Amazing location”

We spent 4 nights at Westin Siray Bay. We were amazed from the beginning by the view from the location. The 3 pools were also beautiful, having a breathtaking view towards the bay area. Staff was friendly and breakfast good. There were also some downsides: -internet in room available only for a fee; -shuttle bus towards Phuket/Patong for a charge and it left without us 2 minutes before scheduled time, leaving us in Phuket to wait 45 minutes for the next one. -at checking they asked us for a deposit of 2000 bht/day from our credit card. After a short discussion though it was possible without it, provided we will pay cash for all the expenses.

The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa Phuket is the perfect location for relaxing with day spa, amazing restaurants and bars plus beach activities. The resort is 45 minutes from the airport and 15 minute shuttle trip to Phuket Town. amazing in every ways

Peaceful and beautiful resort ”

I enjoyed my stay at The Westin siray spa and resorts with my bf. Everything was good. Beautiful view and peaceful area, very natural and green. I like Thai food restaurant with a nice waitress and Thai food as well. I will come back maybe if I have a chance to visit Phuket once again. However, only this one, I think The westin siray should have solution about the lobby area. I like the lobby area where is very spacious and nice but there is a bad smell (i don't want to use "terrible") when I came down there. I think because the lobby area very near the garden and there are so many trees around, so that smell comes from those kinds of things. But anyway, it makes the customers who enjoy cocktails or some drinks at the bar near the lobby feel uncomfortable and not really enjoyed in the best, as me. Anyway, I liked my relaxing time in Phuket last week with The Westin siray spa and resorts. Thank u for your service!

Secluded luxury”

We stayed in a Sala Pool Villa and Superior Sea View on separate days, and the facilities in both are fantastic. The pool villa has less privacy that I would have liked (next to a pathway, pool is next to entrance to room), but the view over the bay was truly fantastic! For the difference in price, we feel that the Sea View is adequate, though reaching the rooms is a bit of a hike. The resort is fantastic overall, and we will likely return if we come back to Phuket. I wouldn't recommend the resort to those with accessibility concerns and/or strollers owing to the terrain. Breakfast is expensive if not included in the rate, and the restaurants are certainly a bit more expensive than in the city. Cocktails are well mixed, and service was excellent everywhere that we went. Room service isn't unreasonably expensive, and service is quick. It is important to note, however, that the beach is not very nice and serves more as a scenic touch than as a useful swimming area. At low tide (mid-afternoon), the beach is mostly mud. The resort is quite secluded, though the hotel has an inexpensive shuttle into two major shopping areas (alternating days) if you want to get out and about. Taxi service to Phuket Town is also an option, at 400 Baht per direction.

Good Place especially with kids!”

We stayed at the Westin Siray Bay this December and it was fantastic. The location is great with each room overlooking the vast sea. The property is well spread out with 3 pools and many restaurants that offer you local and international cuisine. The kids club is really good, they have any activities to keep the kids engaged while you soak in the sun . They have options of kayaking and paddle which is good fun and comes free of cost. All in all great location & good service . I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation . I am going back for sure :)

A difficult review !!!”

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting with such impressive views from just everywhere you are in this hotel. It is the most relaxing hotel stay we have had in a long time. Our checkin wasn't smooth, they sent us to a deluxe room that wasn't clean from the last guests so not a great start but they dealt with their error quickly and upgraded us to a suite. So many positives of this hotel which are.... Fantastic breakfasts, efficient service, relaxing environment unlike some breakfasts. Friendly staff encountered throughout this hotel. Excellent food served in all restaurants and we thought the pricing was reasonable for a hotel. Beach activities reasonably priced with great friendly sports staff. Large rooms, cleaned to a high standard. But there were negatives sadly but these didn't spoil our stay at all....sadly, the Prego pool is falling apart, tiles missing in the pool, jacuzzis not working, very poor for a Westin ! Taxis Overall, I would rate this hotel as a four star resort due to lack of activities like tennis courts and extras. Maybe this Hotel is too Westin branded, the annoying piped music in the reception area which made you feel like you were in a large city Westin rather than Thailand !! Get rid of those dirty ceramic mugs served at breakfast with tea and coffee and replace !! One huge thing to note as a resident to this hotel, there is a fantastic Thai, seafood restaurant just outside this hotel called Playaem you can walk there but they will also collect you in a truck if you ring them the reception will give you their number. Yes we will go back , a great hotel in a remote location but use this as a positive.

Beautiful, calm and rejuvenating”

Very relaxing and revitalizing stay. We stayed at the hotel 9 nights from 4th April to 13th April 2013. We had a lovely sea view room with pool access. Hotel is beautiful but is located at considerable distance from any town centre or public Phuket beaches. This is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. However if you want the option of having lots of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance this is not the right hotel. Hotel beach isn’t great; there are many public beaches that are very beautiful around the island. I would strongly recommend car hire from Phuket airport if for the duration of your stay if you wish to travel around Phuket in your own time, else the Taxi charges will add up. Breakfast selection was very good but I have had better at other Westin hotels around the world. The quality of room service and restaurants is very good but it is not cheap.

Wow factor is huge. Location is very secluded.”

The location of this resort is both a blessing and a curse. Being so far removed from the rest of Phuket, it gives you very quiet and serene evenings to lounge by the pool and sleep in peace in this party town. However, on the flip side, all taxis in and out of the place cost more, due to the distance. 200 baht to go pretty much anywhere, which is about four times more than staying in town. Only taxis come in and out of the main entrance as moto taxis and tuk tuks aren't usually common in such a high end establishment. The Sala pool suite is phenomenal with absolute privacy, perfect views and your own plunge pool. That alone makes it worthwhile. The spa is huge and services rendered were excellent, but be prepared to pay accordingly for it. Their prices are on par with high end resorts back home. There's a fleet of golf carts with bell personnel giving the guests rides to and from their villas, as it can be quite an uphill walk if you choose to do so by foot. Everything is pricey, including food, in room dining and spa services. But it's justifiable with the amount of opulence and seclusion this place gives you.

Relaxing trip with great service”

Westin hotel has maintained its standard with the comfortable room setting and spacious room facing beautiful sea view. Service staff were all very friendly, attentive and passionate about their work. We dined in EEST for breakfast and dinner, the banquet staff remembered us and carried humorous conversation. Meals in Westin hotel were fantastic, especially the Thai food that we ordered during dinner was really authentic. The hilly designed hotel provides a different experience that we just wanted to explore by walking around or buggy would take anyone around if required. The location is quite far (One end to another) from Patong beach and Phuket Town but the hotel provides shuttle bus with 200 - 400 Thai Baht per person one way. We ended up with a taxi (800 baht arranged by hotel) as the ride was approximately 45 mins and the waiting interval was a little too long for us (3 hours apart). They said we had to make reservation at Westin Hotel's tour/transportation reservation desk before departure if we wanted to take the shuttle bus from Patong Beach back to hotel, we found it too troublesome and inconvenient as it is difficult to estimate the time spent in shopping/beach/etc and we had to wait for 1-3 hours if we missed the last one. We also took a taxi in the end. It costed us 750 Baht one way. Overall, we had a relaxing weekend with Westin hotel. Something worth to mention, please leave a note to the hotel if it is a special occasion. We celebrated birthday and we were given a mini chocolate cake and room upgrade. Of course it doesn't happen to all hotel and it is not guaranteed to receive those surprises. Still, we were happy for the special little thing they did for us. This trip was indeed special.

Enjoyable luxury stay”

The view of the sea was fantastic especially with the private pool. However the pool isnt adequate for swimming, just good enough for dipping and enjoying the view that is also joined to the next room which you have to share. Luckily for us they gave my parents the next room. The pool facility is made up by the hotel's main pool which is excellent with the kids pool; about 3 that is joined to the main. The pool features a bar which is where I enjoyed most of my time. The view from the pool is stunning, the sea view and the hotel view. Outside, going to the lobby or its other facilities requires you to take a walk on a well laid path of numerous trees, plants, bushes. We were able to see monkeys too. If walking is tiring all the time you can also call the porter to your room where they'll come in a golf cart. The kids club is an excellent facility where there are 2 nannies available. You can leave your kid (from toddler up) at their care and enjoy some aline time, or you can play with your kid as well, no time limits. We found the staff very friendly. The breakfast is one of the fantastic feature of the hotel. There are tons of food and the food is good. You have so much choice, predominantly western and Asian but including Indian as well. There is a lot the  choose from that it makes it difficult to choose which. I literally stuffed my face during our stay that I had to skip lunch. The level of service was professional and the spa treatment according to my wife was top notch. We had a light problem in our room and when we called the technicians were prompt, and after they left we got a call from the lobby to make sure that the problem was fixed and that we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I were to return to Phuket I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great place for a couple to chill out”

The ocean view room is spacious and has a nice balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities in the room and the hotel makes it a great place to just relax. The restaurants are good too. As a resort with rooms that are spread out over a hill, you would have to use the buggies to bring you around the resort. The location is far from the town or any shops but there are shuttles to Phuket town and other beaches. Otherwise, you would have to rely on expensive taxis.

too short”

it was too short. The hotel is quite far from all phuket attraction, but if you need some rest after all the party in the town, i think this is the place to go. The view is amazing, the breakfast buffet is good (although i still think Westin Nusa Dua Bali is better). i did nothing but finishing my book sitting by the pool or dipping into the pool and ocean. It was really wonderful.

Everything has seaview”

Had our pleasant and relaxing stay. This is the best and most reasonable priced sea view Room Resort in Phuket. Resort is quite far from city or busy Patong beach though, if you arrange for island hopping tour, you might have to pay for additional pick up charges where pick up is free at Patong area. Shuttle bus to City and airport pick ups are available with a fee. So it is the best only if you stay-in and relax at Resort. We were being upgraded to Elevation suite, it was spacious, see though bathroom was a surprise for us. Pools are not so big but nice. Our favorite is Horizon pool, don't forget to grab a glass of cocktail and enjoy Sunset there. Wide spread of buffet breakfast available. We had our meals at Seasonal Tastes(reasonable price, friendly stuff and delicious) and in-room dining (great to slag in room and have dinner in your room where you still can have magnificent sea-view),

Pretty Sweet Hotel they Got Here!”

My dad & I stayed at the Westin this past weekend and had a great experience. We booked this spot simply because of the close proximity to the Ferry Terminal (we headed to Phi Phi the next day). Our time at the Westin was short but sweet. We were greeted by friendly front desk staff who arranged a great room for us. They had a tour desk in the lobby that was also particularly helpful. It's a beautiful property, pity we didn't have anytime to enjoy the pools. Though the beach may not be white sand with crystal blue water, it is very pretty to look at from above. The pools at Westin would surely be an outstanding place to spend a few days. The breakfast buffet was also really nice. The Italian restaurant was quite good too. Only problem was the Thai restaurant on property was fully booked so we couldn't do dinner there. It was no problem at all, but maybe it could be a good to connect with their staff ahead of time and check in with them regarding a dinner reservation. If you do go to the Italian restaurant, definitely get their Mojito, that was great. Good stay, would have loved to been there a bit longer. Nice soft landing for Thailand!

Comfortable with friendly staff”

Staff were friendly and we got upgraded to the Pool Suite which was awesome even though it was onlu 0.8m deep. However, it can be quite a climb back to the room. Can always get a buggy ride up. Overall, the resort is away from the hustle of Phuket. Taxi ride to Patong or town costs 800baht. Even finding something nearby for food is not easy as no local eateries have English menu. Not advisable to walk out in search of anything. Quite a walk. Only downside is having to pay for internet from our Pool Suite room. We used the free wifi at the lobby. Restaurant and room service are awesome. Overall this place is most suitable for honeymooners. Honeymooners, pool suite is for you.

Resort living, good for families with young kids”

The kids love the pools. The dining experience was wonderful. We love the spacious deluxe room and having the convenience of buggy car to ferry us around the resort. The only inconvenience was the distance to Patong, Phuket town and airport.

Excellent customer service and epic stay”

We stayed at the sala pool villa, it was excellent. Excellent in terms of customer service, breakfast and buggy service from my room. Ms Joy from the front office stands out from the rest. I will definitely go back again during my next trip to phuket. Thumbs up. Location is slightly off the city, so if you want a peaceful retreat from the buzzling city life, Westin is the best. :)

Great hotel if you want to chill out”

My experience at The Westin was great. I totally intended for this trip with my girlfriend to be a super chill trip where we just laze around and eat good food whilst we enjoy the romantic sunsets. The staff at The Westin were in particular very impressive. Most staff could speak in at least two different languages. What impressed me the most was when we were at the hotel lobby, we overheard one of the staff conversing in very fluent Chinese with a Chinese Tourist. Although I have to point out that if you have to use wifi, be prepared to fork out at least 470 baht per day to use it in your room. For free access it is only available at the hotel lobby.

Nice view from pool villa, great service!”

We had our vacation in Phuket to shooting pics & vadios for our wedding. The pool villa we stayed has great view over the ocean, the crew of Westin gave us kindly services; the GYM also has nice view of the ocean and nice equipments. The hotel is a little bit faraway from PaTong Beach, but it is a quiet, nice place to stay in!

Excellent ”

Great resort not too far from Phuket city (but you need a car) well appointed large rooms, great service. Three exceptional experiences we had 1) they provide a running map for joggers 2) excellent quality and variety at breakfast 3) surprised me with a birthday cake! Booking tip: ask for a high floor to get a great sea view
