Beds were clean pillows and mattresses firm. Had refrigerator in room. Breakfast was set out on time and ordered from menu. Very quiet. Will be our hotel in Phetchaburi next time.

Great location if you want to explore Phra Nakhon Khiri (Khao Wang)”
This is just walking distance to the entrance of Phra Nakhon Khiri (Khao Wang) Historic Park. So great location if you want to explore the park. (It's locate near the cable car side of the park since the park has 2 main entrances.). But if you plan to explore the whole town, then you don't have much to do around the area. This is mostly for Thai travelers who have own car/private transportation or else you have to walk or use motorcycle taxi to go to the town/market. The hotel provide free bicycle for their guests though. You can use it to explore around the area and actually the town (and other temples) is easily explored by bicycles . Also noted that this hotel doesn't have elevator so be careful if you have heavy luggage(s). I also believe they don't have bell boy to help you with the luggage but I may be wrong (since I only had 1 bag with me during my stay so I didn't ask for help).

Good stay if it is only a night”
We could spend good night there. There are a few restaurant near the hotel. If you use grab taxi, there is no problem for the mobility for sightseeing for the cave and Kiri historical park. It took a while to reach the convenience store though.

Convenient but....”
The Sun hotel is absolutely fine and ideal if you are traveling by car as it is just off the motorway. It is literally opposite the entrance to Wat Khao and so good for that but not so good for the other Phetachaburi sites. I arrived and left by train and so other places would have been better. I stress that the hotel was totally fine, clean with good bathroom and with a good breakfast.

Clean and friendly”
The Sun Hotel is located near the cable car for the Palace. Some road noise but not excessive. It is kept very clean and the reception staff were very helpful both on arrival and departure. The room was large for a standard room and had been recently refurbished. Recommended.

On the main road, nice breakfast”
Just a one night stay, but Sun was great. Location right off Phetkasem Road, and they have a car park. Price was good, and the breakfast was very nice and free. They have basic sundries and other things downstairs. Overall a solid choice.

we don't care about old hotel, but we care about cleanness and friendly staff. The first time we met staff, we feel good to met her,she's friendly and truthful smile. we think we will contact staff again when we checkout that all for us. But at night we have some problem, we must ask some help from them, they help us with kindly service and absolutely with smile. One thing we don't like this hotel is the outside view of my room, because we see only the back of building behind the hotel (the front of hotel is good view) if some suggestion, may be refine on the roof with partition (may be tall trees etc.) if it impossible. but this not big problem for us to stay here.

Sun hotel provides basic motel facilities. Room is clean and spacious. Wifi network is good in the room. Staff speak basic English, very helpful and provided good travel tips. This is a good choice for budget travelers.

Good one night only hotel”
Got a "hot deal" rate of 800b, reduced from 2000, that's fine, the hotel is only worth 800, so please if the price is back to 2000 find somewhere else. Basic hotel with a basic breakfast, the usual fried eggs, mysterious ham and uneatable sausages, the Thai food however is excellent so go for that at breakfast time. The hotel is a perfect place to stop if your driving from south to Bangkok, stay one night and continue the next day, nothing more. Try King Kong steak restaurant next door, excellent and really cheap. I will certainly stay again when doing the south north trip or visa versa.
