From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and care by the attentive team, with special recognition to Miguel and Anand for their above-and-beyond service. We all enjoyed a warm welcome to breakfast every morning from Anand, who’s smiling face made us feel at home. One standout experience was when Miguel, one of the exceptional staff members, took extra care to show the children the turtles and monitor lizard on the property. His attention to detail and genuine care for our enjoyment made the experience even more special and memorable. It was evident Miguel was highly experienced in hospitality, greeting every guest, while anticipating every need. He had exceptional attention to detail. While the resort's location and stunning views were a highlight of our stay, we did encounter some minor issues with long waits for room service and room service food quality. The ongoing construction works in the lobby, accompanied by construction workers occasionally yelling at each other, created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere at times. There were some shortcomings that prevented this resort from reaching a five-star rating, we encountered stains and holes in dressing gowns. Additionally, we were surprised by charges for basic amenities and the unavailability of services such as ordering coffee directly after breakfast hours. The resort offered two breakfast time slots (7am - 8:45am and 9am - 10:30am), so we chose the earlier slot to accommodate our early riser, kids. However, this setup also had its drawbacks. Opting for the earlier breakfast slot meant that on occasions when our children were feeling tired and needed more rest, we had to wake them up to ensure we made it to breakfast on time. While we understood the rationale behind having two breakfast sessions to cater to all guests, it could be a bit frustrating at times. Additionally, the breakfast location at the resort was occasionally moved around to accommodate varying numbers of guests. After a busy weekend, parts of the breakfast setup would be packed down, leading to uncertainty about where breakfast would be served next. The staff worked tirelessly to manage these changes, but the unpredictable nature of the breakfast setup could be a bit disorienting for guests. The breakfast spread at the resort was good. Guests were treated to a wide variety of options, including an egg cooking station, a soup station, Western and Asian breakfast choices, and a delightful selection of pastries and cakes. Additionally, the spread featured freshly brewed coffee and a refreshing assortment of juices, meeting the expectations typically associated with a buffet breakfast in Malaysia. Exploring the grounds of the Haven all suites resort, we stumbled upon remnants of an old zipline and ropes course, hinting at the resort's past glory days. As we walked through the property, these remnants sparked our imagination, allowing us to envision how wonderful and exciting this resort must have been in its heyday. Also, our visit to see the pony on the property was a bit disheartening. The pony was tied up without access to water and appeared to be covered in bites, giving the impression that he was not in the best condition. This sight was a stark contrast to the otherwise enjoyable and well-maintained activities and amenities offered at the resort. Another aspect that caught our attention was the extremely high cost of laundry services, which was a bit of a disappointment. Great rooms with superb view”
Great place for a quick getaway. Checking in was fast and quick. They were ready with my bookings. Took about 10 minutes to settle everything and we were on our way to the rooms. Complimentary activities and welcome drink with discounts for hotel spas Its a serviced apartment converted to a hotel, so the "rooms" are spacious with kitchen. Complimentary snakes and drinks in the minibar. Rooms are clean and nice. The toilet is a bit small and looks like there is no water trap in the pipes, from time to time it smells and dont forget to close the door or the smell will get everywhere in the room. My room on the 16th floor is the lake and it was gorgeous and breathtaking. During dusk there were low clouds and you feel that your room is in the clouds with a lake at the bottom. The pool is huge and nice. Breakfast is okay, nothing great but not bad either. However cutlery and glasses is unclean, with lipstick stain still visible on the glasses and food stains on the fork. Overall it was a pleasant short stay. Will definitely come again. If the shortcomings are fixed, this will definitely be a 5 star for me.

The hotel is actually made from a residence building layout. The room and suite was great, clean and spacious. The facilities are great. The serenity is beautiful during the day, at night can be quite mystery. The breakfast was good. The only downside was during my stay I had to wait more than 2 hours to get my food for room services, and had to call them 3 times to remind. I almost cancel my order, if I knew I were to wait that long I'd rather start my car and went looking for restaurants outside. Nevertherless, the room service food was tasty and delicious. Overall, 4.5/5.
