We had excellent food during our 3 dinners at the White Lotus restaurant with excellent service from Suratsak and his colleagues. The pool was super fun and our child enjoyed a foam party for kids at the pool : ) There's a "Wibit" for the adults to enjoy at the pool. When it rained, the Kids Center was a bonus as our child could do activities there indoor. Room was spacious and adequate, despite a little dated but totally fine. Al (staff at the Concierge) was very very helpful to help me book a transfer service with an external service provider, so that we can travel from Sofitel / Krabi to our next destination at Phi Phi. We get picked up at Sofitel to the pier and boarded the speedboat - all with no fuss. It made life easy when traveling with a child. Yuka at the reception was also super helpful at check-in and answered all my questions with smiles. A short walk away is a 7-11 where i can get beers and snacks at local prices. Overall, a very good experience at Sofitel!

Pros: Exceptional resort with classic ambiance. The biggest resort swimming pool ever seen in Thailand. Location was a bit far from the main Ao Nang beach area. Sumptuous breakfast spread. Friendly and accommodating staffs. Nice toiletries from Balmain Paris. Cons: Dislike the private beach as u need to cross a busy road to get there.

Very good accommodation with good service ”
We (me and husband) were at sofitel, karbi for 3 nights with my 2 kids (14 & 4 year old ) and parents. Everyone had a good time at the property starting the day with yoga session (the coach was amazing) followed by big breakfast spread. We went to the pool, there they had some water sports arranged. My entire family had a good time. The coaches were very nice and soft spoken. Th travel desk was very helpful they guided us in booking a boat for Hong island. There are nice eating joins in the walking distance from the hotel (incase you get board of eating hotel food). Over all very good stay. Staff was very helpful and gentel.

The staff are always helpful and the hotel is very well cleaned. All the food in the hotel was delicious. I didn't expect to be able to eat such delicious food at the poolside meal. Even my son, who doesn't like traveling very much, told me that it was a wonderful trip. I'm glad I chose this hotel!

We had a great stay here. The staff is extremely helpful, polite and provides great customer service. I would like to give my special thanks to Nan who works at the restaurant. She took great care of us during our stay. She went beyond her role to help us. We were outside the hotel where we were finding difficult to communicate with local driver. Luckily Nan was passing by and she stopped to help us to convey our message to the driver. Nan, we wish you all the best for your future! We would like to thank Tar who works at White lotus restaurant. He took extra care to make sure that my wife gets customised dishes as she is vegetarian. Thanks Tar

The resort is exceptional. The area is so wide and it has huge pool too. We were able to enjoy the resort and its amenities because not so many guests were there when we stayed. This is a great all-inclusive resort, by all-inclusive I mean, they have golf, the largest pool in Thailand, etc. the rooms are nice, a little old-fashioned that barely pass as 5-star, nothing spectaculor. The reception and outdoor areas are fabulous, and so are the restaurants. If one is planning to go outdoors to the beaches and hillsides of Krabi and only plan to come back to the resort to rest, I think there are much more value-for-money options all around. You won't regret coming here and I think if you have little children they will love the massive pool.
