Our family of seven recently spent a night at the Yeosu Expo Utop Marina Hotel Resort. We booked three rooms to accommodate everyone, and let me tell you, the views were incredible! We could all see the ocean from our balconies, and the rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us too. We were close to the cable car station, train station, and all the tourist spots we wanted to visit. There were even restaurants and convenience stores right nearby, which was handy. The pool situation was a bit strange. We were surprised to find out that using the pool cost extra, especially since this is a 4-star hotel. It wasn't a huge dealbreaker, but it was definitely something to be aware of. Another thing to note is that we had to wait for the elevators for a long time, especially during busy periods. With seven of us trying to get around, that could get a little frustrating. All in all, the Utop Marina was a good choice for our one-night stay. The view and location were fantastic, and the rooms were great. Just keep in mind the possible extra fees for the pool and the elevator wait times, especially if you're traveling with a large group.

Location is convenient - walking distance to the cable car station, aquarium, and odongdo island! Room is spacious and clean! We have great costal view. Very pet friendly too! The only thing is- pillows are a bit thin!
The scenery is very nice, and there is a washing machine indoors, so it would be great for those going to the beach! The night view during dinner time is also very nice, so taking a walk after eating enhances the ambiance and lifts the mood ^^ By the way, we visited by taking the KTX, and it's a 15-minute walk from the station, so it's definitely walkable! You can enjoy the sea while walking, which is nice~ However, I didn't think the hygiene was very good... I did see a few strands of hair ㅠㅠ Overall, it was clean, but seeing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable... The tiles are also a bit worn out, and some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked... I guess since it's an old accommodation, it's unavoidable, but if I had visited during peak season at a high price, I would have been very disappointed... haha Also, the other hotel I used before stored my luggage for free until check-in, but here you can store your luggage for 1,000 won per hour... Still, I think overall it's very good for using at a very affordable price during the off-peak season. The breakfast wasn't bad either ^^ I recommend it for those booking with breakfast included, but if you're planning to pay for breakfast directly, you might be a bit disappointed.. haha

“A good hotel option along the stretch near to odong island”
There are various areas that hotels are located on. This area is pretty good considering it is in close proximity to the Yeosu cable car, odong island and the night street food area below the bridge. It is located on the same stretch as the more premium Sono calm, as well as Venezia (appears to be same owner as Utop), Shilla Stays is behind Utop. The room was a good size, generally clean however dust can be seem behind some hidden areas. I was given a odd room with 2 gaming PCs. The room had good features considering it had a full scale fridge, induction hob, washing machine and small conveniences such as wireless charging spot and charging wires to just plug into the phone directly.
