3D2N Stay Review – The Grand Campbell Hotel I recently stayed at The Grand Campbell Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. Here’s my honest experience: Check-In & Staff: The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I truly appreciate the hospitality shown by the front counter staff – they were polite and welcoming, which gave a positive first impression. Room Experience: The room was quite decent and acceptable for the price paid. However, several issues affected the overall comfort: • The bath towels were too small, not suitable for adult use. • No refrigerator, iron, or ironing board in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. • Unfortunately, the room had many cockroaches, which was quite disappointing and unhygienic. • Wi-Fi connection was unstable, often disconnecting. • Digi telco signal inside the room was very poor. • Housekeeping only came after 4 PM, and by that time I had to approach them myself just to get larger towels. • TV reception was poor, with most channels not viewable. • The air conditioning was not very cold, though still acceptable for someone who prefers a moderate room temperature. Breakfast: Breakfast options were very limited, but for the price, it was acceptable. I didn’t expect a full spread, so the simple selection was manageable. Hotel & Location: While the front office location felt awkward and not very inviting, the hotel’s overall location is excellent – right in the heart of the city and very close to popular shopping areas. Parking was also convenient and reasonably priced at RM7 per day. Overall: A budget-friendly stay with a fantastic location, but the room cleanliness and maintenance need serious attention.
