I really fall in love with the place. welcome drink and fruits already prepared for you in the cool fridge and it is located right in front of the beach.It is really the best location for beachgoers.mosquitoes trap, slippers,umbrella all prepared for you in the cupboard.spacious and cooling room. I don't feel like leaving the room with my husband except for taking sunset and sunrise photos. comfy bed and nearby there is a washcoin laundrette and dryer. you may need to walk a distance to night market but it is worth the experience.

“I felt like I was home!” I had an opportunity to stay at The Hen Huahin this past Wednesday. When I called to confirm that I will be traveling with a dog, the lady on the phone was very helpful! When I arrived I got a free upgrade from being an old customer (1 year ago) As I walked up to the room I was greeted by the maid saying that “Welcome back” I was quite impressed, it’s been a year!!!! The event that was the tip of the iceberg started with this conversation. “Excuse me we would like to have seafood for dinner could you please recommend a delivery place for us?” My expectation was for us to just use the venue by the beach and eat out of a foam box then clean up after ourselves. But what we received was more than we expected. The lady from the restaurant received our food delivery, set the table, served our food as if it was made from the hotel. She even set up water and ice fo

We have travelled many times to HuaHin, stayed in many types of resorts and hotel. But nothing so amazing, relaxing and enchanting Boutique Hotel like the Hen. The hotel itself a has only 6 rooms. Quiet and peaceful location with the beach right in front. Good for couple and family. The room is old fashion classic styled. Loved the bathroom! Could have stayed there forever haha. Also, its seated in the city area so if you walked out, you have plenty of options to eat. Local vendors or nice restaurants. Convenient stores. Staff super helpful and clean room. Would had loved to stay there longer if we didn’t booked another hotel before that. We are coming back for more :) Downside though breakfast want incl. and you paid 300 THB additional cost/pax it was decent but think if we eat outside would had been more worth while. Overall top top top highly recommended.

It is very old. The hotel doesn’t renovate to keep it nice. I have been there long time ago and fall in love with it, but not anymore. This will be the last time for this hotel.

I had to mob the floor myself as it was so dusty. The bath tub took forever to fill and hot water only run for 4-5 minutes. Great service though.

Beautiful resort on the beach by Restaurants and Tourist Spots!”
The Hen Hua Hin was absolutely beautiful. The resort looks like it does in the photos and is right along a lovely part of the beach. The resort has an inviting and warm vintage aesthetic that I was really drawn to. The facilities were clean and breakfast was delicious. My friend tried the western breakfast but enjoyed the Thai style congee much more. I had the chicken rice both days and really enjoyed it. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Coco51 is really popular. I'd also highly recommend the Inu Cafe (dog cafe) that's less than 5 minute walk away. My friend and I walked from the train station to the hotel (20 minutes). We also walked to the Hua Hin market from The Hen. The Hen's location is really convienient. Staff were really kind, considerate and helpful. I highly recommend The Hen and hope to stay there again on my next visit to Hua Hin.

Lovely small hotel & polite staffs”
this is my 2nd stay @ the hen. it's a small 6 rooms hotels with interesting history behind it. each room has a different cute decor that i enjoy. so it's quiet & can make you feel like you are in your own private vacation house. their staffs are very nice, super polite. as we all know english is not their mother tounge but they tried their best to please & make our stay as pleasant as possible. the hotel price is reasonable. the location is a walking distance from downtown hua hin. 5-10 mins walk, i would say. the beach there is very quiet. i feel like i had the whole beach for myself, unlike other hotel i stayd that located south of downtown hua hin. there is no vendors hang out by the beach @ the hen try to sell you foods or merchandises. i think that i don't like is the bath tub they have there. their bathroom itself is very pretty & clean. they look like one of those chic bathrooms i have seen in the decor magazine. but it's not functional! how many time would one take a bath a day? there is no shower in a room. what they offer there are stand alone tubs with no shower/curtain. so if you want to take a shower, you have to sit in a tub & do so. hmm... maybe you can shower outside by the pool, i guess. i gave hotel condition/cleanliness a 4 because it's quite warn out compare to i first stays there 2 years ago. but!! it's still lovely & clean. overall i like the hotel & i'd recommend it to friends.

Our Stay at The Hen”
The Hen is a delightful small guesthouse about 1 km. north of Hua Hin town centre. The buildings are over 100 years old, with the original roof and Italian floor tiles, furniture and cast iron baths. Happily the plumbing is modern and very efficient. It fronts the beach – two minutes from bed to swimming in sea or the small pool! Breakfasts are excellent and generous and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is a world away from a typical modern four star hotel and its robotic atmosphere.

Oldfashioned small hotl with good service”
A small, well run, cosy hotel. Garden restaurant with good food, especially the English style afternoon tea. The garden is on the edge of the beach and the small swimming pool is an excellent alternative if the sea is rough. The centre of Hua Hin,with its good shops and excellent sea food restaurants, is an easy ten minutes walk away.

Great getaway as always”
We come back to The Hen for a quick energy-charging trip, and the resort never disappoint. The breakfast is to die for. The Pool Villa is very spacious, with connected pool with jacuzzi surrounded by low tree fence for privacy. The space is like double the normal room so it's very suitable for longer stay. It's also on the front side of the hotel so you have to walk a short walk (2-3 mins) to the beach. Unfortunately, the newer neighboring resort/hotel has it's restaurant with not-so-good singer right next to The Hen, so you can hear the music until almost midnight. Also be prepared for the mosquito, they try the best they can but being old houses on the beach and surrounded by garden it's unavoidable.

A perfect getaway right on Hua-Hin Beach”
we have been eyeing the hen for a while but never get the chance until now. the hotel is a vacation home of one of thai's well-known aristocrat family and just recently converted and open to public. therefore the look&feel and even the staff looks like they come out of an old tv drama from when we were young. we were treated so expertly we felt like we have become one of their masters. the welcome drinks and fruits are superb. actually, all the food and beverages are in the best and best quality. we only stayed one night so we only have the time for breakfast and not their infamous dinner. the only downside of the hotel would be the fact that it was an old estate, so the walls are thin. and unless you close all the window and turn on the air-condition you would hear the staff walking about, carrying dishes, and so on (we get the room that is almost next to the restaurant in the hotel.) but that wasn't a major setback! we have a very pleasant stay and we wish we have more time to enjoy everything. definitely would go back!

I spent a night and I promise myself that I must coming back here again. The hen is a house which full of history. I felt like I was spending my vacation at my own home which next to the sea. You can choose to have breakfast in room or at the hotel's restaurant which is next to the beach. Imagine how it's gonna be like to have breakfast on a comfy sofa with the scene of the sea. The hen located in the walking distance to the night market. The decoration of the Honeymoon Suite was sweet, but it has no bathtub in the bathroom. There's a round jacuzzi pool outside your room but in your private area.

We never expect that we will get the warm welcome from staff like this. Firstly, we're been served with original Thai dessert and Thai drink from the hotel- friendly staffs. They give us the booklet as the guide for staying at The Hen. It's quite useful and also very impressive- like the history of the house- especially in the part that they mentioned that our King used to play music with HRH relatives there. Next, we fall in love with the vintage design room. All are classic well-blend with comfortable. From my experience in staying in Huahin since I was a kids, this hotel makes me feel it's worth to pay for.
