"Motel was located 5 mins away from the hanmer springs thermal pool. Just beside the hike. Very easily accessible and got the biggest motel. Came with a fully stocked kitchen for family of 6 adults to cook dinner etc. Came with 1 shower and separate toilet cubicle. Rooms were all very spacious and very comfortable. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Heater in the hallway and living room saved our lives. Electric blanket were comfortable as well. We love it very much and will stay here if coming back! "

"The very first experience was the struggle to get my car into the very tight parking. And it just didn't get any better. The place is most certainly not 4 star which was the rating. We probably paid about $50 too much per night. The room was cold because its on a timer so you dont use too much power. Could hear people showering in the room above, the bathroom fan woke me up it was so noisy, I could list quite a few more things but am sure you get the drift. They are more concerned about the income as opposed to the customers experience. "

"It was a lovely room and would have been very comfortable. Unfortunately we were in hammer springs during a 30 degree day and the room had no air conditioning. Sleeping at night even with the fan provided was difficult. We discovered early the next morning that the shower head was in need of repair. When turned on it would not stay up so had to hold it while showering. Both of these are not major issues and had we noticed the shower while the hosts were available then I am sure it would have been fixed. "
