Room - We booked the Jr Suite which comes with a bathtub and separate shower area that functions as a steam room. Also has a dressing table that comes with Dyson Hair Dryer. The room comes with King bed and fully equipped with modern facilities. Fully stocked coffee/tea area with wine glasses, mini fridge (but not cold). Coffee machine. They also provide plates and cutlery for your convenience to eat in the room. You can control the curtains and lights using a master control connected to an app. View - all rooms come with mountain view, the highest is 5th floor. On the 3rd floor, there is a connecting area to the breakfast executive club (the original breakfast place on 1st floor is under renovation). Location - it is right beside first world hotel, connected by a sheltered way walk, less than 5 mins walk. It’s at a very good location, with just a short 5-10 mins sheltered walk to the mall, indoor theme park and outdoor theme park, cable car terminal, and cinema. Complain 1: There is a connecting walkway on the 3rd floor to the casino - but it is only for Platinum members. So you have to all a big round via the mall to enter the casino if you do not have Platinum membership. This is a big disadvantage for hotel guest that want convenient access to casino. Breakfast - it is Ala carte order, served quality food like lobster Nasi Lemak and Abalone Porridge. Had fresh fruits and nice coffee and tea. It’s worth getting the hotel package with breakfast. Please check that you receive your breakfast vouchers upon check-in. Room Service - it takes long (up to an hour) but the food was great! We had 3x of room service and the food is always excellent. It serves fantastic Chinese foods. Complain 2: There is no restaurant within the hotel that you can have a meal at. Genting Palace is at level 3, but when I arrived there wanting to dine in, I was informed they only served platinum guest. Not sure if true. We have to walk out of the hotel to find dine-in options. Reception - check-in service was terrible. I read similar reviews before booking and my experience proved the same. They did not explain clearly about wifi or breakfast location. I did the check-in at level 1 and was directed to go level 3 to collect the keys. The reception seems quite lost and not very familiar with check-in process. Please check that you get your breakfast vouchers upon check-in! I did not check and when I realised later I was missing vouchers for the last day breakfast, I went to reception to ask for help. The reception said she will check and get back, but did not. I ended up not being able to redeem breakfast on the last day, which is worth about 200Rm for 2 pax. Most hotels will record based on room number but not this hotel. Please check carefully. The reception is not very helpful, they don’t seem to care about guest experiences. Terrible experience at check-in. The housekeeping however was very nice. They provided bottle water and ensure that the room was cleaned daily. Helpful and always greet the guest when they walk by. They served a light snack during tea time to the rooms. Not sure if this is for all rooms or suite only. Complain 3: Bad Service from reception. And there are also no perks if you are a hotel guest that room the suite room. You just get the room only, with breakfast. Unlike other hotels, they provide exclusive privileges for suite guest but not this hotel. Crockfords should provide more exclusive privileges for their suite guest for the price that they are being charged for. It’s an expensive hotel but you don’t get good service. I hope to see improvements in the next stay.

Our stay at Crockfords Hotel was truly amazing! The service was excellent, and the staff were always attentive and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a luxurious and comfortable stay. One of the delightful touches was receiving fresh cookies every evening, which made our stay even more special. If you feel cold in the room, don’t worry—they provide a heating fan upon request, which was a thoughtful and useful amenity. Room for Improvement While the hotel experience was fantastic, the restaurant options could be improved. There is no buffet, and the menu choices are quite limited, with no dedicated kids’ meals. The dinner options are only Chinese cuisine, which may not cater to all preferences. However, SkyAvenue is easily accessible, offering a variety of restaurants to choose from. Transport Issue We faced a small issue with transportation. A day before checkout, the receptionist assured us that taxis were available 24/7 and there was no need for advance booking. However, when we checked out, we were informed that no taxis were available. Luckily, we managed to get a ride via Grab. It would be great if the hotel could improve its transportation assistance for guests. Overall Experience Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The free shuttle service was very convenient, making it easy to access SkyAvenue and the indoor theme park. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay in Genting Highlands, Crockfords Hotel is an excellent choice!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crockfords Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and luxuriously comfortable, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, and their hospitality truly made me feel at home. Every aspect of the hotel, from the elegant atmosphere to the exceptional service, exceeded my expectations. Everything was simply awesome, and I would highly recommend Crockfords Hotel to anyone looking for a perfect 5-star experience.

“Birthday celebration for dad’s 71st. Wonderful stay”
I booked 2 superior king rooms for a staycation for my dad’s 71st birthday through agoda. The response of the hotel through the app was speedy. It was easy to get to the carpark although much of the information was obtained by searching on the internet. Would be nice for such info to be provided by the hotel before hand. The check in process was speedy. We were not offered the welcome drink but weren’t too fussed. The rooms were neat, huge and comfortable. Clean (until I spotted a mini cockroach behind the sofa in the morning). Toilets were big, and clean. Amenities top notch. We had complimentary birthday deco in the room, but I wasn’t told which room was for my dad. Ended up I placed him in the wrong room initially and had to move him. Would have been nice if this was told to me, but not a big problem. One of the rooms, had a mini bar that was not topped up. The housekeeping staff then walked into my room without first knocking on the door and didn’t seem to know what to do when we were staring at each other in shock. Butler service was prompt and efficient. We enjoyed the little surprise birthday cake, that was good. Despite some minor problems above I would have otherwise rated this a very enjoyable experience . However, the next day’s breakfast experience at the executive lounge almost ruined the whole mood that we were in. The staff are not as well trained and hygiene is suspect. I found hair in the sambal of the Nasi Lemak and one of the knifes at the table had remnant food on it. The Nasi Lemak was promptly replaced. When I pointed out that the knife was dirty , the waiter tells me that he has escalated to the manager but never came back with a replacement knife. The food quality is horrendous - stale peanuts, dried cucumber, the noodles were instant noodles that were bland. Seafood used for the fried noodles were from frozen and again bland. I fed back to the manager directly as I was tired of waiting for my replacement knife , and he tried to ‘recover’ by offering me high tea- completely missing the point. I would have rated the room stay as a 8-9/10 , the restaurant is a negative 5 of 10- I wouldn’t go there even if it were free. Are we happy overall to return, most definitely. But do take a short walk to the eateries outside for food.
