Upon arrival to leaving, the experience was amazing. To try are the nature walks as the guides are well versed. Staff of Datai are wonderful people, making our stay even more welcoming. Thai restaurant was delicious and the Tom Yam, superb. Food at the beach bar was also great. Overall, it’s worth the money spent. Shall come again here for sure!

We had a great stay at The Datai. All is top notch from food, services to facilities. Staff were all very friendly. My kids had lots of fun at the pool and beach, as well as the countless buggy rides we took. If I could suggest something, it would be to have a bit of activities for kids less than 6 yrs old. They will enjoy them as well.

Nice place to stay in Langkawi”
This is the first time that I visit Langkawi and I consider to stay in The Datai after compare with other hotel. During my stay I very impressed with their services and care. They alway asked if we need anything and they willing to help us with the heart. All staff train very well. The room and Toilet was clean than I expect even it’s inside the forest. The facilities was superb. Talk about animals and wild life there, they have show up but they not harm you. I very recommend for this hotel to stay.

Resort - I like the size which you wouldn’t find in any where else; private beach, private rain forest, a stream crossing the forest villa area... you will not feel boring as many activities awaiting Villa - we stay in the forest villa and the beach villa. Both are great, specially the beach villa. It’s sea front. The amenities are superb. Pool and beach - both pool are good with services like ice cream, cool water and so on.. Staff - everyone’s here are enthusiast about what they are doing. You’ll realised most of them been here for very long. They loves their job and this really make me feel good Restaurent - due to the corona virus issue, we can only dine in our own villa since the 2nd day we check in. I think the local food like nasi lemak, fried mamak mee and roti chanai is good. * they have the MOST comprehensive wine list I ever seen else where... trust me, I’ve been to most of the beach resort in Asia and the Pacific regent.. the list is about a cm thick. some is rare...

Excellent, superb and world-class standard of resort living accomodation”
We visited Langkawi once the MCO was uplifted in Malaysia, so it wasn't so occupied back then for us to fully enjoy the serenity and what the resort has got to offer us. We basically pretty much enjoyed our stay here in Datai and always think about revisiting it. The pricing may be steep but definitely worth the money for what it can offer. Great variety of food options with reasonable pricing, excellent staff services. And the property is so well maintained. There are a lot of activities for guests to do as well from jungle trekking, complimentary floral and fauna explanatory trip around Datai, excellent spa and massage services. Words are just not enough to express my happiness and satisfaction for staying at Datai. Would highly recommend it and it will change your perception about resort standard in Langkawi. So do not hesitate just try for yourself.

Had fantastic 3d2n stay at the Datai. Excellent 5 star service from the staff. They were all friendly, courteuous and helpful. Really felt the warmth during my stay there. They even arranged a small bed for my 5 year old n arrange a small birthday cake my family. Beach was really clean n love the herb n flower garden.Will definitely recommend to my friends n come back in the future.
