Where to stay in West Dunedin
West Dunedin hotels & accommodations

This has got to be the Top 2 motels/hotels we stayed at throughout our 14nights in NZ. We paid for the ground floor apartments which were the cheapest. When we checked in, the male host upgraded us for free to the top floor apartment! It was such a nice thing to do. Absolutely stunning views of St Clair Beach. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of the ocean waves...
the front desk lady is very friendly, she borrow us the baby cot for our 18 months old baby. she suggest us to the Dunedin Museum to see the butterfly house. which became our highlights in Dunedin. We have 8 adults in total, all of us had a really good stay in Esplanade Motel, two large dining room and great beach just outside the motel.
