Good location and helpful staffs”
We stayed in a family room which big, clean and it's close to the beach just a minute. All reatuarants and bars locate at this beach so we can walk along to enjoy the day and night. Reception staffs are also helpful and nice to us. They recommend us for a day tour to 6 islands which pretty good and cheap.

my choice for sai kaew beach”
for the price, this room is good. location is near to the beach within minutes. stayed before at Ao Prao before, and prefers Sai Kaew instead as it is more local and plenty of food choices. room is generally ok, clean.

Thipsamed is a beach resort so that it's right next to the beach which is it's advantage. The garden here is quite pretty, can tell it's carefully looked after, but the room is a bit shabby, the lock was not in place so difficult to lock up when leaving the room then the mattress was not too comfortable also the air con was old so it was a bit noisy. And the receptionist is not always there and people in general don't speak English at all so was a bit frustrated when you need a bit of service. But over all , when they appear, they are with an incredibly friendly smile, so.....

its pretty nice place to stay, they have a good area near to the beach with a tropical climate decorations, lovely, the staffs was pretty nice also good food in the close restaurants, just need take care a little more of the bathroom because its old... was sand on the bed before the check-in, out of this everything perfect. thank you Thipsaned Resort.

Nice hotel with the forest setting”
Our stay here is ok...room is ok, with forest setting so a lot of trees/bird sound around our room,the negative is not so clean and a lot of bug...the location is good enough and close enough to the beach

Good location”
The place was quite hard to find because there aren't any signs to this place. Had to ask directions few times before finally found the reception. Location is good tho, just 1-min walk to the beach and 15-min walk to the main pier. They should install shower outside the room or any possibility to wash your feet before going in the room. After two days there was sand everywhere in the room. Room was good enough for sleeping, taking a shower and can keeping your stuff there.

Less than average but excellent location”
The location of this place is awesome. In the back, not toward the beach, there is even one of the best place to do snorkelling in the island. Boats stops there, but from the shore, it is not easy to reach. Only 100 meters but you will have to walk on rough stones. Beside that, this hotel sucks. The curtains are in a bad shape, there is construction all,over the hotel in August 2014 (but not noisy) staff doesn't have half you will ask. I've seen much better on this island...and we paid a good price.

Basic room with all you need after being out for the day/night. No hot water for the shower. They let us check in early. It actually has it's own private beach which could be utilized.

corner of the beach, no wifi, breakfast with limited 1 choice everyday. security is not good, as what the guard said, there has been break-ins from kids. hence, we were quite uptight about where to hide our stuff whenever we leave our room.

Great location”
Had a lovely time, the single bed was very lumpy and the breakfast was just ok. The fried eggs were swimming in grease ! All in all though great location and good value for money.

Decent Hotel”
the beach of this hotel was park with all the fast boat from the main pier. A lot of the china tourist would land here for the activities. not much facilities were provided. only the normal housing keeping which has to inform to the reception everyday.

Overpriced for what you get”
Overall, it was just too much money for the condition of the room and the location. The pictures made it look right on the water, but we were the farthest from the water with no view and the view behind us was a junk heap. There were multiple holes in the wood deck leading to the room (for our room and for our friends' room). One was even hidden with a mat on top! I wish the price would've been half as much...$80 is WAY too much for this place. They didn't tell us when breakfast was when we checked in, so we missed it the next morning by 30 minutes and they just giggled. Not helpful.

This place has a good location of convenience such as transportation, restaurant, beach, night bar but room not clean, Most room equipment damaged, Blanket make me itch, Many sand in room, can not open back window cause bad smell, No service mind with room service and reception.

New Year Trip”
The first room we were in there were rats running around in the ceiling, the tv didn't work and the air conditioner spat out a worm. We got moved to a better room but still there was no hot water. Poor hotel, needs massive renovation.

The room we got was ok but the bathroom seat broken and has the nails stucked. The bed was comfortable but has cockroach . Millipede come out to welcome after checking in so this is "where human meet nature"

Substandard room ”
I paid 1600 baht per night for 2 nights. When I arrived, they let me choose one out of 3 rooms. Those 3 rooms were all really run down. I chose one nearer the beach. The floor tiles were off the ground which made squeaky noise whenever they were walked on. Sheets have been used for long time that they weren't white anymore. Other rooms that weren't on the list for me to choose seemed to be in much better condition. So I think that's what I got for the amount that I paid.

Dirty room stinky bathroom”
The room was really dirty. The owner sort of encouraged us to take off shoes and get inside, yet the floor was really dirty that i can feel debris on the floor. On top of that the water was not clear. It was yellow one so we thought its because of rusted water pipe. I complain about this and the owner said all the water on Koh samed island is like this since the water is delivered from the land and put it in the water tank which was hard to believe. She also said it would be better for us to wash our face with the bottle water. Last but not least, the bathroom stinked so much that i really didnt want to use it. It was not worty. It was terrible.
