When I arrived at the hotel for the first time, I was surprised with the facility of the hotel. Usually, hotel that is certified as three star hotel has no swimming pool, but this hotel has it. This hotel provide facility of four star hotel with the price of two star hotel. Beside that, the hotel also has a good location near waterfront Kuching with the view of Sarawak...

The location is very strategic. Recommended to those who like to travel by foot as many tourist attractions that are within walking distance. Just a bot ride away (RM1.00/ride) you can visit the Fort Margherita for historical experience and Gersik Village for some "kek Lapis" (Sarawak traditional snack/cake). Shopping malls are also very near to the hotel. Most importa...

I spent 5 days at the Harbour View, or HV as it is known locally. On check in the staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was clean and well maintained. Rooms are serviced daily with 2 complimentary bottles of water replaced each day as well. The rooms have a small fridge, TV, and the aircon worked perfectly. HV is located 1 street back from the Sarawak Rive...

Affordable place. I did indicate a non-smoking room during my booking but the room that I got only level 1 had a very strong smoke smell plus some guest threw a cigarette butt from the upper level and it landed on the awning/roof outside the room window. The basin and shower probably need maintenance, as the hot water coming out of the tap was crazy hot or way too cold...

A work related trip flew us to Sibu and stayed at the hotel. Arrived in the evening and thankful that check in was a breeze - and got upgraded to another room was a bonus. I longed to visit Kuching and found Jinhold S. Apt. the location of residence and point of departure to visit Sarawak. It is located near a market of various needs. The staff are helpful and cooperative. If I visit Kuching again, I will select Jinhold for a residence. With my regards to you all.

This is first time staying in Win Hotel and I can say that this hotel surpassed RH Hotel in terms of environment and cleanliness. Judging from the size of my room, the price is relatively cheap. I have few suggestion could make this hotel the best hotel in Sibu. 1) Toiletries are okay (body shower gel, shampoo, dental care) - should include cotton bud and sanitary bag...

I will rate this hotel 8.5/10. The facilities are simply so awesome. The only thing I regretted was only stay for one night. Frankly speaking, I seldom give so high rate for such hotel as the hotel really make me feel so comfortable. The first step I stepped in to the lobby, I felt grand and with the friendly receptionist provides efficient service, I got my room key v...

Enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was large and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Only minus marks was that it is a bit far the river from and the shuttle was not always running. Taxis are good and easy to get though. Also wifi was a bit slow. Finally must just say that the people of Kuching are the friendliest and most hel...

The property is in a strategic location as it's just walking distance by the Waterfront, Main Bazaar and the Old Street. I was staying at the basic room and it has everything that I need with the attached bathroom and some space to get around in the room. They also provide extra electrical socket that was super helpful as I also had to do some work in-between my trip...

Every staffs treat you as a friend, and I mean every staffs (not only the boss). Feel free to talk to them to get some local tips, or where is the best place for eating out. The only poor thing to be highlight here is the room of quadruple with attached bathroom, leaking from the ceiling can be annoying and disgusting.

For over 4 weeks this has been the hostel I returned to after making trips. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very nice and helpfull. The dorm is very spacious, can definitely recommend them: you get excellent value for your money! The entire place is clean and the laundry service is just excellent as well: washed & dried clothes within 4 hrs for the standa...

Pros: Central location; a supermarket close by; simple complimentary breakfast; the ensuite room was clean, comfortable and private; the staff were friendly; good air conditioning and hot water system in the ensuite. Cons: It could get noisy in the hallway with some guests. Could do with a storage cabinet/shelf in the room. What stood out: The ensuite in this BnB ...

Booked a bed in a 10-bed dormitory, but upon checking in, was informed by the staff that there's some issue with the booking with Agoda. In the end, they couldn't give me a bed in the 10-bed dormitory and instead, they prepared a last minute single private room for me at the attic. I was worried at first, but then I realize that the 10-bed dormitory was all filled with...

I was in love with this place the minute I walked in. The Owner Franky is very helpful. One of the best place I have ever stayed my whole life. In my opinion, everyone should spend at least once in their life in this special hotel. You will understand why once you have tried it. Let me kept the secret and myth that will blow you away. I will be back there soon!

Stayed with Marco Polo mixed dorm for 4 nights and then returned for another night before I flew out from Kuching. Have to say it is one of the best value for money guesthouses I have ever stayed. Good location (10mins walk to waterfront/main bazaar/carpenter street, located near the main gate cat statue of Jalan Padungan, 5mins away from the legendary Noodle Descenden...

Check In Lodge has been one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had in Southeast Asia. What really made them stand out is their staff. Anna was always so helpful in giving our group advice and tips on things to do and Nida was always available via WhatsApp if we were not in the hostel and had a quick question. The free breakfast is basic but filling and the accommodati...

I was very satisfied with the staff they were so friendly and helpful. The guesthouse also had a big information board that state all thing that we need to know for example taxi fare, bus waiting station and interesting location to visit with complete entrance fee.The room also very clean and big enough (mine was single with shared bathroom)

I stayed here for many days in the 4 bedroom female dorm in the 2nd floor. I was lucky to have the dorm to myself most of my stay, l enjoyed the quiet and space to myself very much. Love the freedom that the staff allows us guests, and grateful for the convenient toasts for breakfast. The cleaning aunty is also very friendly, helpful, and does her best to keep the plac...

Counter staff very helpful. Checked in and paid RM50 deposit with receipt given(must show to get back RM50 when checkout). Very fast check in. Helpful staff. Room cleaned as described. Aircond, TV, water heater all work well. Room 209 no window yah (best for haze season) Very cosy chair and rather big table provided for 1 person stay. Towel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, ...

John, the owner, isn't around lots but he's got 2 other businesses across the alley and checks in frequently. He doesn't keep the hostel very full and the beds are fully curtained/walled off so it's a pretty quiet place to rest after exploring the many things there are to do in the area. John helped me to book transportation and kept the same bed for me with several c...

sangat best stay dekat hotel ni. boleh tambah kenalan with another guest. staff friendly and their services very awesome. strategic location because it near with waterfront and shop lots. no need to worries when you feel hungry at midnight. gerai burger betul2 depan hotel. :)

Awesome place, very close to two of the shopping centres. Staff very helpful. Stayed here before and after my trip to national parks. Many toilets and showers so never had to wait. Cable tv was there so I was able to watch the NBA finals. Only faults I can suggest are: 1. breakfast consisted of two pieces of toast and a cup of tea or coffee. But included breakfast of...

I stayed in the four-bed hostel dorm during low season and i happened to be the only female guest for two nights there. I would say that Coco House is one of the best hostel i have stayed in and i have been to a lot. The common area where the living room and dining area are is comfortable and nice. However i can imagine that it would be crowded during high peak season...

The location of the hostel is perfect, walking distance to most of the attractions. The staff Andy provides wonderful traveling informations. 10 minutes walk to waterfront. Thanks to...

1.For the price point i would say it was very worth it and i managed to get a single room at a very affordable price. 2.The location of the hotel, it was placed (i would say) at the centre of the town. You can actually find the nearest mall just by walking or you can use grab or taxi to go there. 3.The thing that really satisfy me about this hotel is about the cleanlin...

Booked this place for my parents and they were satisfied with the place. The room was small but very clean. The TV in the hotel room was small as well but it was okay, The TV doesn't have TV channels but you can watch movies as the staff will provide a HDD/pendrive containing movies. The Wi-Fi in the hotel is fast, so you can stream movies or watch netflix/youtube. Co...

It's quite beyond my expectation, I did actually booked for only 2 persons a room, but I went there with 4 of us, when they saw us, they gave us a bigger room that I didn't expected! I was happy to their efficiency and friendly! They have nice breakfast also! But the only thing that they made me disappointed is slow Internet, it's really slow until I can't even browse ...

Clean, quiet and parking space is plenty. If you forgot to include breakfast in your booking, or want to experience local breakfast, there is a kopitiam nearby (in a row of shophouse) not far from the Methodist Church. It is a non-halal and caters Sarawak renowned kolok-mee beside other local delicacies. Walking distance 3 mins from the hotel

The hotel had far exceeded my expectations of its service as they had a wide variety of dining options, fast Internet service, airport shuttle transfers, flexible arrangements for tours in Sarawak and Kuching city centre, affordable dining and shopping options and quick room service.

i stayed for only a night but i was totally impressed from the minute i entered the small lobby of the hotel. i was greeted well, check-in was efficient even though i did not get the non-smoking room i requested for as it was not ready. i was reassured by the reception staff that should the room not be to my expectations, to call and they will relocate for me. i was th...

Rooms are very modern, clean, very spacious and one can feel like in a 5-star hotel in these rooms. Its nice to enjoy the rooftop bar, they have a coupon for an ice-lemon-tea. Those who want a swim, should not go to that hotel. The pool is a small wading pool for small children, not at all a pool. Breakfast buffet very good with lots of choices. The hotel is not really...

I check in after checking out from another hotel that didnt have what I need. The location is not as near as the other hotels due to my meetings was mainly around the airport area. But this is Kuching, so the longest ride was just around 20 mins. No eateries nearby, so you are much dependent on the hotel's food. This unfortunately due to the very new hotel was not up t...

This hotel oozes of charm and hospitality and it captures the true essence of a boutique hotel. They have converted an old two-story shop lot into a peaceful oasis while keeping the original architecture and incorporating a modern touch to the rooms. The small size of the hotel allows for very high level of service with even the breakfast being very personalised. The ...

Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable and the room was spacious. I travelled with my 11 year daughter. The shower has a good supply of hot water and excellent water pressure. Housekeeping a bit erratic as they came on the first day but not the second (we stayed 2 nights). There is an electric kettle provided but no coffee or tea and no mini fridge. Location is go...

Was disappointed when first reached as what I booked was City Facing Suites and when I open the curtain, it was showing low shophouses building. So my hubby told me it is what I booked. Maybe I have too high expectation! Anyway, Batik Boutique Hotel has a good location although it is not easy to be spotted. Good location in the sense as it is near Shopping Malls (EG...

Hence, you do the outdoor activity such a canopy walk, night trail and etc. with very friendly and informative guider our trip with the guide of Ramona and she's the best. The best thing is the. The unit is facing swimming pool and beach. We enjoy the sea view from the balconies . It is very quiet, suitable for family with young kids. Ideal place to relax and getaway from the city. We loved our stay at this little comfortable 2-room apartment that faces the waterfront. The owner of the apartment was very thoughtful and had provided a washer, hangers and even a comfortable lounge chair that our father loved very much - he was always sitting there enjoying the view; he enjoyed the moments best when boats sped by. We highly recommend this lovely pl...

Pros: Friendly owner. Air conditioner works well. There are lots of extra blankets and matress available. Location is great. The quality of matress at the living room is great!! Can fit 15 people. We really enjoyed our stay at the Miri Marriott in Sarawak. It was very relaxing and the staff made us feel so welcome. We used room service for dinner one night and the delivery time ...

Great staff, especially Gillian, Celestine (hope we got your name correct), , Hasya and another lady whom we spoke to. They were helpful and friendly, were always there whenever we needed help. Booked 2 nights at the Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa, for the beginning and end of our Gunung Mulu Summit Trek. The rooms are well-kept and the resort is filled with lush greenery. It was a pleasant stay for me, my parents and my 2 sisters. The place located at center of the city and just next to Sarawak Museum and a shopping mall. And also giving a great assistance during my stay! The manager who is assisted us is very friendly and knowledgeable. Like us, do not know about kuching sarawak he was briefed us in details! For sure i will coming back to stay here again on coming CNY 2019!!

The house was spacious, simple yet beautifully decorated, and actually looked better in real life than on photos. Overall, we had a great stay at the house. However, unlike other places, bedroom keys are not provided. We accidentally locked the bedroom door and had to spend half a day with the owner trying to find the correct key. Also, the AC in the living room isn...

Very suitable for groups. As there's no one living on the same floor, we can be as loud as we want. Quite clean and spacious, theres 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen is equipped with rice cooker, microwave, oven, fridge, pots, induction cooker, kettle and utensils. Theres a huge flatscreen TV with astro. The only downside for us is the pool, as we can't be too loud as...

I have to cancel the booking last minute because i was being told that i have to pay extra money for the service (total Rm 289/night) while my booking at agoda should be only RM 245 (included taxes). I booked so many times from Agoda and never got charged that much money, only extra rm10 for tourism tax when checked in.

My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay here. The decoration, ambiance, cleanliness and in-house facilities are perfect and definitely feel comfy and homey. It's nicely located at town area so you wont have much problem to look for a place to eat and to shop. Would totally recommend this place!

Comfortable house that provide a lot of amenities, spacious room suitable for a large group of family. Not more than 10 people. Would recommend for those who are looking for a place to stay for convocation week or a trip to Jong's crocodile or Semenggoh Orang utan.

Great experience staying here in Sibu Mantis Villa , the environment are excellent , especially if your looking for a quiet place just to chill with friends and family . Facilities here are also complete with wifi , air-conditioning , hot water showers as well as a full complete kitchen .

Very well designed, instagrammable place. They provide all the things you need, washing machine, cutleries, washing powder, plates, glasses and cups, its complete. I just wished that they gave an extra card for parking. We used two cars, but only one car can park at the upstairs parking despite there being soooo much space there. I also wished they informed about the...

Location is great, nearby to many food court and massage centre if you are into it. Facilities such as swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna room is available.
