Relaxing couples break on Sairee beach”
Taking advantage of the quiet time in Thailand (borders being closed due to Covid), we visited Koh Tao for 4 nights. Decided to stay on Sairee Beach so we could walk to cafes, restaurants, dive shops, massage shop, etc. The hotel staff are lovely. I messaged them our ferry arrival time and a driver met us at the pier. Check in process was smooth - and we were shown to our room. We chose the Garden Villa, and were given room 1, right next to the pool. Bed was comfy. Bathroom clean. Bottled water provided every day. There's a couple of bars next door, so you don't have to walk far for a sunset drink. Restaurants about 5 mins walk away. The hotel provides free mosquito spray and sanitiser. Seemed to be lots of mossies right outside the room door, and the staff suggested to keep the doors closed in the late afternoon/evening (and use AC). That was the only downside. I should have bought a can of Baygon insect spray from the convenience store!! We booked our room without breakfast, as there's a few nice cafes on the beachfront a short walk away. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was very good. I enjoyed getting a fresh omelette daily. Definitely opt for the breakfast option when booking. It makes getting on with you day easier without having to search for a good cafe. Although, there were good cafes around Sairee, but save for lunch :) The beds and pillows were very comfortable! An overall easy check in, stay and checkout. You are in the heart of Sairee beach, but just out of the way of the noisy bars. Good to walk along the water into the town. 711 is on the corner for water etc. Choose here if you're wanting to stay in Sairee! I did my research :)

Transportation was waiting for us upon arrival at the Maehad pier. When we arrived the staff was incredibly welcoming and inviting. Our room was clean and bright. We rented a pool villa and while the pool is cool it was so nice after the heat of the day. Breakfast Buffett was very nice and well stocked. It was nice that it runs until 11am since sometimes in the mornings we can be a bit slow. I would definitely recommend this place.

Loved a lot of things at this hotel but most importantly was how friendly, accommodating and NICE the staff were. We stayed at a superior triple room but will upgrade next time. Definitely rent a scooter for 200 baht/day right away with the hotel. Thank you and we will be back later this year!

Everything was great except the bed in the room. Instead of a king bed there were just two single mattresses pushed together so my back hurt every morning from sleeping in the middle on this little bed crack. I think for this money it should be a proper bed. Stuff didn’t help me when I complained.
