Our room is better than expectation, clean and has everything we needed! The staffs are very god and take care of ur very well. The beach in front (Aou Noynah) is quite small but private. Location is good not far from Saikaew beach. Too bad we have rain almost all day so recommend to come after rainy season! :)

Great place to relax”
Location is good , located in the quiet area, not too far from the pier. The room is big enough for 3 of us, pool side and near the beach, the bed is very comfy, however, it’s next to the local road so there is some noise from the vehicle. Food was great, good quality and tasty.

This is a nice and quiet place, very nice for relaxing! Staffs are nice and helpful too. The location is not close to the main area, but I like it! It’s very convenient to rent a motorbike next to the hotel, and look around! Highly recommended!

Tranquility and Peace”
Whenever I am in Koh Samet I start my stay at this resort.Perfect location on the Northern end of the island,beautiful clean and well kept beach ,calm crystal clear water,ideal for little ones,Rooms are clean and spacious,I always stay in a garden cottage which are situated in a well kept garden, Staff are pleasant and helpful and speak very good english,should you prefer the hustle and bustle of a big beach and shops etc.it is only a short distance from the village.

The hotel is completely isolated with very small beach in front of mainland. Hotel is very small. Restaurant not quite and very ordinary. Swimming pool dark not attractive at all with beton side. Small space to relax. All boats are coming in front of the beach. We decided not to stay there at first day. Not worth money.

Poor Resort.Not worth the time or money”
A main road goes through the resort which is very noisy. Our bedroom was right next to a building area so we did not get any sleep and the manager did not care. Materials were being unloaded at 5am. The beds are as hard as the floor so no sleep. The sea in front of the resort is not safe. Just 2 meters into the water and both my feet were stung with sea urchens which you could not see and there were no warnings even though that area is very common. There were no first aid kit and nobody gave me any treatment. They just found ot funny even though I was in a lot of pain. Also staff keep putting away the umbrellas and chair mats next to the pool. I gave up getting them back out. At breakfast most days you wait on yourself with a buffet. The mamager spends all day sat on his phone doing nothing. .the decent beach is a taxi drive away which will cost 400 baht per day and you have to pay 200 baht to get into the other beaches. We did not sleep all week and we will be seeking a refund.

Peaceful beach and friendly staff”
Please note that this is not really a review for Samed Club because the room we booked was accidentally taken by other guests so the staff upgraded us to an overwater villa at the sister property nearby. The staff has been very attentive and friendly, from the very beginning to the end. The beach is beautiful and quiet. The only downside is high food price at resort outlets but I guess it's no different from other resorts on the island. Overall, we really had a great time and will definitely come back here again.

Weekend getaway ”
I travelled with my adult son to Koh Samet for the weekend. The resort was nice with a swimming pool and it is directly located on the beach. We where looking at something away from the mass tourism and this resort was a great choice. The staff is super nice, the rooms are practical and clean. To the town it was a short taxi ride and also we did the snorkeling tour which was totally worth it. There are coffeshop and a small supermarket located next to the resort.

Quiet, Friendly and Relaxing”
We stayed for three days at Samed Club and we loved it. The beach is a bit small compared to the other breaches on the island, but it is quiet and private with no hawkers or tour groups. The whole staff was very attentive and everyone spoke English very well. They remembered our specific requests (vegetarian) and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We would gladly stay at this resort again. (Also, we didn't realize that hotel also provides ferry service from the mainland and back. Contact them ahead of time for details.)

This is the second time I stayed in this resort hotel. Apart from the location is not near the Saikaew beach, everything in Samed Club Resort is very good! Nice view, outstanding service, staff are cheerful and very helpful. Nice buffet breakfast in a beach-sided restaurant, tasty food. You can even enjoy massage on the beach side and play the pool game right next to the beach. Rooms are well-decorated and clean, good hygiene, wifi network is not very good in reception but if you go there for relaxation, guess it cannot affect you. Very spacious and big area of the swimming pool and rooms around, family is also suitable to be there. Full recommend!!!!!

Nice and cozy hotel on a quiet beach ”
My friends and I stayed in the Deluxe Hill rooms in the end of April 2010. Nice and cozy room, with a balcony which I liked very much. The hotel has its own beach, which is cleaned every morning. The beach is one of the quietest on the whole island. Most of the time we were the only people swimming, which is great!!! The staff was very nice and helpful. In general I enjoyed staying in Samed Club and would recommend it for everyone seeking for relaxation and wishing to indulge themselves in the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Nice stays in the Samed Club Hotel”
this is my first time to stay in the Samed Club hotel, only costs USD69 per night for deluxe hill room, the hotel has a very nice and private beach and outdoor swimming pool. People can easily rent motorcycle at very reasonable price, 400B per day (24 hours). Food is okay and relatively expensive compared the price in bangkok. Anyway, I will highly recommend this resort to my friends.

Quiet life on Ko Samet”
Samet Club resort is first and foremost a place for people in search of quiet and calm. The romantic couple, the old folks etc. For the young traveller, this hotel is a bit too quiet. Having said that, all the facilities are excellent, but the overall impression is that the hotel is somewhat over prized. Especially as if you want to go somewhere else, you need to spend and additional 400 baht on taxi back and forth.
