This hotel was the winner amongst all the others that we booked. As soon as we entered the hotel, their hospitality started bringing us lemongrass infused sugarcane juice and some cookies. We had booked a villa and the room was exceptional in all ways, such large sized rooms with the best of amenities and their daily stock of savory and sweet treats to the villa! The buffet-breakfast and dinner , was both unlimited and awesome, such authentic tasting dishes! The chef even went out of his way to prepare and serve curd rice when a member of our family had a stomach upset They went beyond their ways to make us comfortable. Ever smiling staff who made sure you had all that u requested for, complimentary drying service, fish feeding times, kids activities...all this and more.. I would love to come back again. This was the most memorable part of my holiday.. thank you Danna . You were truly amazing!

Our second stay and we were spoilt rotten and pampered whilst we soaked up the serenity, beauty and comfort of The Danna. The rooms are spacious, opulent and luxurious. The Danna was exceptional, no doubt about it.I would give the hotel a higher rating than five stars because it is truly amazing, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, i and my friends had dinner at the terrace restaurant the food was amazing, and had a buffet dinner the next day I highly recommend to try there buffet the food is delicious and amazing, and there is a wide variety of food to choose from. Chef Kashif gave us some recommendations for dishes we should try, which was really good and Chef Dato Pari Subramaniam would always stop by your table to say hello and make sure you were enjoying your meal, which was excellent. Overall, the hotel far exceeded my expectations. Everything was excellent, I had a great time, I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Langkawi and I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We spent 4 nights at The Danna and really loved our stay. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The breakfast is amazing and has huge breadth and quality. The beach is clean and the sea is nice. The pool is great to refresh and swim. But best of all is the wonderful staff and the overall feeling of relaxed and understated luxury. Pro tip: book all-inclusive for best value of stay+food and drinks
