The location is really good. Koh Lipe is very very small, so everyone is on a walking distance. This hostel is in the middle of the island. They borrow you bicycles for free which is awesome and they have free drinking water. Bathroom with shower is included inside the room. Maybe a problem is that if you stay in the top bunk bed it's kind of hard to get up. Another problem is that wifi completely stops working At certain hours. The staff is beyond helpful and they're the nicest people ever. It was raining one day so they gave us a free fish BBQ which was delicious and some chicken as well. It was an amazing detail.

Clean hostel in a good location”
The hostel is on a quiet street close to the walking street. Beds are comfy with clean bedsheets, reading light, mirror, curtains and lockers. There is free coffee and tea and free use of the bikes. The owner is really nice, so friendly and helpful, she gave me a lot of informations regarding the island and she also sells tickets for ferries and tours with a bit of discount for the people staying at her hostel.

I stayed for 2 nights. Easy access to walking street. Kind staff. But drain system doesn't work good enough. I think it was a good for budget hostel.

Mario, the host, is a nice funny guy. Location just a few steps of the walking street, which makes the rest even calmer. Would definitely go there again for a couple of nights

Mario the owner it's the most horrible person ever. The rooms are super tiny , wifi connection is horrible in Shanti , the say that they have wifi and it's a lie. Ac only a few hours. Do not stay there stay at Sang chan that it's next to shanti and it's so much cheaper and the owner it's a beautiful person

Mosquitoes, nails on the timber stairs, air condistion is only available to look at but not to use, almost no place to stand in the room when all the beds are taken in the room.

Very narrow space it hard to change clothes.The air condition turn on late and turn off early .It really hot in the room although they have the fan provide but it not work till my bed inside .

Super netter Aufenthalt im Hostel an perfekter Lage”
Das Hostel bietet alles, was man braucht. Zudem gibt es Wasser und Kaffee umsonst. Die Owner sind super freundlich und total hilfsbereit. Zudem ist es perfekt gelegen, nahe der Walking street und zwischen den 2 bedeutendsten Ständen und doch ist es angenehm ruhig.

島の中ではかなり安いホステルなので、最初に一泊だけしました。共有スペースで排水のニオイがけっこうしました。ファンのドミに泊まりましたが、６ベッドにバスルームが１つだけなんで、待たなければいけない事もありました。小さい島でみんなする事は同じなので、活動時間も自然と被ってしまうんです。あとバスルームのすぐ真ん前にもベッドがあるので、夜中や朝方にバスルームをガラッと開けて使うのが、そこのベッドの人に少し申し訳なかったかな。とにかく全体的に設備は古いというかボロいというか日曜大工というか。 それで次の日に隣のホステルに移りました。そこはモダンな感じだったんですが、うるさい常識知らずの若者がたくさんいて、シャンティの方が良かったかも。。と少し思いました。こっちには割と大人しい人が集まっていたような気がします。難しいですね。
