    Paula is a friendly and helpful host. Very convenient location. Gorgeous views of bay and farm. Fun interactions with friendly sheep and cat. Very clean, well appointed and comfortable cottage. We highly recommend Roselle Farm Cottage for it's beauty and location on the Otago peninsula near the Blue Penguin and Albatross wildlife experiences and Larnach Castle.

    Things I like
    To start, Paula was wonderful. The location, surrounding, scenery, view, and accommodations were beautiful. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Every day, Paula would give you a bucket of treats for the sheep, and all you had to do was rattle the bucket and those sheep came running. It was a blast to feed and pet them. And, not to forget Oshi the cat, what a character he is, and such a love. The perfect location for your peninsula experiences. One day we were able to catch them moving a herd of sheep from one grazing area to another with the dogs. Between the commands given, and the dogs actions, it was poetry in motion, and a fun thing to experience.

    Paula was a wonderful host. She took us to feed the sheep and had great recommendations. The cats and sheep visited us often. Paula’s cottage was very comfortable and was in a central location to explore the peninsula. Highly recommend.

    Paula was an amazing host and we absolutely loved staying at Roselle Farm! She was lovely to chat with and shared several local recommendations, which we took on board and enjoyed. The place was perfect, clean and well maintained. Bring on the farm and seeing the sheep every day was a delight.

    “We were able to completely relax in this lovely retreat from the cities. Loved all of it!”

    Loved how close it was to the Royal Albatross/Penguins/Wildlife. Loved the baby sheep. Loved how quiet it was. Loved the self sufficiency. Loved the homey feel. Loved the back porch. Loved the view.
    Things I don’t like
    I loved this, but not everyone will, so forewarning: this property is on a working sheep farm. If you don't like the smell of sheep or barns, if you don't like aggressively friendly cats, if you don't like sheep bleating at 7am, this may not be a good fit for you.
