Pays de la Loire hotels & accommodations

When we arrived at the hotel for late check-in, the front desk was obviously closed. But they emailed earlier the steps to be taken to get the card key by using a machine at the side of the hotel building. We got the key and went to the room but was horrified at the shoes, boots and mess in the room. It was an occupied room. We had to call them (the emergency number) a...

This wasn't the first time that I stayed at this hotel. I can't remember how many times already though. The hotel is really clean. The staff are friendly. I think the best part of this hotel is the location. It's located right at the city center. The tram is just a few steps away. Very convenient to go anywhere.

We have stayed in Campanile hotels before but this is the first time we have stayed in one which, to me, was more of a motel. The accommodation is away from the main reception, restaurant etc and I don't why, but this 'threw' me on checking in. The room was adequate, shower looked new so very clean etc, kettle etc in room, so all you would expect, but it was quite d...

Although offered ice from staff, a small fridge in the room for other drinks/snacks would've been more convenient. Couldn't shut the door without using the one key provided too, which meant having to rely on my partner to open/close each time I went out. Very basic hotel. Just ok for one night, while passing through town.

Good price with a shower in the room too. It was a little tight but for the money, very good. We did note that the sheets did not look clean although we did not complain as did not notice until got into bed. There were dirty footprints all over the sheets at the foot of the bed which I think may have been put at the end so that it would not notice. It wasn't that th...

I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY ARE NOT CHANGING TOWELS AT LEAST ONCE DURING A PERIOD OF 5 NIGHTS WITH 4 PEOPLE IN EACH ROOM, WHY ARE'NT THEY CLEANING THE GARBAGE BINS AND ALL THOSE MISSIONS ARE MADE BY THE PEOPLE WHO STAY IN THE ROOM, YOUR SITE DOES NOT SHOW THAT WE THE RENTERS SHOULD DO IT !!!

I had the pleasure staying here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again when in Nantes. The only staff I met were on the reception and they were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, a couple of small niggles such as frayed towel & the hanger on back of bathroom door unusable as it was hanging off but everything else was good. Bed was clean and comfortable, ...

I'm pleased to recommend to tourists or business travelers to stay at Appart'City Nantes Viarme. Best cozy place to stay, it's quiet, good breakfast, professional friendly staff, great location to get around the town by all means, tramway and city bus is located just a minute walk!

I dus not pay a lot of money. So I get what you usually get for such a price. And yes there is no airco and it was very hot. I can get to terms with that. But it seems no one really cares. Dishwasher dus not work properly. Internet weak. 3 lamps out of order. All different cups, glasses. Thát are little things that make the difference between functional and nice.

A comfortable stay and a great option if attending an event at the nearby La Cité des Congrès de Nantes (10 minutes walk). The hotel isn't quite as good as it looks in the photos, but it's comfortable. Minor complaints from my stay include blown light globes in my room that hadn't been replaced, coffee/tea supplies weren't restocked during my 9 day stay, no bowls in th...

This a little gem. A small boutique hotel constructed within an old church to the highest of standards. We particularly wanted a room with a round stained glass window and our request was granted. Although a little on the small side our rom was extremely pretty, clean and beautifully appointed. It was very modern and provided everything we needed. We were most impr...

The Adagio City Apartments in Nantes were a true surprise - with all mod cons and a clean open plan design, we enjoyed daylight all day and a view of the canals and train station without being close enough to hear either. Friendly staff, short walk to the Cahteau and shopping districts. Highly recommended and good value - we will seek out their other locations.

Finding the chateau was surprisingly difficult, largely due in the end to a Route Barre on the road we needed to take. Fancois, the owner, was a fabulous host but we rather unwisely upgraded ourselves to a "Luxe" room and ended up paying rather a steep supplement over the "Garden Room" we originally booked. All extras including meals are quite expensive but the experie...

Very small and dark room. Good noise insulation when the window is closed, but then the room gets really stuffy. Tiny bathroom but clean, and good to have it ensuite. Smell of sewage from the drains. common area closes at 9pm, which is a shame if you want to spend some time awake beofre going back to your small room. It’s ok if you just want a cheap bed for the night...

Every inch of the room is optimized. It's the smallest room I've ever been in and they manage to fit 3 beds! The shower is just too small, you can hardly move. Breakfast is pretty good but not included in the room rate that is way too high for a budget hotel. Location is really bad, there is absolutely nothing near the hotel.

The room was clean and tidy and overlooked the pool. The bathroom was nice and stylish but the wall that joins the bedroom is opaque glass but is still quite see through so make sure the person you're sharing with is a very good friend! The only downside to the stay was that, on checking out, although we had paid online when booking we were asked to pay, we explained...

I found my stay at the Kyriad hotel to be very relaxing, comfortable, and after looking around the area, very central. The room comfort was very good. Beds were a little hard, but have definitely slept on worse. The television has no English channels which I find quite annoying in this day and age. Even to have a few options in English would be appreciated. It took 15 ...

Only required a room for one night before heading to Paris on the train the next day, and this place was fine. The room was large and clean, the shower was great, and the instructions for check-in and out (reception is only open in the morning) were in English and French, thankfully! Also had free wi-fi. make sure you know how to get to the train station or aiport usin...

Angers was a discovery, a great place to start our exploration of castles of the Loire valley. Hotel Continental was definitely a highlight for us. We were given a truly beautiful room on an upper floor at the end of the hotel, with French doors opening out onto the street on two sides, giving us a wonderful view of the varied and charming architecture. The room was st...

A late booking having been let down with an Airbnb arrangement. We were able to take the last available room which was clean prepared and well stocked with all that we needed. Staff were very accommodating and enjoyed a sense of humour. We speak very little English and they were very patient.
4-star hotels in Pays de la Loire

As a family with a small dog we were so impressed with our stay and evening meal so much that we are looking forward to staying again in a few weeks time. Fabulous, wonderful location, staff and amazing food; definitely will recommend this hotel to everyone. Outstanding!

Fontevraud is a great place to visit for its historical and modern exhibitions; that you are able to stay there as well makes a visit to the hotel truly special. Guests are at liberty to explore the whole site through the night and there is a sense that you're sleeping over at a museum, only with no teachers! The restaurant was not open for dinner on the Monday we stay...

We used this hotel as a stop over in Saumur on our way back to the Ferry. Slightly hard to find as the Sat Nav sent us down a cul de sac. There are road signs though we missed them. Find the hotel and they will help you park. There is free parking next to the hotel but we needed to be shown where. The Staff are brilliant - the rooms fun and comfortable. It is literally...

I have stayed at Residhome several times. For me this hotel is a good value option when coming to Nantes by car for business or overnight stay before taking a train in the morning. It is no far from the city centre but still not the best option if your program is visiting Nantes by foot. I find it an easy going hotel with efficient staff, perfect if you want an easy ac...

We stayed over 2 nights as we had some other errands in France and then needed to go back to London. This is perfect and easy to reach in car from London in one go and also is located very close to the high way entry/exit which. The hotel itself is quaint and lovely, very cosy and we would go back for sure.

I would definitely recommend the Mercure Angers Centre, and am already looking at booking again for next year. Although the location is about 20 minutes walk from the station, it is located next to the beautiful Jardin de Place, and there are many shops and cafes within a few minutes walk. The breakfast was excellent and the room clean and large enough for 2 adults and...
