While both properties offer a high standard of hospitality, Radisson Blu truly stood out in several key areas, especially in space, amenities, and service. The room was exceptionally spacious, decorated in soothing shades of blue that created a relaxing ambiance. A personalized touch that made us smile was seeing our name displayed on the TV screen as a welcome greeting—a small detail that made a big impression. The balcony was also expansive, providing peaceful views and a perfect spot to unwind. The bathroom was one of the most impressive we’ve seen, more than double the size of the one at Movenpick, featuring a luxurious layout, excellent lighting, and premium fixtures. One of the biggest highlights of Radisson Blu is its fitness and wellness facilities. The gym is outstanding—spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with top-quality machines suitable for all levels of training. Right beside it, the sauna is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing an excellent post-workout wind-down. In contrast, Movenpick’s gym and sauna were not in the same building as our room, making them much less accessible and less appealing to use regularly. The buffet breakfast at Radisson Blu was another major plus. The spread was diverse, fresh, and flavorful, offering something for every palate. One charming and memorable experience was the baristas making latte art to order, adding a touch of artistry to our mornings. However, we did note a few areas where improvement could be made: the salad bar lacked variety, and the Vietnamese and Asian dishes were not as broad or refined as those offered at Movenpick. Additionally, the banh mi station did not have a staff member preparing the sandwiches—guests had to assemble them on their own. At Movenpick, this service was offered, and guests could simply pick up a ready-made sandwich. That said, Radisson Blu excelled in ingredient quality. The fruits were fresher, the yogurt richer, and the cheese selection—particularly the quality—was superior. The bread was also excellent, clearly baked with care and attention to texture and taste. Above all, what made our stay feel truly elevated was the attentive and professional staff. Everyone we interacted with—from front desk to restaurant staff and housekeeping—was consistently helpful, polite, courteous, and genuinely friendly. Their warmth added a lot to the overall experience and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. While we didn’t intend to compare the two resorts, the back-to-back visits naturally led to some observations. Radisson Blu delivers a more spacious, refined, and comfortable stay, while Movenpick excels in localized service details. That said, Radisson Blu’s thoughtful design, superior facilities, and outstanding hospitality left a stronger impression overall. We truly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to return.
