Good day, I personally am a hotelier and I do expect some basic things to be in accordance such as clean bed sheets and proper amenities. Arrived into the room to find both single bed sheets have either period stains or blood stains. I requested a smoking room, I do expect a simple ash tray prepared but to find out there was non. As of the systems, Yew Hotel management please do check on the door issues. I cannot scan my card at all and there is no point of going down from the 3rd floor everyday to reset the card scanning. Giving the key for me to unlock the door was not safe at all. If I was a dishonest person, I would go and copy an extra key myself. Please do check all doors if the key card is still properly scanning and get some nice little upgrades too ! Overall, this should be called a nice motel instead. I love the place but some things do need some upgrade and changes. Do take this message positively and I sure hope to come back again soon since Yew Hotel is the middle of every area I needed to be especially for my job. Warm Regards, Your satisfied guest

The location is not too bad. Room condition is okay for what you paid for. There is no hot shower (luckily due to hot weather, cold shower was fine). Stated in Agoda there's free water bottles but upon checking with receptionist, they don't give free water bottles and had not update that information. Woke up by cat meowing (house's behind) at 4 in the morning and also morning prayer as there's a mosque nearby. For a night stay isn't too bad but would not recommend if you are staying more than a night. Parking is also limited at this hotel. Toilet's bidet tap is also loose and fell off when turning.

It was a budget and a comfy place to stay in miri. The rooms was spacious and clean on the first eye, but their facilities are not that good. In one of the rooms that I booked during my stay, there was no doorknob for the toilets and the hairdryer and the television in the room are not functional. The cleanliness of the place was superb until I sleep in the bed. The bed sheets are not clean and you can still see visible stains. Not only the bed sheets, the towels provided are not clean. Visible stains can be seen and the towels provided are torn. It make me and family not comfortable when we finish our showers. The complimentary waters are not given as well. Last but not least, the complimentary water are not given which is stated in the agoda app. Check in and out time are not updated in agoda.

The location is very good which is near to the mall and restaurants. The price was in our budget. However, for our first room has no towels in it and the water bidet was not working well. They changed our room but still no towels in it. We had to ask from the counter. There were few cockraches crawled out from the toilet.
