Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur - Brilliant”
On arrival at the Ritz Carlton with 3 other girlfriends we were disappointed to find our rooms were not next to each other. We expressed this to the reception staff and they immediately attended to it very apologetically and we were given larger rooms next to each other. The promised Butler comes to your room to finish off the checking in with juice and cold washers to help relax you. The service at this hotel is excellent. All of the staff talk to you even if they just happen to be at the lift with you and gave us so many tips on the places we were going from how to barter at China Town, to clothes to wear at Genting Highlands. They remember what drinks you each like the next day both at breakfast and in the lobby bar. We had the same barman in the lobby bar each day and he was so attentive to all of our requests even whilst he was so busy with many other patrons. The pianist played most of our requests beautifully. The rooms were well appointed with an IPOD docking station - great idea. There is an easy walk through the hotel to a shopping centre that has many very good restaurants in it, all different nationalities - beautifully designed and great to have so much choice without really having to step outside of the hotel. All in all, for 4 ladies who love to holiday together every year we found the Ritz Carlton Kualar Lumpur a fantastic hotel and one that is going to be hard to match on future holidays - I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel spoiled and special for their entire stay.

Superb, Top Notch Service”
i am a loyal customer of ritz carlton in kl. this is my second time staying here, after my previous first stay in ritz kl, i instantly became a loyal customer and would not want to stay in other hotel but the ritz in kl. great location, connected via starhill to marriott hotel entrance that leads to pavilion mall. the moment i stepped out of the taxi, the bellboy remembers me and said welcome back, i am impressed considering the number of guests they see each day and the last i stayed was 2 months ago. the staff are extremely sharp, while i was checking in, the bellboy gave me my luggage tag with my name on it, i was like how can he know my name while he didn't even ask receptionist, he said oh he just check my own luggage tag on my luggage, that is very proactive i thought. my floor butler is attentive, and as i was in kl attending a wedding, i needed red ribbons for the wedding present, i asked my butler anywhere i can get red ribbons, i wasn't even insisting he gets it for me from the way i asked, but he instantly took the initiative and said he will check with business centre and he came back with red ribbons, tape and scissors,and when i checked out, they didn't even charge the ribbons i used. ritz is excellent, i have stayed in many nice hotels from my business travels, including the top international chain hotels, but i must say i have not met one that matches ritz service level. also, i find the ritz nicer than marriott although connected, and marriott is more convenient and due to this, marriott is very crowded and busy, full of tourists cos of its convenient location, while ritz just extra 3 mins walk behind marriott via starhill gallery but a lot more boutique and quieter, which is what i like and hence more personalised service from ritz. i am a loyal guest of the ritz in kl definitely!

Manager made my day ”
I arrived at the ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur at around noon but have to wait till almost 4 pm before my room was ready. We were tired and sleepy. Mr Florin the assistant manager attended to our check in and we were allocated a very nice room which I am very satisfied and he attended to our every needs. Is my first time at ritz Carlton and I will definitely make this hotel my favourite and looking forward to come back again. The staff was attentive and helpful.

happy to stay in ritx carlton hotel . always stay at this best location hotel if i travel to kuala lumpur. i always recommended this Ritx Carlton hotel to my friends. really good location for shopping and dining. pub is just around the corner. supermarket just at the basement. atm machines just in front of the hotel main entrance. taxi stand just in front of the main entrance and always priority for hotel guest. everything provided in this hotel, free wifi only available at hotel lobby but not in the room. but recent stay, they started to provide free wifi for hotel guest, unlike last time need to pay for it. really convenience for people like me, lazy to walk and everything you need it you can get it immediately. staffs are friendly and always with greetings and smiles (^~^) hotel food always slurrrrrrppppppsssss~ yummy~ of course will stay there again for my next malaysia trip. keep it up!

Luxury Hotel With a Great Location ”
I stayed in Ritz Carlton Hotel Kuala Lumpur for two nights and that's was a great choice . The check in was fast , staff were friendly and polite. The room i stayed in was Luxury . The Star Hill shopping mall is 2 minute walk through Marriott hotel a nd the Pavillion Shopping mall is 10 . The hotel has no view to any tourist attraction but still it was a great experience .

Epitome of service excellence”
I have stayed in Ritz-Carlton properties several times and as expected service was beyond compare. From the smooth, efficient and hassle-free check in to the quick and friendly checkout, was the recipient of wonderful service delivery. I had a little challenge with the construction noise coming from the building across the street (clearly not Ritz-Carlton's fault) but it was expeditiously taken care of by the night manager. Noteworthy are the following associates who made my stay more than comfortable: Stephano of guest services who showed me the way around the property and brought me to my room, Sobree of Housekeeping- always with a ready smile and offer to help and most especially Tanzie whose efforts at service recovery is commendable at the very least. Those who teach customer service (like I do) should make Tanzie's caring and friendly approach a benchmark in the industry. I left the property with a big smile on my face. I shall see you again, Ritz-Carlton!

Outstanding service”
Landed early in Kuala Lumpur and the hotel was able to check me in early. Went up for breakfast and I have to say that was one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel breakfast. It is set up as a continental (mostly) buffet and you chose one hot mains from the menu. They bring over a very delicious bread platter (a few croissants and breads) and your juice and coffee. The breakfast staff are always around and are very courteous, ready to instantly fill up your juice, water or tea/coffee. I plan to have breakfast (and meetings) there even if not staying at the Ritz. The room, Executive Deluxe, is quite large and has a sofa, coffee table and chair on one end by the TV and the bed in the other end of the room. Separately, there is a small room where the work desk sits, which I very much appreciated. The bathroom is nice with separate bath and shower. There is also a butler to sort you out should you need anything in the room. It's more of a smaller boutique 5 star than a massive hotel which is rather impersonal. I experienced this during breakfast and interactions with the butler. Thoroughly recommend.

Very comfortable room and the lobby smells great!”
We spend the weekend in KL at the Ritz Carlton KL and had a great time. Prior to arrival, I emailed the hotel informing them that we would be arriving only about 9pm and you like them to reserve a room on the high floor with a king size bed for us. Their very helpful, friendly and efficient staff Miss Natalie Lim replied promptly and made all the arrangements for us. When we arrived,after a quick check-in, we were allocated a very nice and comfortable room on the top floor with a great view! As she was already off duty by the time we arrived, Miss Lim left a hand written welcome note on our desk in our room to welcome us and even left us some pamplets on attractions in KL which she thinks might interest us. I ran into her the next day in the lobby and she was warm, friendly and full of smiles, just like what I envision her to be! The room we were allocated was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. It had a large soft 2 seater sofa in front of the LCD Samsung flat screen TV. The good size work desk is located inside the walk-in closet area and you will not be disturbing your partner sleeping with your computer screen flare. The desk also has a good number of electricity plug points to cater to all our charging needs. The bed was very comfortable and the butler delivered us 3 extra firm pillows immediately when we requested for them. The bathroom was big with separate shower, bathtub and toilet bowl areas with embroided plush towels and bathrobes. We brought back some local food for supper one night and requested for some bowls and utensils from our butler and he brought us two sets of heafty,earthy expensive looking table settings! The location of the hotel is great. There are no shortages of shopping malls, street food and convinent stalls within a short walk. Overall, its a great hotel to stay in. A great value for money too.

Luxurious accommodation and faultless service”
We arrived at the Ritz-Carlton quite late, tired and hungry after an international flight and were impressed with the fast and smooth check-in process. Our room was just beautiful, quite large, with a host of little extras to make our stay very comfortable. Every floor has a butler on call to help with anything you might want, although during our short (one night) stay, we didn't have need to use the service. We had a late night flight home on the day we were leaving, and the hotel gave us a complimentary late check out (3:00pm) and then allowed us the use of the pool/fitness centre/business centre etc until we needed to depart for the airport at 7:30pm. We were able to go shopping, eat an early dinner and then use the showers & change rooms at the hotel before heading off for our overnight flight. The hotel is linked by a pedestrian bridge to the Starhill Gallery shopping centre and through to the neighbouring Pavilion shopping centre, which eliminated the need to cross roads where drivers dangerously ignore pedestrian crossings. The Starhill Gallery has a variety of great eateries to choose from, which are open till quite late at night. The only disappointment - and it was minor - was the lack of in-room wifi. There was a cable for laptop connection, but as we were travelling with an ipad, that wasn't much use to us. The Lobby Lounge was a very pleasant place to have a drink or a coffee and catch up on email though. The only other problem we had was with the luxurious bedding, which is filled with down, which was lovely except for the fact that my husband had a nasty allergic reaction to the feathers. Not the hotel's fault, of course, but something to be aware of if you have allergies.

Beautiful hotel”
The Ritz is a wonderful hotel which is beautifully located and the rooms are very well appointed. Each floor has a butler service where you can order free drinks all day. The butler will run a bath for you and cover the bubbles with orchids when he makes up your room in the evening. The afternoon tea at the Ritz is certainly no to be missed. The only regret is that we only stayed one night on our way home to Bangkok. Would go back to Kuala Lumpur just to stay at this hotel again!

Luxurious hotel with very helpful friendly staff”
The hotel stay could not have been better. The hotel staff were very very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very luxurious (we stayed in the Executive Delux Rooms) and the general decor is very grand and modern both at the same time. The hotel is situated within walking distances to many major malls and attractions. (Pavilion Mall, Twin towers etc) The travel information center in the hotel was very helpful and even organised tickets for us to visit the twin towers so that we avoid staying in a long queue. (This was ofcourse at a price but was nevertheless very convenient) We would definitely stay at the Ritz Carlton when we visit KL the next time.

It's a Ritz Carlton that should just about say everything about this hotel, you get exactly what you expect, great rooms, personal service a butler a DVD player. Staff are fantastic, every time you come back to the hotel you get "Welcome back Sir". The great thing about this Ritz Carlton is the price it's so cheap for what you get because it's in KL. It's also built into a shopping centre which makes it fantastic for shopping.

Perfect home away from home”
visited kl with my hubby and stayed over at ritz carlton for two days. right from arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful assistance from the hotel staff. the corner room we stayed in was spacious and clean. as expected with the ritz experience, we were impressed with the facilities, amenities and frequent housekeeping services the hotel provides. the location was a great plus as it was located at bintang walk and is connected to starhill gallery. we practically did not even need to go through the hotel lobby whenever we were out. in fact, we were so touched by the overall experience that we extended our stay at the hotel for another 2 days! it was truly a home away from home!

The previous 5 day stay in 2005 at Ritz Carlton was so good that I made it a point to stay again whenever I'm in Kuala Lumpur.This time I brought along my friends to enjoy the service and facilities. It was so heartfelt that they remember your last stay and the butler Ms Wee personally see to it that you are welcome back. Her thoughtful gestures of chocolates at bedtime was so delightful for the ladies. It was truly a 6 star stay that makes your travel a comfort ,almost like home returning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur. Received a room upgrade. The concierge and front desk staff were a big help in making reservations with the restaurants and other activities. The location of the hotel is a short walk to the Pavilion Mall along Bukit Bintang area. The room was veey clean and spacious. Will stay here again when visiting Kuala Lumpur.
