Truly a great view! ”
We stayed at the Railay Great View for five nights, and were so glad we did! We loved how accessible the resort is via a 20minute walk to the beach and things to do, but it’s off the beaten path and a retreat from the bustle of tourism. The staff made it easy to arrange the boat shuttle from the pier. Our room was clean and spacious, and the view of trees and the water was paradise. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet: eggs cooked your way, fruit, toast, noodles, soup, coffee, and juices. I didn’t swim in the pool but it looked lovely. The staff are very wonderful.

Heavenly”
After budget traveling and yoga retreating for a few weeks, this was my "splurge" and it is heaven on earth. So relaxing, and separated from (but still close enough to walk) to all the wonderful hikes, beach, massages, and food in Railay Beach. Could stay here for weeks... verrrrry relaxing. There is some noise from the boats if that bothers you, but honestly it's like white noise and I dont mind it at all. Also a lot of amazing wildlife. A total dream :)

Great stay with jungle vibes! ”
We loved our stay at Great view. The bungalows had a great jungle vibe that we loved. Our family of five rented two bungalows, and we paid for an extra bed in one of them. The spot is secluded on the east end of Railay but we loved its remote location, and it’s still only about a 15 minute walk to all the hustle and bustle of Railay, dining and the beautiful beaches. The pool was beautiful, but chilly. We really enjoyed that breakfast buffet was included with our stay. It’s a bit of a hike up hill to get to most of the rooms, so just be aware of that if there are any mobility issues. The hotel has their own private pier so if you’re able to let your boat driver know the location, they should be able to take you directly to the pier in order to avoid a walk with your luggage from the public pier. Each room has a private porch, and it was so fun to sit outside and listen to the sounds of the jungle and see the water. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and spacious and they have air-conditioning. We saw a few little critters, but nothing major and you are in the jungle after all! This is a lovely, unique spot to stay and we are very thankful we chose this for our time on Railay. The staff were wonderful and accommodating and we would definitely recommend it!!

Great view!! ”
It says it right in the name! This place has a stunning view and wonderful lush foliage, makes you feel like you are right in the jungle. Good food, nice pool. And the bungalows are very cozy and relaxing. We were created by monkeys playing right outside our patio on check in! Would stay here again for sure, and we actually wished we had booked more nights here.

Great view / comfort room”
The room is big , clean , comfortable, face to the ocean . You can see the ocean from your bed and from your bathroom too. The swimming pool is located front of beach. Breakfast is ok but not different from the others.The restaurant has nice view. There are many ants at the balcony. There are boat service take you to the hotel from aow nam mao . The Staff is nice

Railay Great View”
I had another wonderful stay at this resort. The staff are so kind and helpful and assisted my father on many occasions with his health. The views from the cottage rooms are fantastic as you see the seascape and a variety of animals in the trees etc. I think the buffet breakfast could be improved by including an egg station and the coffee machine needs to be replaced. The free long-tail boat is outstanding as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to both you and old.

Great rooms. Felt like I’m we slept in a treehouse. The climb to the room is not for the faint of heart, you wouldn’t want a disability if you stayed here. But we enjoyed it very much

Great resort”
We loved our stay at great view. It is at the very end of the road, with some hills and about 1 km past other amenities. We loved the secluded location. The staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms were great and breakfast was delicious. We loved the pool area.

Luxury jungle hut”
I loved the room, the view and distance away from other hotels, the pool, breakfast, and accommodating staff. All but one thing make this place perfect. You may read other reviews that mention the noise from long boats that go on all night. This is no joke. It is constant throughout the night and less but steady during the day. This has nothing to do with the hotel other than the location near the pier used for shipping everything in and out of Railay. I think some get used to the noise but it kept me up during my one night stay. I still give high marks for everything else. The walk to the beach is 20-30 minutes. Shout out to the egg station lady at breakfast for making perfect fried eggs.

Wonderful gem”
We loved our stay. A quit corner of Railay, with monkeys in the trees and your own hut with no neighbors. Would come back!!! The staff was so nice and helped us with everything!

Beautiful jungle resort on the edge of Railay”
This is a beautiful resort on the farthest edge of East Railay, nestled in the jungle and hillside. Due to it's location the property has some quirks (uneven or level walkways, lots and lots of stairs), but also due to the location you truly feel like you are in a little jungle oasis with stunning surroundings and monkeys swinging through the trees and spending time by the pool. We stayed in a Grad Deluxe Partial Sea View room and it was lovely. The room was spacious, had really lovely Thai style and decor, a fabulous bathroom and a really large balcony with a great view. Again, the room had some quirks, the bathroom ceiling leaked during heavy rain storms, and there were some holes in the mosquito net, but we didn't find any of these things to be a major problem, and found the room to be really comfortable. The infinity pool at the property is stunning, again with great views of East Railay (they really aren't kidding with the name of the resort). The best part of the pool was being able to watch the local monkeys swing by and stop to just hang out in all of the trees that surround the pool area. The Staff at Great View Resort were super friendly and always extremely helpful. Whenever we needed anything or had any issues in the room, the staff would immediately respond and resolve the issue. The resort has a long tail boat that does regular trips between the pier at Ao Nang and the resort to pick up and drop off guests which was helpful for check in/out. The property is the very last accommodation in East Railay, so it is a little bit of a walk along a well lit pathway to get to the restaurants and shops of Railay. That being said, to get all the way to the main beach in Railay West only took probably 15-20 minutes, and there were tons of food and drink options along the walk. We would highly recommend The Heart Restaurant in East Railay for fresh BBQ seafood and Thai food. The only disappointment for us at Great View Resort was the restaurant. The food

Great place to stay!”
The resort has the best location on the entire coast. It is not crowded like the other places and the view of the terrace and balcony is amazing! The rooms, they are a wooden cabin which are situated in the jungle. They are wild and adventures, but you get some luxurious, even the terrace door doesnt close properly and you have some wholes in the floor and stuff like this. We also had a geko the whole time in the room, who kept all the mosquitos away. It was amazing! The stuff is very helpful, but their english is sometimes very bad. We had problems to understand each other, but they tried their Best to help us !!! The restaurant is verg nice and have a variety of foods. The morning food buffet is very good..For us, gluten intolerant people, existed a big variety of rice dishes, eggs, joghurts, and a lot of fresh fruit. The pool is amazing!!! And the view is stunning! Our 5 year old loves the pool and everything. We felt very good there. Just an advice, you shouldnt do any touristic tour, they are overpriced and very exhausting.

Private, comfortable stay in Railay”
We loved out stay at Railay Great View Resort - the rooms were spacious, comfortable, air conditioned, and clean. Much more luxurious than even the pictures show. Nice deck with view and a big hot shower. The location is very quiet - note that you'll need to walk from the longtail boat about 20 minutes with all of your luggage. There are no cars or scooters on Railay and this is the very last resort on the island. Breakfast was very good, the pool was nice, and staff were helpful especially with transfers from the hotel to the airport. Would definitely come back to stay again if we ever come back to Railay.

The most admire and falling in love with”
I and my mom was luckiest to stay with hotel. The room are so cleaness, full of relax facility (warm water), great view from room. The breakfast is delicious and various suitable choice. The dinner is suitable (not expensive). The swimming pool is so cleaness and having good shower area. The most important is service that is very good, the staffs of all area are so helpful, kindness and service mind. They were taking of my mom very well.

A little heaven”
We've just spent 3 nights there and our stay was sooo nice. Our bungalow has a direct view on the sea, perfect place for the sunrise. Bed was really good quality, bathroom is really clean with a direct view on the sea as well. Staff was welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast was huge with a large range of food. There is a walking path to railay village which is really easy to walk. If you want to stay in a beautiful place among nature, this is the place in Railay. We loved it.
