“Poor upkeeping”
This hotel is located inside a cultural heritage street which is 15mins drive from the LuoDong Train Station (town centre), if not visiting the cultural heritage street probably not the most convenient choice to stay. We arrived around dusk and mosquitoes and other insects are at peak, hotel does take an extra effort to combat the problem and we were told to keep the mesh door and windows closed at all time once entered. Bathroom overall was clean but has the wall mounted faucet was detached at its connection points to the wall plumbing looking very awkward. It’s a pretty poor upkeeping of the hotel facility. Breakfast was very decent though. Has a vastly different choices. Staffs at the entryway were all very pleasant both morning and night shifts. If you like a night tour around the cultural heritage street, it’s worth to stay here. Otherwise, there are a lot of options available with the same price bracket

“Exceptional value, comfortable and relaxing.”
The price includes unlimited access to the cultural experience, and there is a basket of special snacks in the room, along with 4 cans of drinks in the refrigerator, which is very thoughtful. The 2-bedroom, 1-living room layout is surrounded by greenery, very comfortable. The breakfast the next day was surprising; it's not very varied, but everything is delicious. The biggest highlight is that they even have freshly squeezed celery juice, which is amazing! The current Yuan Bo is even better than the previous Laojia Travel, great!

“One of the Best hotel we stayed in Taiwan ”
We travelled as a family with two young children aged 4 and 6 years of age in middle of April. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday so less crowds. We loved the peaceful atmosphere within the cultural centre and the quietness at night. Good selection of buffet breakfast where you can also choose different ingredients to be cooked in a soup on the spot. The kids loved the special cultural performances on Friday night and the night exploration of the cultural centre. The hotel room itself was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to stay over here if exploring the cultural centre with kids. The only thing is that it’s quite isolated so would need to drive a fair bit if not wishing to dine in at the hotel restaurant.

“Very good to go with kids”
Firstly, the environment is very clean and facility are well maintained. The staff are all friendly and passion. Whenever you have any kind of request, they do the fast feedback and good service. The room price included the National Center for Traditional Arts. There are many interesting things to visit and many DIY to do. So good for kids. And the breakfast is really great, some local food you have to try~~

“Should have stayed longer”
A one day stay felt too short. It is right beside the National Center for Traditional Arts which offered a lot of activities for the family. A stay in the hotel came with access vouchers to the NCTA. The room was clean and very comfortable and the surroundings very spacious and serene. I highly recommend it!
