While the hotel shows a bit of age here and there, it more than makes up for it with its charm, comfort, and incredibly kind staff. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. Orignally booked for 1 night but stayed for 2 nights due to change of plans. We had an enjoyable stay, Hotel very clean ,friendly,helpful staff. Pool was very large and refreshing. Good breakfast basic Thai style and evening food availble from a good selection menu with cold beers. A massive hotel showing its age but a very pleasant stay and woukd recommend.
A massive hotel that was obviously once very grand. Unfortunately those days are long since past. You get the idea as soon as you step inside. A cavernous lobby which is empty of people. The smell of the place is not one of cleanliness but one of decay. My wife and I booked a room expecting (as you would) a large bed. Instead we got two singles and were asked to pay more for the same room with a large bed. The first thing I noticed is that the fridge didn't work. It took several requests before we got a new fridge., but eventually it arrived. The room was spacious but everything was aged and worn, including a broken chair. There were not even tea/coffee making facilities, the first time I have found this in ANY half decent hotel anywhere in the world. The bathroom consisted of an aged shower-over-bath. The bath was actually peeling the plastic coating. There was obvious bacterium in the surrounding tiles. When we took a shower the pipes screamed and squealed throughout. The sink was badly stained and the taps old and dirty. The toilet seat was loose. There was no water nozzle to wash yourself after toilet and the toilet paper was in a holder behind me. When I flushed the toilet the water leaked from the flushing mechanism onto the bathroom floor. There was only one single power point in the whole spacious room. Breakfast was quite adequate for the first two days, but on the third day there was only toast and coffee available. Said coffee was of the instant variety with powdered creamer. The swimming pool was good. Huge and clean, but lacking any shaded area. But the whole place was lacking any atmosphere as there were barely any guests and it is hardly surprising. The staff were mainly pleasant and as helpful as they could be in such circumstances, but one or two acted like they couldn't care, which I think reflects on the entire hotel. In the huge carpark which was once covered in shade-cloth, the cloth is now all but ripped away and only remnants remain hanging down. Cheap price, very poor quality! Book at your own peril.
The hotel is a bit outside the center but it's near the bus station. The staff are very nice and the hotel is very clean. I did not have any problem at all.

The spacious common area in front of the lobby features high ceilings and glass walls designed to maximize natural light, creating a unique and elegant atmosphere. The interior is coordinated using teak wood for sofas and throughout the walls and floors, giving a sophisticated sense of luxury without any pretentiousness. The guest rooms, in stark contrast to the opulence of the common areas, are simple yet furnished with choices and decorations that follow the theories of luxury hotels from the 1990s, ensuring comfort. The angled bay window designs provide a sense of spaciousness beyond the numbers, while also offering excellent views from the windows of the upper floors, ensuring privacy. The bathrooms are fully tiled in marble and feature large bathtubs with gas heating to warm the body thoroughly. This is an excellent hotel boasting elegance and facilities that befit Karasin’s flagship hotel, making it highly recommended for everyone.
