Amazing ”
The staff is amazing and they speak English. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and assist you with anything they can, from booking bike or taxi and activities. The room is beautiful and clean. The architecture is breathe taking. Booked the private pool room with river view, beautiful. The breakfast is both Thai and Western and we have live Thai music instruments being played in the background, ohhhh and the breakfast area is at the pool front. Before leaving we walked to the beach, the pool Vila are near to the beach, actually Infront of the pool. The place has pools, I stopped counting at some point. The views and nature, honestly words are not doing justice, one should go experience it themselves.

Lovely stay and lovely people except for 1 staff member”
We had a wonderful stay, such a lovely people. We’ve enjoyed our villa with private pool. We like the Thai style. Such a nice swimmingpool and great breakfast. The staff was amazing except for one woman at the reception. Seemed like she was the manager but we’re not sure. For the second and third night we’ve made reservation for the villa with private pool. I asked a younger girl at the reception what time we can check in. She was very polite asking another woman in Thai what time we could check in. I’m half Thai so I understood the conversation. The way this woman was speaking to this younger girl, I was in shock. How can you be this unkind and disrespectful to your colleage? Then my mom joined the conversation in Thai. This woman was even unkind to my mom as well. The way she was speaking to my mom, we’re amazed the way unfriendly the spoke to a guest. The only thing we would like to know what time we could check in and she was saying a bit angry that we could not check in right now. But that was not what we’ve asked. And she said that we need to wait till 3 PM. But the day before we heard we could check in earlier. The reason why I mention this is because we’re in shock that someone working at such a luxious resort could speak this unkind and disrepectful to her colleage and guests. That’s not okay. And I feel sorry for the this younger girl if this seemed like the normal way to act to your colleagues.

Exceptional! Highly recommended!”
We had the most wonderful experience in Santhiya koh chang resort. Everything was excellent. The view was spectacular; we are from maldives and we have seen many beautiful place’s, but this was different. Im truly amazed by the view of the villa. Ms Fah from reception was amazing, and nan, hanoy, aim , ple also the rest of the team as well. The food was delicious from the restaurant as well as room service . The staffs was very friendly and they made efforts to remember our room number and names too! Mr. touch from the breakfast was wonderful very friendly and very helpful. And mr. art as well. Unfortunately I don’t remember all the names of the staffs but everyone from the resort and the people from the island were extremely friendly. All in all, it was a most unforgettable, romantic, enjoyable and rested experience for us. Wish we could stay longer :) Till we make our next visit. Cheers to all the wonderful staffs 🙂

Beautiful Authentic Thai experience. ”
We stayed at Santhiya Tree for a total of 3 nights. The road to the hotel is a little way off the main strip so a bike or car is definitely required. As you approach the hotel, you are presented with the view of the beautiful wooden structure of the main building. This is where we stayed, in a pool suite. The room was spacious, clean and included all the facilities required. The main highlight of course is the private pool that overlooks the mountains and river below. The photos don’t do it justice. There are a selection of villas available leading up to the (small) beach, each with their own private or shared swimming pools, but I never felt jealous of the guests staying in these due to the sheer quality of our room. The hotel grounds are beautiful and immaculate with groundskeepers regularly seen. While we never ate at the restaurants, we did have the breakfast which was wonderful. A large selection of western and Thai options available. I’d like to commend the staff who were excellent in every way. From check in to check out, every staff member on site delivered an amazing amount of care and quality service. I also want to shout out to the musicians playing traditional Thai instruments over breakfast. A lovely touch. If you are staying on Koh Chang, travel a little further south from the main town and you will be rewarded with a beautiful and relaxing experience.

Beyond stunning hotel and location ”
My husband and I stayed in a river view pool room and it was above our expectations for our first night away from our 3 children. The room, decor and view was stunning and the overall feel of the place just lovely, staff were wonderful too. Breakfast at the restaurant below our river view room was a delight, food delicious and plentiful and, again, stunning scenery in front of us. If we ever get the chance for a couples night in Koh Chang again, we will 100% choose this hotel; after a year sampling the delights of Thailand, the room and ambiance stood out and felt quite exceptional to us.

Amazing location, facilities and staff”
It has to be one of the nicest hotel stays in my 25 years in Thailand. Been to Santhiya Koh Chang 3-times and this time we stayed for a week. Breakfast is fantastic as are all meals. We never left the hotel, thanks in part to 7-Eleven deliveries of knick knacks.

Absolutely stunning resort ”
You just can’t stop taking pictures both during the day and in the night. The place looks amazing. The rooms are gorgeous with a Thai style wooden decoration. The rooms are clean and the staff was friendly at checkin, during our stay as well as at the restaurants. The beachfront has a restaurant as well. Here you can enjoy a very nice sunset.

Definitely one of the best resorts on koh Chang. I stayed in 2 rooms. First was the pool suite river view. Fantastic room with unbelievable views of the river and mountains. Good size. Private pool and bathtub facing the mountains. Nice size bathroom. Second was the pool access villa. Another fantastic room. Nice size semi private pool only 3 villa’s can use. Good size room with a great layout. Big bathroom with a custom built whirlpool bathtub. Great restaurants with delicious food. Brilliant big pool by the beach. Staff was excellent always friendly and very helpful. Fantastic service. Done everything they could to make a memorable stay. It was my birthday while I was their and they done a romantic dinner for me and my girlfriend by the beach. For me this resort is 10/10. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Best Resort and Best Location on Koh Chang”
Wonderful resort located on the best spot in Koh Chang. Friendly Staff even noticed it was my birthday and presented me with a cake. The ambiance of the whole place is fantastic. The main tibble structure is a work of art and the great decor continues in the rooms and gardens. Not the cheapest not the dearest but the best place to say.

We really liked this place! It was clean, calm and the staff was super friendly. All buildings and surrounding area were beautifully decorated and maintained. Breakfast was tasty and had good variety. The location is right next to the beach and they have a free shuttle to the main road & motorbike rental, if you want to visit other parts of the island. The only critisism is that thai food in the beach restaurant was average – we’ve had tastier and more beautiful plates of food elsewhere. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant is still super nice and they even had live music & dance performances throughout the evening. We’d come again!

A hidden gem outside noisy parts of Thailand. The staff was super helpful and friendly, whatever we looked for from a scooter rent or spa treatment was delivered in a timely manner. The surrounding garden was amazing and clean, we enjoyed our villa there.

The hotel located to proper location that suit for travelers who have their car cuz the the hotel is far for the main road. The room was clean. All sevice facilities were prepared for traveler. Every staffs were so nice, they treated customer suddenly as requested with service mind. Atmosphere is romantic. Outdoor spa is awesome connects seaside views. I've been raving about Santhiya Tree to anyone who will listen, since I checked in. We had booked a 4 night stay, and then 4 nights elsewhere, but we ended up cancelling our last 2 nights at our 2nd accom to come back to Santhiya. The staff were friendly and accommodating, beach was beautiful, and everything we needed to relax was there. We stayed in the pool suite water view (our first room in the newer (?) building was immaculate, and the other was also beautiful with some very minor signs of wear which I'm hopeful the resort will keep on top of). Felt totally private despite having neighbours on either side (never heard a peep from them). Breakfast buffet was delicious with a great view. The only thing I'd fault is not having more frequent transfers to/from the main street (although it's a pretty cruisy 15 min walk), and the price of the restaurant (especially when there is incredible food on the main street). Overall, conducive to total relaxation and I can't wait to go back.

If you planing your trip to koh Chang I highly recommend santhiya tree the staff one of the friendliest I've met. We stayed in the hideaway pool villa which is fantastic the food is good at the restaurant or tho not much to choose from but still good food the pools are nice best way to travel is by motorbikes or resort mimi van. The resort itself is very nice landscapes relaxing environment.
