Xmas 2022 at The Chic Lipe”
I had an absolutely brilliant time at The Chic Lipe. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the dorms are so clean and peaceful. I slept extremely well. I met lots of lovely fellow travellers and I miss it already. The only criticism I could make is that although the toilets were clean, the showers could be replaced. They are getting a little worn. It was fine to shower in but not a pleasure. There was free coffee, biscuits and water, plenty of space to chill out and work if necessary, food was available if you didn't feel like going out and it was really close to Walking Street but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this hostel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you Chic Lipe for a wonderful stay and many happy memories made.

Spacious double room with private bathroom”
The Chic Lipe is as it's name suggests chic and luxurious for a hostel. The private rooms are super spacious, some of the largest we've seen in a hostel, and come with a really modern bathroom and design. We loved the concrete walls and wooden interiors. The common area on the ground floor is also very spacious, has plenty of room to sit and chill and even 2 pool tables if you fancy a game. We were here in low season so it was very, very quiet but can imagine this place will be buzzing in high season. The breakfast was a choice of either western style or Thai style with both being good but we preferred the Thai style. We also hired the bikes for a day, but they are a bit old and not ideal for the hills on the island but all in all we still enjoyed using them for a day and would do this again. If you're on a budget on Koh Lipe this is definitely the place to be.

Good coice in Lipe ”
Could be more social vibe, it's rather very quiet. At the same time you can sleep very well, the beds are comfortable, with the curtains privacy given, staff is very nice and English speaking. The only thing cleanliness could be improved, especially walking without shoes the floor should be cleaned continously, as well as the bathrooms and dorms.

Best hostel ever”
The hostel is so cool that once u step in, u just want to keep staying there. The furniture is superb and the place is very spacious. I talked to some guests there, some of them extended their stay because they loved the place so much. Will definitely stay there again if I travel to Koh Lipe next time

Great place to stay in the cnter of Ko Lipe...clean rooms, friendly staff, and a fat cat 🐈 There are shared dormitory rooms and large private rooms. My goto whenever I'm scuba diving Thailand's Tarutao National Marine Park.

All were great! I was so satisfy! Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was clean and AC worked so well, I always feel fresh when come back to the room after having my trips around Lipe or snorkeling. Nothing to say no ! 😇

Not the upper deck pls”
The common area is nice, bathroom is not very clean, I saw a used sanitary pad on the floor in the same bathroom for 2 days,toilet is always wet everywhere even at 3pm. Location is ok, this is very small island. BUT beware of their upper bed, it is very high, much higher than normal, once u climb up, u will not want to come down again. I am 1.62cm and my hands unable to reach the top even with tip toe. It is very dangerous for ppl with back issue. Those who drink need to be very careful.

I had only planned a week here in the hotel but because of the Corona I extended and stayed 2 months. The staff was very friendly and welcomed me like a family member as I was the only customer. I would always come back. The room is modern and clean, the food is so delicious.

This is one of the best places on the island for the value. It is incredibly clean, you have plenty of your own space, there is water and coffee in the refrigerator available 24 -7. The staff is lovely. You can’t beat it!

This is my second time to visit Koh Lipe. The Chic Lipe is one of the best hostels I had ever stayed in Asia and Pacific region. The spaces for the bunk bed and common area are really spacious. The breakfast and Thai food are so delicious and deserve a try. The most important thing is the super friendly staffs. They are very helpful and kind to each guest. Thanks for their considerations and hospitality.

Nice place, close to walking street ”
Nice and friendly staff Good breakfast for 150-200 baht Close to walking street and sunrise beach (100 m) and atm. Nice rooms with air con and good beds. The whole place has a nice atmosphere and a friendly staff who is willing to help their best Also nice to sit outside and enjoy a coffee. Travelled as a young couple and stayed for 8 nights. Would recommend!

I moved back there after a few resorts”
Easily spent two weeks here, the most wholesome WiFi+air-conditioning+strong hot shower combo. I spent a few nights on the mid-upscale beachfront resorts too but went back to the Chic eventually, as the differences beyond privacy was marginal. Thanks to the reception desk team for obliging with my relentless bed change requests! It was perfect for a digital nomad.

Cute and trendy hotel”
Cute and friendly staff. Initially got a top bunk bed, but didn't feel comfortable because it was high and steep. Luckily, the staff informed me that there was a vacant bottom bunk, so I moved down. The hostel has spacious and clean common areas. The downside is that there are no power outlets in the bathroom and very few in the room. Also, it's not advisable to have the common seating area right in front of the bedroom because the room doesn't soundproof well and people talking can be very loud. Overall, it's still a good place to stay. I recommend giving it a try.

Solo travel without fear, very clean accommodation around and inside, luxurious and good service. The receptionist smiled brightly and gave good advice on sightseeing. We stayed in a female dormitory, with a light, a plug with 1 socket and a USB plug, and most importantly, a wardrobe in the bed. The design is good and concise, and the atmosphere is great. 🤟🤟🤟🤟

Very friendly staff, helpful with everything. Facilities support is sufficient with umbrella and cloth bag rental. Breakfast includes bread, jam, orange juice, and coffee. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with a locker provided. Same group as Akira Ananya, so you can use the swimming pool at Ananya.
