Noisy room next to main street”

Samet Inn is just next to Silversand Bar with plenty of food choices and drinks. Beach is near by but you can find better beach by a little walk further. Their room is clean and small but with poor sound proof, it hinders you from sleeping at night with the vehicle passing by right outside your window (would be better after 1am when less to none vehicle travelling around). If you are going to get dead drunk and just want to get a bed to sleep, this is a budget inn with good location for people with low budget. Hint: Ask for a room with window facing inwards and away from main street.

Near the beach and clean”

The hotel is near the beach about 20 meters (closes to Silver Sand Hotel). A lot of restaurants at the beach and also has a convenient store nearby. The room is clean. Towel and soap are available in the room. There are TV (with cable) and refrigerator too.

Indeed an INN”

Our stay was okay, since we were only in the room at night when its time to sleep. The Inn is at the main road with no one at night after 8pm, without security even. I think you get what you paid for, I dont complain of the quality of the room or whatever as this was a cheap hotel, but we were more concerned of the security, the lady only gave us a business card to call to in case of emergency if needs be. But all the more it has a good location, as it is situated a good minute walk to the beach, which is more important for us.

Good value of money, strongly recommended to solo traveller”

Please bear in mind this is budget hotel, so don't compare with 3 or 4 stars hotel. The location is perfect, near to tubtim beach where less ppl, and next to silver sand hotel where you can have party night after sunset. If course the facilities is limited, but it's ok if you only need a place for shower and sleep. The best part is you can check in anytime (as long as the room is ready, which is normally do). I check in at 10am, so I can spend whole afternoon at the beach without bringing all my luggage. So strongly recommended if you are not the fussy type of traveller.

Not Bad, Not Great”

I stayed for two nights. It was fine... not great, not bad. The staff are nice, but oftentimes not present. When I checked out there was nobody at the desk, or at the hotel. The owner/manager ws a very friendly man, but disappeared alot. Of course there are only a few rooms, so I'm sure he doesn't need to stay all the time. My room was over the main road, and so it was noisy in the daytime, but quieted down at night. I slept fine. The location is next to Silver Sands Resort, so it's convenient if you want to party. If you are just staying for a few days, and not picky about getting a pristene bungalow, or 5 star hotel, this place will suit your needs.

Acceptable”

Was supposed to stay 4 nights, but ended up only staying 2. Don't know what the standard is on Koh Samet, but this was low standard. Old, lack of cleaning, smelly, visible mold, noisy, etc etc... This is one step up, from sleeping on the beach. Spend the additional money, and get a proper room.

Reasonable Price , Nice Stay , Nearby Beach Location”

The room condition is satisfactory. Neat and Clean. It's suitable for a couple. Considering about Amenities , Include Refrigerator , TV , Towels , Soap and Wifi-Free Access There are no staff for 24 hrs. just on duty for Business Hours

On spot 29% cheaper. Other then that it is a good stay for reasonable price. Sleep and shower :)

You get what you pay for”

As I said, you get what you pay for. Overall a good place to stay, even though the hotel is just a few meters inland on a not so well paved road (muddy in rainy season)

Good location”

Very good location and friendly staff. The room was bit overpriced considering we stayed for a week and they didn’t clean the room at all.

Above average”

Good location close to the beach. The room was small, with about 5 of the 8 lights on the ceiling not working. The young girl at the front desk seemed more interested with her phone than with keeping the customers happy. The wifi worked well.

The hotel stairs are steep and dangerous due to no bannister and low ceiling, it is next to a building site and the rooms are not made or clean towels provided unless asked for.

It might not be appropriate with some travellers having more personal belongings because the security in there is quite weak. Nevertheless, it is still comfortable to sleep, and hotel owners are friendly to help you whenever you are in trouble.
