Tv channels were boring though but overall great experience. The fact that the hotel was connected to the mall makes it very convenient for us. Getting food, necessities and clothes was very easy. And the PWTC train station was connected to the mall as well. Even though it was raining the whole time we were there, we barely noticed as we were always sheltered. Staff there was very nice. Our stay at Sunway Putra Hotel was wonderful. The room was on a high floor, big and the place was clean. The view from the room was not great. The location is a bit distant from the usual tourist attractions but there are plenty of local restaurants, shops nearby and a metrorail station right beside the hotel that helps with the commute. Hotel is connected to the Sunway Putra mall which has some great shops and restaurants too. The breakfast was good and the hotel staff was great too. We had a large group of conference people during our stay and it was difficult for the hotel to accommodate this large group and provide a nice breakfast experience. Something the hotel should definitely look into it they want to provide the best stay for all it's guests. There were some renovation work going on that did not make the hotel feel as luxurious as it should be. I was slightly disappointed by the pool area which the surrounding of which was covered due to the renovation work. Pool was open, but the facility was not as welcoming so I opted not to use it. Hotel tried their best to provide me with a great stay. I requested honeymoon arrangements and they provided this. I had to also checkout very early for my flight even before the buffet service began so I requested a takeout breakfast and they were able to accommodate this request in a short time. I would say the hotel does great to be a 4 star property. I do recommend it if you get a good deal.

55 minute airport transfer. Hotel lobby and reception are really nice. The room is average, a little worn but clean. We were there over the weekend. The breakfast was chaos. Food choice was good, coffee was decent. More attention could be paid to topping the food up and cleaning down the surfaces. The staff were all very polite and friendly, especially the desk giving help/maps etc. The pool was full of kids jumping in, so we didn't bother to use it. The location is a little out of town (which we knew before booking) We used Grab taxis, very cheap. We would recommend this hotel, just maybe avoid the weekends!!
