Relatively new hotel at a convenient location”

The hotel is new and very clean with a nice view to the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park as well as the whole Sunway city. Connected to Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon Theme Park making it one of the best choices if the travel itinerary including shopping around Sunway Pyramid and entering Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. Despite being surrounded by the happening Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, it is very quiet at night and good sleep/rest is guaranteed. On top of that, it is also very convenient for travelers who intended to travel around Petaling Jaya/Subang Jaya areas, by driving/taxi/ubers. Staffs are very responsive and helpful to our requests. Facilities wise, there is a swimming pool at level 8. Despite it is an infinity style pool, the view was not one of the stunning one. Thus, we have skipped it. We also noted there is a gym at the same level. Breakfast buffets provides a good variety of food while the taste are good as well. (Try their Nasi Lemak and rendang chicken, they are definitely one of the best) Price wise, it is slightly cheaper than Sunway Pyramid Hotel but definitely not a budget one. Would suggest the management actually further revised down the price in order to attract more travelers. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at Sunway Clio Hotel for us. Would recommend to friends who have budget for the accommodations. Travelers who are unable to get a room at Sunway Pyramid Hotel can also consider this.

Comfort in the West Wing of Sunway”

We travelled from East Malaysia for a long Sunway weekend to visit family and friends. I stayed at Sunway Clio with my mom and 6 year old son in December 2016. It was perfect for our needs - proximity to the mall and Monash university (where my niece has enrolled); as well as the USJ neighbourhood - ever accessible via taxi. Staff were extremely hospitality savvy- from concierge, reception, housekeeping, F &B - very helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel and our room, give off a brilliant new and sparkle feeling as Clio was reopened in early 2016 following a renovation. Beds and pillows very comfortable - two shower options in the spacious bathroom, and tasty food at breakfast. One point to note, our taxi driver from the airport didn't know it as Sunway Clio but luckily knew it by its old name (Pyramid West). Good thing I knew it's old name. All in all, a lovely long comfortable weekend in the West Wing of Sunway.

Excellent hotel with connected shopping facilities ”

Sunway Clio Hotel is a very well-maintained & clean hotel. The property is also connected to the shopping mall beside it. You don’t have to travel downtown to get your shopping fixed. Sunway Pyramid is a huge shopping mall with major Brands in it. Right beside the hotel, there’s Healthland massage too. Excellent place for a good massage after a day of shopping. The hotel breakfast serve quite a decent spread. The only improvement which I hope to see in my next visit - food kept in the food warmer can be maintained at a warmer temperature. Btw, the hotel does provide complimentary parking coupons for guests who drive there too. Overall service from the front desk to housekeeping are great!! In summary, not much complaints.. happy to re-book my next stay with them. =)

Perfect Location and Clean Room. Hotel for all groups of people.”

Rooms were very clean and new. Its a rather new hotel and had great reviews. With adequate bath room facilities, standing shower. But no bathrobe. Rooms are quite well sound insulated. Not much noise can be heard from inside the room.Spacious room for family trips too. Oh the beds are definitely very comfortable. A very good night sleep. Location was perfect since it is just next to the Sunway Pyramid mall and had a covered pathway. And just 3 min walk to Bandar Sunway Lagoon Entrance.There is a minimart next to the hotel if you need to buy drinks but not much choice though. Staff was quite friendly at the front desk and are very helpful even though the hotel was full house. Breakfast was quite ok with many choices. I believe the food is halal too. Overall very good experience and definitely the hotel that i will return to.

Exceptional”

Sunway Clio Hotel is our favorite hotel to stay whenever we are in Subang. It is located in a strategic location and next to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. Every facilities in this hotel is really great. Morning breakfast is also really good. My sincere thanks once again to Front Office Team comprising Ms Karen, Ms Dayang, Mr Ali and Ms Lo for extended check out time during our stay on 26.11.19. Our special thanks to conceige staff- En Jamil for helping us to load our heavy stationery from hotel lobby to car park. He is very helpful, well mannered and carry out his duties well. In my personal opinion, it is Leaderships by example leads by Ms Karen Lee and Ms Dayang. Every staff here is truly excellent and always displayed the highest degree of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

Great hotel”

Everything's good considering its holiday season. Just to share experience below. I couldn't locate the carpark for this hotel (even tho just under the same block) I parked at Blue area Sunway Pyramid (Parking still FOC) and the parking ticket fee cannot be waived from the Autopay machine so the Hotel guy assisted me by walking all the way to my car park and ensure I can drive out without issue. Turns out the Sunway Clio hotel still haven't fully integrated into the Sunway overall Parking system as this hotel relatively new. Good job to the hotel guys... Price a bit expensive due to to holiday season though but understandable.

Everything You Need Nearby”

Our family enjoyed our stay in Sunway Clio Malaysia. It was quite short as we were only staying for 2 nights before driving off to Cameron Highlands. The Sunway shopping mall was conveniently located to our hotel. It has a supermarket and department store for easy access of basic necessities such as fresh milk, fruits, snacks, clothes. There’s a Money changer in the mall for changing some monies to RM. There’s also a fun water park, amusement park & zoo which our family found enjoyable. There’s multi-level car park so plenty of parking for everyone, neat clean rooms, excellent reception lobby staff. My three children found their Sunway Clio stay most memorable and enjoyable as this was their first time in Malaysia.

Great teams & best hotel ”

Sunway Clio hotel is always our first priority & the best hotel to stay when ever we are down in Sunway, PJ. The location is great & all the staff are well trained & display highest standards of professionalism. I believed it is from the great leadership by the hotel’s Manager, Ms Karen Lee. She really treasured all her hotels customers & personally ensure that our stayed in the hotel are pleasant & comfortable even though she is on leaves. I can conclude that I can’t get this kind of treatment & hospitality from any other hotels other than Sunway Clio hotel. We would like to extend our appreciation to Ms Karen Lee, En Fazrah, Megala and the rest of the hotel’s staff whom make our recent stay a memorable & enjoyable one.

Visited KL for the first time, was recommended Sunway Clio by our friend. Amazing hotel in a great location. Comfortable and clean room. Love how it's connected to Sunway Pyramid, which makes shopping easy and kept the wife extremely happy. Breakfast spread was great, with a good view of Sunway Lagoon if you're at the window seat. Overall a pleasant stay with attentive and kind staff who were all proactive and kind. Would definitely recommend everyone to stay at Sunway Clio!

Great hospitality”

I'm especially in awe w the ground staff. They were all very friendly and smiley throughout our stay. Especially Eric from the concierge who went above & beyond to take care of our needs. In conjunction w our son's birthday, we left a cake w them and wanted to hand carry it to the restaurant on the other side of Sunway via the shopping mall. It was quite a long walk from Sunway Clio to Sunway Resorts, Eric offered to hand carry it for us after noticing we were pushing two strollers w two kids in tow. We politely reject then he offered to drive us there. Upon reaching the restaurant w the cake he also offered his phone number and invite us to call him to fetch us back to the hotel. He also handed us a small box of chocolate for our son's birthday. His hospitality service should be highly applauded. Thank you, Eric! Not forgetting Casey too, he made us feel very welcome. Our only disappointment was the breakfast, noted due to current SOPs it was envitable. Overall a great stay!

Lovely Property with perfect location and exceptional staff”

Everything about Clio is perfect, be it’s location, caring staff, rooms, facilities or breakfast spread. It’s next to Sunway Pyramid mall and have lots of restaurants and cafes to explore. Our check in was smooth and request for early check in was entertained. Free WiFi is fast and available throughout facilities. Breakfast spread was wast and caters Malaysian, Chinese, Arab and Indian cuisine. Room size was big and beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property and it’s totally value for money. Would like to mention front desk staff Fazuaf Sher, Lee and ladies at reception who were always attentive and prompt in customer service.

My First Priority and the best hotel in Subang”

Sunway Clio Hotel has always been the best and our first priority hotel whenever we are in Subang. Every facilities in this hotel is superb. Front Office Manager- Ms Karen Lee is humble, friendly and efficient in every aspect. Every staff here is truly excellent namely En Fazrah Sher, Dayang, Mr Lee, Haslinda and Md Robin of the Cafe West and the rest of the staff in Sunway Clio Hotel also displayed highest degree of professionalism in the discharge of their duties. In my opinion, Ms Karen is a great team leader and always ensure her entire team delivered their very best service to all their hotel’s guests. Syabas.

Polite staff, good location & clean rooms”

Stayed at Clio with 3 young kids whilst my husband was at Sunway Pyramid side for an event. We arrived early & were prepared to wait for our room but the efficient front desk team managed to arrange a room for us. Mini bar drinks were complimentary & could be topped up daily. Hotel breakfast had a international spread of local, Indian, Chinese, Western & Middle Eastern food with friendly service team. Very welcoming & warm service throughout, even to the extent of being served chilled water & cold towels whilst we waited at poolside for our kids playing in the pool. A definite choice when we head back to Sunway area again.

Great hotel”

I came to Malaysia many times. Most of my accommodations will be Sunway group. The the first I stayed with Sunway Pyramid hotel and later on I changed to Sunway Clio Hotel, this better for business traveler, clean, good and also very convenience to go other places thru Grab. Recommended!!

Exceptional”

We are the regular customers in Sunway Clio hotel since our daughter is studying in the college nearby. All the hotels staff here are excellent and providing great service to their customers. Location is great and next to Sunway Pyramid. Breakfasts is good and got lots of varieties. We really enjoyed our stays in this hotel. Only drawback is that we must booked the room early cos it is always fully booked almost every weekend.

Room 14021 has one of the nicest view overlooking Sunway Lagoon Theme Park and the City Skyline.”

Was there over the weekend (30/Mar to 2/Apr). Nice comfortable and tidy room with a huge clean toilet. Room has a big window for you to enjoy the scenery. Together with my wife and three young children, we all enjoyed our stay there (first time in this Hotel though) and will definitely be back in the near future for a short getaway from Singapore. Hotel is co-located with Sunway Pyramid Mall. Huge mall with a wide choices of restaurants and fast food outlet. Well it's a tourist destination and expect to pay slightly more when you dine in here as compare to dining out from Bandar Sunway (Sunway City area). For tourist, staff are approachable and friendly. Able to communicate fluently in English. Level 8 swimming pool is not that big. The best time to the pool is around 1630hrs (M'sia time) onwards as the sun is block with the hotel building. Kids will love this small pool. Hotel provide a decent breakfast but can be better..Ouch. As a whole, I rate this place a family friendly Hotel.

High Level of Customer Service”

Sunway Clio is located at the hustling, bustling Sunway pyramid, so the location lacks nothing in things to do and see. Greeted at reception by Menaga who was extremely helpful, explained everything clearly and concisely. Had already booked a Deluxe plus room, but was pleasantly surprised when offered a room with view of the Theme Park.. usually its a city view! Breakfast buffet was excellent something for everyone, lots of choices both Asian and Western.. Unlimited coffee always wins me over! 15 mins before 12pm check out time i discovered my flight had been moved from mid afternoon to early evening departure... Approached reception hoping for an extension of at least one hour.. General Manager Mr Fazna happened to be at reception, asked the time of my flight and permitted me to stay in the room until 3pm.. perfect, could not have asked for me. Will def stay here again!!

Convenient location & great for family holiday”

Hotel is relatively new with good location. Located directly next to Sunway Pyramid. Great hotel to consider for short holiday with family. Especially with small children. Wide range of activities for kids to enjoy in Sunway Pyramid. Indoor playground, ice skating, archery, arcade, shopping. Sunway Pyramid even have a Grab lounge for you to relax and rest while waiting for your Grab car. A first I ever seems. Hotel is located around 45mins away from KLIA. Easily accessible by Grab.

Very very good!”

Hotel lobby though small looks chic. The reception staffs were very friendly and smiley. We were upgraded to a park view room which overlooks the whole lagoon which was nice! Room is clean and good, everything you would expect from a 4 star establishment. Wifi was steady. Pool is lovely too, with smoking area nearby. Breakfast was adequate. Free parking at the connected Sunway mall. We loved our stay at Sunway Clio, will return when there is a promo.
