Alsace hotels & accommodations

The service is brilliant. The hotel itself is a bit old yet very charming. The breakfast choices are OK - many thing to choose including champagne. There isn't a parking at the hotel though. You will need to park your car temporarily in front of the hotel and the hotel staff will provide you a map with parking spots around the city. But truthfully with a new comer ...

The hotel is not new but well maintained. The location is in the city center with main attractions are within walking distance. However, when firstly arriving from the rail station, it is a bit difficult to find the hotel as it is located one block behind the main street. The breakfast is great and the reception staffs are helpful. The room is relatively small but as e...

the cerise apartments are only 5 mins walk from the tram stop (about 20mins out of the city). the rooms are small-ish, but clean and there is a fridge. the kitchen has some hot plates, but doesn't really work for doing any real cooking. there isn't a lot of restaurants about, so this place works best if you have a car or eat in the city. the wifi is free, but provided...

We are a couple traveling around France over three weeks. Spent 3 days in Alsace region and stayed in Riquewihr at the Best Western Hotel Le Schoenberg. We could walk throughout the town from the hotel without driving and did not have to worry about parking. The weather was outstanding and we relaxed every afternoon at the pool. In addition, my husband would work out i...

Location is fine if you have a car (you need it!) and it is close to a private lake (not owned by the hotel). Most days hotel is very quiet, but one of the evenings there were a lot of noise from the neighbor lake where they fired a lot of loud fire crackers. Staff were friendly and helpful - and the hotel and rooms were very clean. I don't think you can get better val...

This was my second stay at Europe Hotel in Strasbourg. It is perfectly located in the Old Town, close to the cosy La Petite France, the impressive cathedral, other historic places, as well as to both small, personal shops and the biggest stores. The hotel comprises an old building and a newer one. Last time, I got a room in the old part, which was very small but nice....

The reason we booked this hotel is because of its location. The hotel is located in the heart of Mulhouse business area, behind the popular store H&M and around 4-5 minutes walk to the nearest tram station Porte Jeunne. Upon checked in, we were greeted by English speaking staff, which to my relief speaks good English unlike many other hotels which I used to stay in Mul...

I like how studio is just that much more convenient than a regular hotel room. The room is clean and updated. The front desk directed us to the nearby parking lot and we were able to wheel our luggages directly to the hotel from the same elevator. I'd stay at Odalys Green Marsch again if I come to Strasbourg.

Nice cosy clean room. Continental breakfast spread (with nice bacon, ham and scrambled egg) are just nice (European standard, do not compare with Asian spread). Room is soundproof, we slept very well. Also walking distance to Petite Venise and the Marche. Overall good value for money and hotel with nice chic interior.

Hotel is in an excellent position close to Gare and city centre and walking distance to most attractions....rooms very clean and hotel facilities excellent....had a problem with air conditioning...it didn t cool the room even set on lowest setting..tech team were to look at it but hadn't arrived in our four day stay...the housekeeping was iffy..the lass was good with b...

Coming from Switzerland I wasn’t looking to stay in a Swiss style hotel but the price and location sold me on the idea! A quick 20minutes (or slow 30minutes) walk through the old town gave me a chance to get the lay of the land during the beautiful Christmas Market. The cozy room had everything including a kettle for a nice cuppa to warm up. Staff were friendly, spoke...

We were looking for a cheap and comfortable hotel next to the train station and Hotel victoria was just perfect for that. 100 metres for the train station, 15 minutes walk to the city centre and the petite France (not to missed). The breakfast is at 10 euros but it makes more sense to walk to the bakery close by and get some pastries (unless you like your breakfast sa...

Only 5 minutes walking for a real fairytale. Not only a few streets, but the complete centre is true christmas atmosphere. For big Christmas markets Germany is much better. But for the complete picture this is the real thing. Also Strasbourg in a 1 hr drive is beautiful with the immense cathedral is amazing but not as great a Colmar. Many cities in Europe pretent to be...

We are 2 adult wiht 2 kids, the sofa bed can become 2 singl bed, each kid can sleep individual, the room is quite big, toilet and show room is seperated, this save our time for the rush morning. Hotel location is in the edge of the town,to my surpris, i found a night market nearby, a small amusment park, kids have great fun there.

The hotel staff are the very nice, the location is good, the place is pretty clean, pretty basic rooms but its good priced. Parking is very good, no problem at all finding a space. The only major concern is the security. There is one night that a group of men came knocking on my door demanding to open my room, at the middle of the night.
Cheap places to stay in Alsace

this was the cheapest accomodation i could find in the area. for this price i cannot complain. the toilets were not very clean but this was because of other guests who peed while standing. the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and had enough pressure. breakfast wasnt anything special. but what can you except for 2.99?

For the money you are paying it has a fantastic location, its clean and the staff are nice enough. If you are visiting Strasbourg as a tourist you wont be spending much time in the hotel so this place is perfect. The only niggle is one of the rooms we stayed in here didn't have curtains!

Without a car it is difficult to find accomodation less than 10 km from the Grand Ballon. There is no public transport nearby either, but the hosts were very kind and picked me up at the bus stop in a nearby village. Took the taxi back and paid 40 Euros. The hotel is very good quality, the restaurant (1 of 2 in the village) is also good.

i selected this hotel because of its location and my experience elsewhere that comfort inn has fast internet. this was certainly the case. by any standards the rooms are small but that doesn't matter when you are asleep. reception staff i met were vey multilingual as you would aslo expect in this part of france.

I had business in Basel during the Basel Art weekend and all hotels in Basel was fully booked, and the surrounding hotels in Basel were too expensive, thus this option. For only 41 euro per night, I have nothing to compliant. PS the hotels in Basel were over 600 Euro per night, and Mulhouse is just 30 km from Basel

PROBLEMS: (1) You can only call the reception with the telephone in the room, no outside calls. (2) The housekeepers never cleaned my sink and they left their cleaning rags in my room. (3) Breakfast is too expensive and is not included in the $100 that I paid PER NIGHT. (4) There is no elbow room in the shower or in the vanity/mirror/sink cubicle. (5) The holder of the...

We got this room with a substantial discount. Which should mean that it was superior to the cheaper hotels that we have used. We found nothing that made it better than cheaper hotels. It provided less in terms of tea and coffee than others, not even replacing milk in the morning. Would have been disappointed if it had been full price.

Spent eight nights there. We felt well served. Cooking facilities with coffeemaker and refridgerator helped us to have a comfortable stay. No need to spent money on the overpriced breakfast. Free carparking nearby. Roomservice cost extra, so clear your garbage by yourself. We would book with Appart City again

We stayed 3 nights Saturday to Tuesday. On reflection including Friday would work better as there is more evening options like live music, on Friday and Saturday. However the stay was really lovely, a charming city with an excellent mix of pretty riverside buildings and little roads. Plenty of good places to eat and drink, and souvenir shopping. The Modern Art Museum i...

We love to travel to Alsace. This is our fourth times to travel to Alsace and our first stay in Strasbourg. To stay in Hilton Strasbourg Hotel was a good decision. It was comfortable enough, especially after a long day spent with travelling and sightseeing. The staff was so friendly and helping. The location is also good The city centre with shopping possibilities and ...

Disliked: Expecting 5-star luxury but (after staying at other 4-star properties in the area), this hotel disappointed. Parking in front of hotel is limited, so have to park in the back parking which is opened by intercom buzzer and not so convenient to get to the room. The spa / pool facilities close at 19:30 and this seems far too early for a primarily spa-focused hot...

You can check yourself in. The lobby has people in there (the lobby includes a restaurant/cafe). The check in process was very easy. It's a hotel but it's not classy, it's the opposite of that. More like funky modern. It was a fun experience and I did enjoy it. Breakfast was very good. Less than a 5 minute walk to the center. Would recommend!

We stayed 5 nights at the regent contades, rooms were spotless clean, good location, 2 mins walk to tram station and 10 mins walking distance to the beautiful cathedral shops and restaurants. 5 star cleanliness and the staff are very friendly, Fanny at the front desk is very welcoming, check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend this charming hotel.

I like the cozyness of the hotel when I walked in. The room is pretty nice, with a soft bed and most of all, a luxurious bathroom. The staff are nice and helpful. Although the room is small, we are both small Asian girls and were not bothered at all. 10-min walk to the old twon and would highly recommend to budgeted travelers by booking via Agoda.

we love it there..the kids enjoyed the pool though is small but its very clean...we enjoyed as adults the sauna.the Breakfast was good too.The interior of the entire hotel was combined perfectly....enough parking lots..nearby eatery are available too..was a great stay...def.will come back once we visit again Strasbourg..keep it up guys

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the food and the golf. The location and price were also very good. The bed was super comfortable. The only negatives for us was that there was no soap in the bathroom. I think even a bar of soap should be standard if a hotel is to be rated 4 stars. We also had to make our own beds, take out our own trash, strip the bed down and put all th...

Hotel location is pretty far. Its takes a 10 mins drive from city center to hotel. Hotel is situated near Colmar airport and Statue of Liberty. Hotel address was not able to be located through GPS. You may want to update your GPS maps. Generally, good hotel since its new. Nice ambiance and value for money for the price. Nothing much to see around the hotel, except for ...

This hotel is very well situated close to all sites. Very quaint area and a beautiful city. We had a lot of fun wandering around admiring the quaint architecture and enjoying the city. Good food, friendly people, terrific buildings with a heap of character. The hotel has a classic facade and ultra modern interior. It is well designed and they are very keen on energ...

On arrival, the man at the front desk was very helpful. The building is stunning, real attention paid to the details and furnishings in our room as well as just the public areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our first day until we went to bed. I turned off the bathroom light and the power cut in the room. We called front desk and for the next hour we had to wait in the dark w...
