Corsica Region hotels & accommodations

charming place, ticked all the boxes, however a little expensive.Rooms were a little small but very clean and well maintained.Had room which shared a sea view balcony with room. this was great value as compared to having a sea view from your own balcony. The other party was hardly ever home when we wanted to use the balcony....alternatively you can meet some good friend...

I spent two single nights here, a week apart, in December. The long, sandy beach 250 m away still gives the place a relaxed ambience and the staff certainly seem happy to be working there. Out of season the Campo dell'Oro is outstanding value for money and the restaurant, though more expensive, is worth the extra. Highly recommended. Just one note: I've seen (and hear...

Excellent. On arrival we wre given an upgrade to a very superior room - large with a great bathroom as well. Wonderful view across the bay to Calvi. Too cold to try the pool but it looked very nice. We paid for the half board option on arrival. The dinner was described as 'gastronomique' and truly was. Lost count of the courses but all in a totally different class...

Rooms are basic, but well laid out. Bathroom/shower is modern and spacious. Docked 1 star on cleanliness for the use of carpet in hallways/rooms (despite the hotel being brand new). Location is great if you are flying through Bastia as it is near the airport. Also, it is conveniently located near a large supermarket. Re: facilities, despite having a hammam and a sauna...

We had booked a two-room appartment for six. On arrival the reception was closed and there was no key for us. After calling the emergency phone for 20 minutes, Cedril came out (he was already there) an pretended the booking was for the following day. After showing him the confirmation he has sent he pretended he didn't understand. Then he gave us a key an disappeared. ...

We stayed at Casa Alta for two nights. Our bedroom was small and simple, but adequate. The bathroom is very small – if you are over 6’ 6” check it out to see if you will fit! Breakfast is simple, juice, yogurt, bread and coffee, but the bread is very fresh (it is nice to wake up to the smell of freshly baking bread). There are three friendly cats in residence. Vincent ...

We stayed at this b&b in October and it was great. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She has a dog and cats and they are very friendly as well. All rooms have fantastic views over the mountains and ocean. The rooms are very clean and big. The pool is nice too. Breakfast is basic.

This hotel, although very basic, suited our requirements, close to (or in) the centre of Bastia, close to the Bastia railway station to Ajaccio, our next destination. Our room on the first floor had a window looking down the small street opposite to the big community park and the sea, the street on which the hotel is situated was very busy all night and noisy, our onl...

Hostellerie de l’Abbaye is conveniently located close to the older part of Calvi. The outside of the building has a pleasing older ambience, while the interior is fully modern. The bedroom and bathroom are good sized. There is plenty of hot water for the bath or shower (note that there is no shower curtain on the tub, so showers are sit-down affairs). We did not try th...
Cheap places to stay in Corsica Region

The hotel is in a superb location with spacious rooms, we had one with a wonderful balcony-terrace with a partial view of the sea. The breakfast is copious and reasonable, everything in town is walking distance and there is enough parking. The management is extremely courteous and hospitable. Overall an excellent choice for a stay at a post-card perfect town !

The rooms at the Belvedere are small to medium size, ordinarily furnished, but with a good bathroom. Although advertised as having a desk, it is really just a shelf on one of the walls. I asked for a chair which I was allowed to take from the breakfast room, but it was too low to be able to use the desk (shelf) properly. Some rooms have good views, but it is a matter ...

Location is central, just a few minutes to the main street . Staircase and landings looking fancy and renewed. Room is old and old fashioned. Could be cleaner. The main bed internal springs gave back ache the next day. The sofa bed falling into pieces. The room very very small for 4 people. The bathroom very old fashioned. The shower screen is fitted on the wrong side,...

Self catering apartments have 2 bedsit rooms with a sofabed and clean compact bathroom for each room, one side has a kitchen with enough wares for 4 people. Bring your own towels and bedsheets to avoid renting those extras! Friendly and helpful multilingual staff. I've lready recommended 'Les Castors' to friends and would return without hesitation

Typical for Corsicans, staff did not speak much English. Don't let this throw you off. They are used to guests who don't know any french and will kindly get you settled in. Wifi works. Breakfast could be better. Hotel Kalliste is right around the corner and has much more to offer for breakfast. Ferry, train and bus station are across the street within 5 min walk. Cafe...

Small but tidy hotel well located in Zonza (small) town. Basic amenities. Staff was friendly and polite. Good for 1or 2 nights stay back from an exhausting mountain trail. However walls are very thin so you will hear each and every noise made by your neighbours. Breakfast is a little overpriced but the view from the bar is stunning.

We had a very nice stay at this B&B. It is located a little bit above a very small and cute village. There is a beautiful view from the room. The owner is very nice but doesn't speak much English, but his wife does. The breakfast includes homemade bread and cakes, homemade jams, yoghurt and cereal - very genuine. The B&B doesn't except credit card payments do you have ...

This is a typical French aparthotel in Corsica, near Ajaccio. It has a nice location right in front of the sea, probably all apartments have sea views. There is no beach directly in front of the hotel, the tiny beach with 4 umbrellas is about 7 minutes walk . Surprisingly, it was not crowded most of the time. There are several more nice beaches by the road to Sanguinar...

Camping is very nice. Bungalows are quite decent, clean with all necessary facilities. Nice view on the sea from ours. A nice swimming pool is available in the camping as well. Also, the camping is well located to visit South Corsica (1h30 to Ajaccio, 1h30 to Bonifacio and 1h30 to Porto Vecchio). If you can, don't forget to bring your own sheets and towels (otherwise t...

Very happy with the hotel in general, the room, pool area, breakfast etc. But because we visited during the busiest time of the year (15th August) the prices were extremely high compared to the standard of the hotel and the location of the hotel did not help us during peak season: the hotel is located on the north side of Porto-Vecchio and we faced enormous traffic eve...

It was a very comfortable good quality hotel with nice sea views from some rooms and a good swimming pool. It is nicely furnished, good bathroom and bed .It has a desk but no fridge. The Hotel is a little out of town and the Ajaccio attractions and shops. There is a town bus that will take you to town, but the timetable is a little haphazard and infrequent at times. I ...

We couldn't believe it when we first arrived. I wonder how the manager got the 4 stars but he must have paid for them. The comfort doesn't exist there. Awful. The rooms are small, the mattress is super soft, there is no mini bar, no safe, no chair in the bedroom. We cannot reach reception from the room because we always get the answering machine. Besides the obvious ...

The top floor apartment is beautifully decorated and has a full kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. There are a lot of steps, but it's worth it. There is a big private terrace and the apartment is 2 mins from the beach and l less than 10 mins from the center of town. The staff were also extremely nice and helpful.
