Where to stay in South Dunedin
South Dunedin hotels & accommodations

Small owner managed motel with great staff. Easy walking access to Countdown over the road. Eating options fast food to restaurant by short walks or a few minutes in car or taxi. Good place to access City from by taxi bus or drive. Best options for dining include St Clair beach or South Dunedin for cheeper eats. City centre is under $20 taxi/cab fare away.

Place was great,BUT Agoda listing was very misleading. It told us that this was a self contained unit.and it wasn't .Luckily they were able to upgrade us to another uni which suited our needs..VERY DISSAPPOINTED WITH Agodas listing on this occasion, have used them before and been very happy. DUNEDIN HOLIDAY PARK WAS A GREAT FACILITY.Would definitely go back there to ...

Although on a third visit to Dunedin, the beaches at St Kilda and St Clair - and this motel - were real revelations !! Lovely older-style unit with separate dining area, shower and toilet give a real sense of space (we have lived in smaller flats !). Beautiful beach walk up to the eateries at St Clair a definite plus.

We stayed 1 night. Room was large, comfortable and had great views. Location is away from Dunedin town centre, which has its pros and cons. On the downside, far from conveniences and stores. On the upside, it is quiet and conducive for rest. The house is atop a ridgeline, with unblocked views of the ocean. We had a rental car so it was all good for us. As per Janet's s...

We arrived and were welcomed with a very friendly welcome, the room was clean and had a good amount of space we had 2 bedrooms so the kids had their own space! Unlimited Netfix for us and the kids we were also able to catch up on a few shows on demand with their smart TV offering apps to do So! Supermarkets and fast foods were just down the road so easy yo get to! Town...
