wonderful getaway”
im not exaggerating, the best place to stay in tanjung rhu. its simple, no frills, pristinely clean. we spent 4 days here and while theres some wear to the furniture, it is spotless, towels and sheets smell clean and neutral scented. bed mattress is neither hard nor soft, just nice. pillows are just nice too. bathroom is spacious and spotless. almost zero mosquitoes and ants as they maintain the repellents daily. the garden is lovely but be mindful of the coconuts falling from the coconut trees so that they dont land on your head although they do do pruning and upkeep regularly. the area is neat and tidy, family friendly. come here for peace, working is also possible as the wifi here is strong. you can even access the wifi signal from the private beach. the operators are discreet, they dont bother you at all and they are always available via whatsapp or reception doorbell. housekeeping as per request and fresh towels and tp and coffee replenishment are left for your convenience outside. lovely for introverted people like myself. i could not recommend this place enough. only downside is that taxi ride hailing is sparse in this area.

Quiet little huts and peaceful beach”
Staying for 2 nights in this wonderful little homestay, I have 0 expectations before arrive but once I reach it, it’s exactly what I’m looking for. Quiet and peaceful, next to the beach and has everything you needed. The owner was very nice and let me know all the amenities, although the weather is a little rough, it doesn’t affect my holiday mood. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning is so powerful that it cools down a hot room in 5 minutes. The shower has hot water and the water pressure is stronger than in my own house. Lol. There’s lots of outdoor seating area in the compound, just be careful that during evening time there are many mosquitoes. There’s a commune kitchen nearby the beach where you can do your cooking. The beach in front is full of rocks, please wear swimming shoes if you plan to jump in, otherwise, you can walk 5 minutes to the nearby beach. During my time, 90% of the beach is totally no people. You can have your own time and no one will disturb you. About restaurants, there’s only very few within walking distance. I’m not driving so I only can walk. One is the further restaurant nearby Four Season where sell Fish and Chips. Hmm, the food portion is a little small with that price, but it has a good view and draft Guinness. The other one is Din’s Cafe, if they are open in the morning I believe I would have all my meals there. Very decent local makan place (restaurant). They serve everything you’ll expect in a Malay restaurant. They also have western food and all kind of beverages other than alcohol. IT’S SO GOOD AND BETTER THAN MANY PLACES IN KL. If you need any groceries, there’s a shop about 1-15 minutes walking distance. They sell EVERYTHING you need. Surely will be back and thanks to the owner for such a wonderful stay!

Clean, near the beach, nice garden, good facilities ”
We are a couple with a young child. We booked a room for a double and a single beds. The room is clean, with a garden view and a minute walk to the beach. The facilities are great, with a place for BBQ, a kitchen to use, lounge chairs, tables and an open hut to use. Great location with access to grocery shops, local restaurants cater for local & western food- all within walking distance. A down to earth family business. The family lives within the vicinity which we like- it means they upkeep the garden, beach & facilities as they use them as well. It feels like you are welcomed to their home. I’d recommend this place if you are looking for a secluded venue, clean place , and an amazing sunset experience by the beach.

Very clean, very nice staff”
Very clean and well maintained. The staff and the owner couple are all very helpful and cordial. View of palm trees and the sea. Direct access to the sea where you can walk for a long time. Right next to Din, a cheap local restaurant where you can eat authentic and good food. Paradise!

Fantastic small Nice and friendly hotel at The Nice beach in Tanjung Rhu ”
We stayed 7 days and really enjoy our stay. Far away from noicy Pantai Chenang and very nice clean room Nice garden and outside The room chairs and table. The garden and The kitchen at The beach perfect if you want to cook or just heat up your Food or cut fruit. Very peaceful and quiet place. Friendly host family whom take care of you and if you have some request. We Will definetaly Come back. The beach fantastic not so many tourists. You just Walk 200m to right and find beach w a lot of shadow. Maybe byu a sunmat on your way The shop around didnt have. Beside SBC you have a really Nice rest called Din Cafe and up The road many more local Food stall. I can really recommend House of Lamb barbeque Lamb so Fresh and Nice. You find it 15 m w car or mc on The road to Pantai Chenang. There are also a georgous floating restaurant Google and you Will find it. Enjoy your staying like we did ♥️

The chalet is near to the beach, very quiet and privacy place. To whom that looking for a privacy place to stay in Langkawi, this is one of the good place. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There are also couple of warung for breakfast and dinner as well.

The chalets were clean.the beach was nice. There are few stalls ard the area and an ATM too. The owner looks like Lekir of Ultras Malaya. Easy going and cheerful guy.

Clean, well maintained guesthouse on seaside.”
The little guesthouse is located back at the end of a narrow road through a kampung. The eight rooms face a well manicured garden while another part of the yard is directly on the beach. The rooms appear to be new and are very clean. There's a fridge, hot water kettle and a communal kitchen in the garden. I will be back!!!

Rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. beach is also just steps away from the room and clean. Lovely stretch to view sunset and take a swim and also there's a really nice eatery next to the accommodation and a cafe nearby.

I love to stay here. Everything was good, near to beach. Clean room, bathroom. Love their surrounding. They manage the place well. Will definitely come again. But it’s in Tg Rhu area, around 1/2 hour to Cenang or Kuah.
