Pattaya Beach hotels & places to stay

So we are travelling through Asia. Philippines. Vietnam Malaysia Thailand. We know we love Thailand having been here many times before. We decided to route through Langkawi then Koh Lipe on route to Koh Lanta. We booked into this hotel for two nights unsure on what the island had to offer. The ferry from langkawai was pretty grim as the boat had poor windows and no outside seating but soon over. Customs and immigration was an island experience! Once done into hotel. Hotel is clean friendly and a prime location on Pattaya beach. Yes the beach is busy but not in a crowded way but nice bars hotels boats etc. Pool overlooks the bay. Hotel had all you need from a hotel and a short walk to walking street. Plenty of restaurants local food. Western food and usual shops and massages. Think mini phi phi. But from the side opposite the ferry’s and no McDonald’s. !! We walked around the island and decided we had the best location and hotel. So the big problem ,,,,,,,,,, We are still here ! We want to explore other islands before Koh Lanta. But keep deciding why move when everything we love is here. Currently at 7 nights and still no plans to go. Reception have got used to the request. Another two days please !

My friend is wheelchair user. All staffs are very initiative to provide help to us every moment! The environment of the Villas is also excellent. We booked the Deluxe Sweet Room which is spacious & clean. Although we are at G/F, we still can see sunset at the outside of the room. Villas is located at the end of Pattaya beach which is quiet and is a good location to see sunset. Also the water is very clear just outside the Villas, we can see many fishes & coral just outside the beach of Villas during snorkeling. The sand is also white & fine too! We also joined the snorkeling trip by the Villas, the arrangement was also fine & satisfactory too! If you want to try different restaurants & services, walking street is just about 10 mins walking distance from Villas. Also, we booked the Ferry transfer service via Bundhaya from Langkawi to Koh Lipe. All the arrangement was smooth. There are staffs waiting you when you get out from the long-tail boat. It is highly recommended to book Bundhaya ferry transfer service as the check-in point of the immigration office is just next to the Villas, so can save more time in transportation. The things that have space to improve is the wifi connection which is quite weak at room. Also quite a lots of mosquito at room.

i think the bundhaya resort has a prefect location which is in pattaya beach . the resort accommodation is average for koh lipe's attraction . the bungalow is nice and neat. each morning there is a buffet breakfast at the restaurant and at that time the maids clean your room.they have any types of room for your holiday on a beach, be it deluxe or family room. we loved the happy people that worked in the resturant. i miss them. and the boss was very friendly and joked with the customer."he tv plays english and thai channels! you can rent extras like snorkel gear and umbrellas. plus they have a money exchange area all at the reception. most of the staff understands english too.

We stayed over New Year 18/19. We knew prices would be hiked for the new year but booked anyway. The bungalows are adverised as Delux and they Are definitely not. They are dated and have patch work repairs to keep them functional. The staff are really helpful and the breakfast was adequate. There’s a music beach bar right next door which plays loud music till 1am then quietened till 3am but still...when you’re trying to sleep...not brilliant. We said to the staff but what can they do. The whole place needs money spent on it if they’re going to ask for for the overpriced non delux bungalows. Great beach location but so many more reasons to avoid.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with young children and we very much enjoyed it. The front desk lady was very very friendly and gave us a free upgrade to a room that was closer to the beach. When we first walked into the room, we were amazed by the new facilities. Rooms were newly renovated and everything was satisfactory. I am sensitive to mold but couldn't smell anything from the air conditioner. We did not expect such facility for the money we paid. It was absolutely worth it. My wife liked that the hotel was located in Pattaya beach. We've been to all three beaches and Pattaya was the best for families with young children. The sand is so soft that it almost feels like mud and it has many trees along the shore line so that you can place a mat underneath a tree and get an escape from the heat. Sunrise beach is beautiful but not enough trees and the sand doesn't feel as soft. Sunset beach is unrecommended. Water is muddy and too much rocks underwater. Everything was great except that it took about 10 minutes to get to the Walking street for food. Having 2 little kids(1 & 3 years old) it wasn't easy because they kept getting distracted by things on the beach and things that were happening in the beach. If you don't care about walking and you want a less crowded area in the Pattaya beach, this hotel is the one. Strongly recommended. p.s Two things I didn't ask. 1) They had a small car parked in front of the hotel. I don't know if they offer a pickup service for people who arrive at sunrise beach (during low seasons, speedboats arrive at sunrise beach so you need a ride - either a taxi or a hotel pickup. Check with the hotel if you are traveling during low season. 2) They had snorkeling equipments at the front desk. I don't know if they let their customers use it free of charge. Ask before you rent one from the shop.

We stayed at this resort for 5 nights in November at the end of our month long vacation and were most satisfied with our choice. We arrived by Ferry from Ko Lanta and then transferred to a long- tailed boat for a 400 metre ride to the beautiful white sandy Pattaya Beach. As we departed our boat, a Mali representative was there to greet us with a smile and take our luggage to the resort. This service is also provided at the end of your stay. This beautiful resort located near the end of the Pattaya beach on the Adaman sea, with its many manicured gardens, grassy areas and trees, an outside restaurant, lounge chairs directly on the beach including picnic tables and an oval bar (great place to wind down after supper) provides all the comforts you would want for your vacation. We were happy to be at the end of the beach for more privacy and quiet at night. The rooms are impeccably clean and beautifully decorated in Balinese style (very high thatched roofs), windows on all sides including an sitting alcove (darkened curtains are provided for privacy). A private and attached outdoor bathroom area (two showers, double sinks on a tiled floor and even a palm tree was an interesting concept. We much appreciated the outdoor terrace with two chairs overlooking the open space garden area so that we could quietly read while still having a view of the beach. Pretty good snorkelling is available directly in front of the Mali and they even provide for their guests a free mask and snorkel. The coral and the numerous and colourful fish made for an enjoyable experience and a must try for all guests . You could also opt to go on one of their snorkelling tours available which will take you to nearby islands. Very worthwhile. Walking street (concrete paved) is around a 10 minute walk along the beach from the resort and dotted with numerous restaurants, massage places, clothing and jewelry stores, ATM machines (cash seems to be the norm in Thailand but the M

I stayed at 2 hotels on the island and this was by far the better. It is set off the beach (just a one minute walk) but has a beautiful garden and relaxed area with fans and couches to escape the sun if you need. Rooms are very clean with a nice balcony and the staff are very friendly. Pattaya Beach is busy but the best beach. There are a lot of boats but apart from that the beach is very nice. Sunset beach is rubbish. Overall Lipe is nice, probably a slightly more backpacker scene but you can still enjoy the quieter resort life.

I‘d always come back and recommend it to everyone! It‘s the best part of Pattaya beach! No boats right in feont of Z-touch! Everywhere else are longtailboats! Wooden sunbeds instead of the ugly plastic ones! Good breakfast - everything you need! Most beautiful part of the beach and Pattaya beach is also way more beautiful than sunrise beach. Also Z-touch is very close to sunset beach (just a 5 minute walk)

If you dream of rustic charm in a bamboo Hut near the sea then this is the place for you. Excellent located right on pattaya beach within spitting distance of bars and restaurants..not forgetting the walking Street. The huts are basic, but has WiFi, power supply, fan, mosquito net and cold shower which was fine for me. I will say that these dwellings are not sound proof so ear plugs are advisable If you are fussy and picky then splash out on a hotel. Pattaya beach is the best one for swimming, but a constant stream of boats coming and going. There are designated areas for swimming where boats aren't allowed and there is one right in front of the resort with some nice snorkeling opportunities. The resort with lend you snorkeling equipment and there are sun beds reserved for guests. There is no restaurant but plenty of places nearby. Reception closes at six so there is no one around if there is a problem and one slight critism is that staff staying nearby can be noisy at times, otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Hmmm, how do I sum up a beach hut that is 30 seconds from the clearest water you'll ever see. The blue tribes resort is incredible. The resort bar is on the actual beach (Pattaya) so you jump off the long tail boat and reach the resort in 60 seconds. It's approximately five venues along from the Pattaya Beach entrance to Walking Street - another bonus. The beach huts themselves are superb. A big size; standard Thai double bed (that means hard) and cold shower. Huge porch to sit on and hear the amazing nature that surrounds you (particularly at night). There's wifi in the resort lounge/bar area but not in the room so do bear that in mind if you like to be glued to the web. Beers are reasonably priced, for Koh Lipe standards, and staff always there to serve you. Pattaya Beach was our favourite beach. Although busier, because of the arrival/departure jetty, the sand just seemed so much nicer and cleaner than everywhere else. Lucas, who runs the place, was really friendly and helpful. He gave me a bit of a breakdown on the history of the place etc. It's amazing who your room money goes on to support! We booked two but stayed for two more. It's paradise. I know it is a cliche but it really is. I'd wake up in the morning and within a minute could be in the clear blue sea. No building work or anything to ruin the peace. There were a lot of dogs but none threatening or anything to worry about. The island as a whole seems to have a lot of dogs. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Don't expect any comfort here and you will be completely satisfied. There is no chair or shelves inside, so your stuff will be in your bags. Our hut was not far from the beach so we could see the sea from the terrase! Most of all we were afraid of cocroaches, moscitos and hot in the night: -Yes, we saw cocroaches twice after we had left fruits inside. -Antimoscitos sprays work and the net around the bed works 100%. -The fan works great, very comfortable sleep. Sometimes it was windy at night and we slept without fan. We checked all the beaches on the island and Pattaya beach is the best to stay on (for swiming we went to other beaches). We also checked Forra Dive on Sunrise beach and were happy that we had chosen Pattaya beach.

I was hesitant to book this as there were no reviews I could find online. Given it was NYE and this was last minute I booked anyway and I was pleasantly surprised. The bungalow/room is immaculately clean and feels brand new, incl the giant bed. The bed is so comfortable, and all the sheets are of high quality. The location is right on Pattaya beach and 3 mins walk to the start of Walking St, 15 min walk to sunrise beach. Breakfast is selected from 7 set menus (Asian and Western options) so your meals are fresh. Staff are friendly and I even received a cake for New Years. One thing I will mention is the bathroom is attached to the bungalow via a tin door. I had no issues with plumbing, water pressure etc. and unlike some other places, bathrooms were clean, free of any smells and mould. Overall a very nice surprise for my last minute accomodation, would gladly stay here again.

One of the nicest beach bungalows I've ever stayed in. Simple but clean with everything you need (bed, mosquito net, fan, towels, hot water, hangers, front porch for relaxing). Location was a bit tucked away in the jungle behind another bungalow resort. Only a 2-3 minute walk to Pattaya Beach and the Walking Street. A lot of nature and small animals. The beach was amazingly beautiful. I would stay again.

The hotel is placed at the end of Pattaya Beach, melted into the hill, which means that every room has a stunning view over the beach and the bay (and hammock to properly admire it). The Walking Street with bars, shops and restaurant is few minutes away going by the beach. But it’s still on the other side of it which means that Chareena Hill Beach is not that crowded. The beach and the sea are amazing, clean, with stunning colors. Hotel has own restaurant with really delicious food, both thai and western. Something that will make your stay really extraordinary is really thoughtful and helpful, yet funny and easy to chat with (they can speak English easily) staff. They were always ready to assist us, even when the plans where suddenly changed. Thank you guys so much! You made our stay worry free.

Koh Lipe is amazing and this hostel as well, brand new hostel with good services, this include common fridge, free coffee and snacks 24h, common area cozy and clean, they also provide shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Staff was friendly all the time, each room has the A/C and lookers, located two steps away from the beach (Pattaya beach). We booked for one week and extended also for another night, on the other side i have to say the wi-fi connection in very poor in common area and also in the room, shame as otherwise would have been perfect stay, hopefully they will sort it out. Overall really good vibes and happy times Thanks to the smiley staff

Great location right on the beach front. Lots of local eating and drinking options nearby or a short walk up the beach to the main walking street. Requires a 5-10 min walk on the beach from the ferry drop-off, so be prepared to carry your luggage a bit. Basic facilities but clean and the staff were very friendly. Accommodation is attached to a dive shop that was very professional.
