It's all about that view...”

The property is quite fine. Everything was clean and in good condition. The food was good, but not outstanding. I booked a tent, but changed my mind after I got there and had a room instead. I'm sure that even though the tent seemed quite comfortable and clean, having a real bed with a bathroom and hot shower was worth the extra money. The downside of Sametnangshe Boutique is that there is very little to do. Unless you wanted to take a boat to James Bond Island (which I had done a couple of times before), you were a bit stuck. There is no pool, beach, shopping or much of anything else in the area. There isn't even a 7-11 or Family Mart convenience store around, which is pretty unheard of in Thailand. In Phuket, there are places where you can stand in one spot and see three 7-11s. But, the reason you go to Sametnangshe Boutique is the view, which is truly stunning. I could easily see paying for one of the high priced rooms just to watch the sunrise from my bed or bathtub.

Camping with one of the best views in Thailand”

We stayed in a tent there for one night. Overlooking at the beautiful islands in Phang Nga Bay, we watched the sky filled with hundreds of stars and a gorgeous sunrise after we woke up. The staffs are super friendly and nice. Highly recommend everyone to visit this resort.

Awesome view from the hotel”

The view of Samet Nangshe from the hotel is priceless. Hotel is located on a hill top overlooking the islands of PhangNga. The morning sunrise is a MUST TO DO THING and that's the reason why you stay in this hotel. You do not need to go to the viewpoint at the other hill because it is almost an identical view. The Samet Nangshe Boutique even have a small swimming pool, a hilltop cafe and restaurant for breakfast and meal. The room is pricey but the view make up for it.

Amazing views! Equally amazing service!”

This place exceeded expectations. Although my partner and I were not too excited about staying in a tent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, and the beautiful view. Nothing beats waking up in the morning, unzipping the tent door, and seeing the sun rise and shine on the beautiful view. We saw that the reviews says food is more expensive and there's a lack of restaurants around but once we had our first food and drinks order, I didn't even think about going anywhere because everything was amazing! I wish I had a chance to try everything on the menu, all drinks and desserts included. I personally spoke to one of the senior staff and she told me almost everything was homemade! The family makes everything! (The cheesecake and red velvet we tried were seriously better than any other cheesecake we've had in North America). The tents were clean, the bathrooms were also reasonably clean. The view is stunning and the place is perfect for relaxing!

It's a very nice view of Sametnangshe. Staff is very good, they have a very good service mind. I really like this hotel. If you are looking for a hotel in this area, I highly recommended this hotel.

Lovely experience - recommended overnight trip”

In the middle of nowhere, awesome views, very peaceful. A range of accommodation types - I stayed in one of the tents which was surprisingly comfy!!! Mini fan inside with power point. You have to pay 500B returnable deposit to insure the state of the tent. Mine was already ripped which they were happy to swap if I wanted. Clean toilets, didn't use shower block as only there overnight for the sunrise. Totally outside the boutique's control, sadly the sunrise wasn't as spectacular as they can be but still very cool and beautiful to watch the day break over the bay. Highly recommended. (Prices may be cheaper booking directly with them...worth phoning them - they are slow on email!)

Excellent Location.. super excellent views”

We had a sea facing villa and the views were to die for from our balcony.. we spent hours just gazing at the changing colors of the bay and photographs simply cannot do justice to the natural beauty of the place. The staff is chilled out and ever helpful to one's needs for ice bucket, extra glasses etc. The food in the restaurant is very nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast is simple with the basics in place.. no frills. Would definitely visit in the better seasons for night sky photography some day

Perfect room with stunning view”

Perfect place for relaxing. We stayed at the villa which everything worthed our money! The room facilities were very bew and clean. The real room was greater than in the picture. We loved the bathroom very much. Eventhough there were bugs at night because of slightly rain, you can use the bed nets to protect it. All you need is just wake up early before sunrise and enjoy the view! Definitely be back again!!!

Beautiful viewpoint”

We stayed in a tent, next time would prefer a room but it was a beautiful spot. Breakfast was good, facilities great, good pool. Decent food for dinner. But it gets quiet early and everyone is up early for the amazing sunrise. It is very reminiscent of Halong bay, Vietnam for reference. Probably only a onetime stay but worth it!

Fantastic view! Worth going for sure. We stayed 2 nights to fully take in the view, the sunrise, the sunset and hired a long tail boat to ourselves for one day for 2000 Baht. I recommend Deluxe Room number 10. Has 2 side of windows, balcony. You can see the full view from the balcony and from the bed. Fantastic.

Excellent”

Location is unbeatable - fabulous view. Staff was friendly. Although they couldn't find our booking at first, they managed to get us the room we book at last. One warning though, we stayed at the villa type and there were lots of bugs, insects and small lizards inside the room. I would rather suggest you stay in the other types of rooms instead if you are afraid of these things.

1. The day i book the Deluxe room was fully book, i e-mail to hotel many times that please inform me in advance incase has any Deluxe room available. (I want to upgrade my room from tent to Deluxe Room) day before arrival they confirm that no Deluxe room available. but upon check-in staff inform me there a Deluxe room available but the problem I already settle all my plans. 2. They didn’t inform or updated in website that they have construction on going on site. 3. Restaurant staff was very helpful (TIPS: Book your dinner table in advance) 4. Free shuttle up & down 5. Secluded ”

The place is nice, a little out of the way, but if you enjoy driving the local roads in Thailand, it’s great. Only negative is the amount of construction going on. The improvement will be great when finished, but not while your staying there.

Stunning views ”

Absolutely beautiful location with the most amazing views. Mix up with payment but staff were polite & helpful. Also arranged a boat trip round the bay for us. Limited amenities close by so one night was perfect for us & watching the sunrise from our room was an experience to remember

Room is a bit tiny for 3 people. Everything is cleaned. Food is delicious but the dessert is not that good. Recommended dinner for people who want to enjoy the view and beautiful sky.
