After an 8 hour drive from Prachuap Kiri Kahn both my wife and I were road weary and hungry. This resort had been recommended by a friend. I am glad we stopped here. The meal was fabulous, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and most of all the staff were very attentive and really friendly. I will stay here again in the future.

Our stay at Praepimpalai was enjoyable with the assistance of very helpful and friendly staff. The availability of affordable massage and spa treatments helped us enjoy our stay at this resort even further. The high speed internet and comfortable large rooms were definite plus points and we would stay at Praepimpalai again should we return to Kamphaengphet.
Excellent accommodation between Nakhon Sawan and Kamphaeng Phet (the ride is slightly too long for a day cycling, so the malee resort makes an excellent stop). Traveler impressions of Kamphaengphet
The best of the location is the historical park of Kamphaeng Phet. I almost prefer it to Sukhothai: the ruins of the temples in the forest with almost no visitors are a must.

this is a small town that full of historical story , people are frriendly and helpful as well as the most famous kuay kai is a kind of banana that is so sweet and unlike banana in other places.
My favorite small town in Thailand, well worth the trip up from Bangkok. The ancient temple ruins, slowly reclaimed by nature, are fascinating.

we stayed here because we were travelling home from the north of thailand. we found it was in a very convenient location and was well staffed and very comfortable i would stay here again for sure. there is a good view of the river from the front of the hotel and a beautiful temple behind. parking is also available opposite the hotel.

Maiyai Resort is a bit away from everything - and according to the staff about 4 km's from the Historical Park of Kamphaeng Phet.
