Great Place to Stay”
This resort blew me and my family out of the water! It is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were very modern. The lighting was amazing. The beds were comfortable. They had places to eat there... the Thai food was great at the restaurant but American food would be what is expected over there. My son was able to eat it and he's a picky eater so it wasn't bad... it was just good. Breakfast was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly. We had called them a few times to help us with the safe and they were amazing every time. Everyone spoke great English! The water was cold when we went to take a shower which was only in our room since I tried the room my mother was staying in and it was warm. I called the front and they were able to get it warm for us! The location was absolutely gorgeous. When walking to breakfast every morning you would see the green mountains behind the resort and just feel so relaxed! OMG at This beach we meet another couple and while walking back with them we noticed some blue glowing specks when walking back... There were traces of BIOLUMINESSENCE! We were so shocked! They were so bright! Curious as to what we were doing others came down to watch as we splashed water on the receding beach and saw more bright blue dots (algae) slowly get bright and then fade! It was amazing! Now I'm not sure if this was just a one-time thing or if this is there all the time, but I would recommend going down at night and splashing the water on the shore close to the hotel... the little puddles left behind from the receding water to see if they are there. We rented motor scooters... we rented from two places since at the time they didn't have two available.. the one on the left Chill travel agency... I cant remember the name! Was amazing the lady was so nice. The one on the right when looking at the street across... MR. Pui Travel was a horrific experience. Great place for families”
We enjoyed our two nights stay at this hotel. The kids played on the water slides for the majority of the time we were there and had a lot of fun. There were enough sunbeds and parasols. The massage ladies are great and prices very similar to what you pay on the street. Great to have them right on your doorstep. I enjoyed a foot massage, foot scrub and back and shoulders massage. The breakfast was good - cereals, fruit, yogurt, eggs station, a choice of about 4 different Thai dishes, sausages, ham, salad, decent bread, 3 different cakes/pastries, waffles tea, coffee and juices. Happy hour cocktails - the service was extremely slow (wasn't busy and it took over 30 mins!) and not great value as not much alcohol in them and mostly ice so don't bother with them. Reception staff were lovely. Maid service great. Porter was really good. Rooms modern and very clean, beds super comfy and rain shower with hot water. Big bottles of shower gel and shampoo. We didn't try the restaurant on the beach. There are some sunbeds on the sandy platform and steps down to the beach. In the evening, the tide was right out and we could walk on the beach but in the morning, the sea was right up to the steps so no beach. Location of hotel is quite good. Bit too far to walk into Kaibae main street with kids but there are some shops, 7/11 and a few restaurants within walking distance including a highly-rated pizza place.

Ultimate stay”
This was really unforgettable stay here, rooms were small but clean and tidy and give you a feel of luxury and you get a big balcony with the room, food was another plus, as we were vegetarian, we always have very few options for the breakfast bit the chef cooked yummy Thai dishes only for us, it made our day, thanks to chef. Beach was another plus, sunset here was very romantic. They have a bar restaurant on the beach, and a nice water park on the pool side. Great stay, will recommend and come back some time in future

Perfect place for family with kids”
This place is amazing! When I booked the place, I didn't expect much, just to play the pool with my 7 year-old boy. I think he's gonna like playing sliders. When we get there, there are lots of impressive things: the location, the look of the hotel, the service, the beach, the bar, the room, and the pool. One of the best things I wanna say to everyone is their service staff are very kind and well-trained. They are willing to answer all of questions you may have with the smile. I don't wanna say but you will feel like god. The bathroom, the pool and the bar are also very impressive. If I wanna to complain, only thing I can think of is parking spot is limited. If it's full, you need to park outside. But there is a staff taking care outside. So no big deal. I am definitely recommended this place to everyone. My boy doesn't wanna leave ^^

New and exciting!”
Our kids (teens and young ones) loved the water slides and pool facility! Never had trouble finding a lounge chair by the pool. Beach is small but some space to play in the sand and wade out into the water. Parking is limited and can be difficult to find but in the evening there is an attendant to help. Breakfast is good but it was obvious that this hotel is new because they struggled to keep up with refilling and clearing tables. Songkran was probably the largest crowd they have had though so to be expected. We ended up needing to call each day to request to have our room cleaned- they normally don't do it until the later afternoon which is when people want to be in their rooms to take a break from the heat. Once we called each morning, then it was cleaned before we returned. Rooms are clean and fresh with recessed lighting which provides a really nice atmosphere. Comfortable beds with soft linens and towels as they are still pretty new! Rooms aren't huge but the bathrooms are spacious- loved the large shower! There is a 7-11 right across the street which is really convenient and the location makes it easy to get to several popular restaurants nearby. Be aware that the deposit is cash only (which was a bit of an inconvenience that I wish I had known in advance). Lovely little spot- would definitely recommend it!

Best location for a family with kids”
Nice place. Aquapark exclusive for guests. The nice thing is that the aquapark is at the entrance and the beach is at the other end. Adults can have a quiet time on the beach and the families with kids can play at aquapark. Clean water, clean rooms.

Great hotel to relax ”
Extraordinary staff, very friendly and helpful. Great direct access to the sea. Only the music at night was loud in our room (with a small child who goes to bed early). Selection of breakfast could differ a bit. All in all highly recommend for a stay with children.

Very nice hotel and staff very friendly The pool area is fantastic for the kids & adults. The bed was really comfortable and room decent size with nice terrace. Breakfast was delivered to the room at time of our choice and was tasty. Hotel is in good location right on the beach. Would recommend to everyone.

This is the best trip I ever had. The check-in is took a while but understandable due to lack of maid. Over the room is needed and relaxing. The beach is nice and comfort. The staff are really nice. We are impress by the pool. The slider is really nice and really clean.

I spent 20 nights here in a double superior room, great value for the price! Very nice new Room, big king size bed, pleasant balcony, big bathroom, I had some problems with the shower but I'm sure they fixed already, very good breakfast thai/intercontinental, just the beach in front the hotel is a bit small, but many other beaches are very close.

Been to Koh Chang 7 times and stayed at great resorts, but The Slash is the best for young and older kids alike. Great water park quaint beach, excellent staff, wonderful breakfast and fantastic location.

What a fantastic place to stay! ”
The hotel is located right on the beach and has beautiful lush garden. The room was clean and very comfortable. There was a variety of breakfast in the morning. Staffs were also very friendly and helpful. And water slices were very amazing. Totally recommended.

Great family getaway!”
We have stayed here twice and really enjoy it! The location is great- you are close to all of the restaurants on the back side of the island, not far from the waterfall and there is a 7-11 and delicious pizza place right next door. Housekeeping is unpredictable, as it was last time, but if you call, they will come and clean and do a nice job. Breakfast is fine- enough selection but nothing to write home about. They are friendly and the pool is so fun for kids. Nice little beach, affordable massages right on the property (on the beach) and a lovely place to relax for the week.

Fun Hotel for Families with Kids”
We had a great time at this hotel. The staff were super nice. The rooms are brand new. The waterslide pool and park are a lot of fun, and safe. In addition to all of this, the hotel is also right on the beach too, so you have all of the best of these areas. I highly recommend it for families with young children, and families with parents that like waterslides!

This is a beautiful hotel, with a great location on the beach. For families this place is superb, with a water park the kids can play all day on, just remember the sunscreen. The staff here are also very accomodating and friendly, overall a brilliant weekend break, and I will return for sure.

Great pool and good rooms”
The rooms are newly renovated. They were really comfortable. The beach area is nice too, the restaurant slightly overpriced(apart from the happy hours). Breakfast is sublime! The pool area is big bonus if you travel with younger kids. All in all we would definitely come back here!
