Pantai Cenang hotels & places to stay

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Pelangi in Langkawi. What we got for the price was an amazing deal, with a huge deluxe room which could actually sleep 5, overlooking one of the pretty ponds in the huge resort. On arrival we were picked up in a buggy and driven to our chalet - lovely malay style houses. The room was enormous, much bigger than we expected with a huge queensize bed, a single bed and a double sofa bed. Perfect if u want to all stay as a family too. Staff were all very attractive and friendly! The breakfast was the best Ive ever had, everything you could possibly imagine was there! Of course, you are right on the beach which is a very long public beach. You dont have the privacy of say the Datai Hotel, but it is equally nice to get out of the resort and eat in different local restaurants along Pantai Cenang. There are some fairly good seafood restaurants, as well as others serving italian, mexican, indian, you name it they have it. Compared to Penang's Batu ferrenghi which I would say is spoilt now due to so many highrise hotels, Pantai Cenang is more sedate and still has a local feel to it, not just a tourists playground which i much preferred. I would definitely go and stay at the Pelangi again.

Hotel was clean. It’s new so that is to be expected. Rooms were clean. The location is what made this place a great stay as it was so accessible to areas in pantai cenang. The hotel is literally right next to Cenang mall. Various eateries and restaurants around the area. The beach is right across the street from the hotel. The staff was excellent. Service was excellent. They helped us with whatever enquiries we had and tried their best to accommodate to our needs. I think what needs to be highlighted is the downpayment of RM100 before we get our rooms. Tourist tax is already applicable for all hotels in Malaysia but what should be highlighted is that it has to be paid in cash. Other than that, the hotel and their staff were great! We really enjoyed our stay at Nadias!

Hotel yang menarik untuk dihuni sepanjang percutian. Bilik dalam keadaan baik dengan dua queen size bed, luas dan selesa sesuai untuk kami sekeluarga 5 orang dengan anak-anak yang masih kecil dan aktif. Bilik air juga luas. Memandangkan kami memang mencari lokasi hotel yang berdekatan dengan pantai Cenang, hotel ini sesuai dengan citarasa kami.Tapi,sayangnya hotel yang kami dapat tidak menghadap laut. Tapi masih lagi ok.Harga pun berpatutuan. Lokasi ini pada waktu malam sangat meriah. Tempat makan ada banyak pilihan, tetapi kena pandai memilih.

it seems to be the nice resort to stay with your family in langkawi. it is in pantai cenang which is one of the best beaches of langkawi. i found beach adjoining to the resort, in fact directly from the hotel to beach with water sports on it. underwater world within walking distance from hotel. moreover looking to our combined family group, they provided us adjoining rooms with room to room door & rooms were large with all facilities, one should expect. waiters are most probably indians and are helpful. overall we find it value for money resort.

The hotel is clean. Very tidy and big room for 2 person. I book the deluxe room and i think it can fit more than 10 people in there. The bed was comfortable. The view is great. You can see the pantai cenang from the room. They provide the complete facilities such as ironing, hair dryer, toiletries, refrigerator etc. I’ve been go through other’s hotel pages in langkawi and it is very hard to find the hotel with complete facilities that are very required by customer. The location was awesome. You can find many shops outside. Even the souvenir shops were placed at the ground floor of the hotel. Besides, you dont have to use cars to go for eat. The restaurants, cenang mall, shops, mcdonald kiosk, seven e, mini mart, pantai cenang were only walking distance. You just need to across the road through sandy beach resort and you’ll arrive at the beach. If you are planning for any activities such as island hopping, snorkelling etc, the tourism agent is just opposite the hotel.

When we arrived earlier, staff serve us wet hand towel as refreshment and help us kept the luggage, so we could walk around pantai cenang before the room is ready. The room is clean, full of amenities and even hair dryer. Upon check-in, staff helps us bring the luggage to our room and brief us regarding all the item available in the drawers. The hotel just located at opposite of cenang mall, which easier access to everywhere in pantai cenang. The beach is just behind of the hotel. The only con is the internal's sound proof system is weak, can hear clearly even if someone walk through.

It was a perfect getaway for me and my sister. We stayed at the hotel most of the time just enjoying our room and the facilities and we already feel very happy. We even want to extend our stay but sadly we have work to go back to but we do plan to come back as it has been the best hotel experience for us. The hotel is located in Pantai Cenang which is among the popular beach in Langkawi but never once we feel disturbed during our stay. It is located at one end of the beach. Not many publics came to the beach hence it was a peaceful environment for us. If you are looking for peaceful and quiet environment this will be the perfect place/hotel to go with the perfect view. This hotel was mainly occupied by honeymooners/ retired couple as they don't have family rooms. We only saw 2 kids during our stay and they don't even make that much noise. We stayed in the beachfront room which we really recommend as you will have the nicest view to wake up to. The best thing about this hotel was the staffs. The staffs from the reception staffs to the maintainance staffs are super friendly and attentive which made our stay even more wonderful. They were really kind and helpful. The hotel may not be totally perfect as it is a four star hotel but the way the staff treated you just made you feel you are staying in a 5 star hotel. The food and spa were not that fantastic but again the wonderful staffs made us forget this little imperfections. The room service food price was reasonable to us and the best thing they don't have extra 6% gst nor the 10% service charge. Overall it's been a fantastic and unforgettable stay for us. We are definitely coming back next year.

It's a new building and very clean. Staffs are awesome. If you bring children or do not want the insects from the paddy field enter your room please close the balcony door and switch off the balcony light at night. With the light off you can still enjoy in balcony. If you want stay away from the hectic situation of Pantai Cenang but yet want to stay nearby Pantai Cenang than this is the place. Breakfast is simple. There is a Malay restaurant next door to this stay.

Location is great, close to mini markets, restaurants, McDonalds, the Zone, Choco World and Under Water World. To reach Pantai Cenang may take about 5 minutes. Rooms and amenities were excellent! Spacious, clean and nicely set. I love the swimming pool! They provide free Wifi too. Laundry service is provided and price was reasonable. Staffs were very helpful. They change towel and make up room everyday. Just like at a hotel! Worth every penny! Definitely will stay here again for next visit.

I wanted to stay somewhere traditional & that is certainly what I got! My cottage was charming-however the mosquitos & ants just ruin your comfort. There should have been nets on the doors to keep out the mosquitos-parts of the cottage are almost like 'shutters' & they don't close completely. I also found my aircon & fan not to be cooling adequately. The fact that the shower is not enclosed, is inconvenient as the whole bathroom becomes wet. The location is a gorgeous walk to Pantai Cenang. The ladies at reception were extremely helpful & friendly. Breakfast is an adequate & tidy setup. Having a Dolce Gusto machine at breakfast saved me from my coffee snobbery!

sweet inn has nice friendly staff and clean rooms with aircon, tv, attached toilet and shower, and provides breakfast too. unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning so we missed the breakfast. they have a dining area which serves meals at other times of the day as well, & we had dinner there which was very convenient. there is a taxi stand just 5 minutes walk from the motel and to our surprise, 2 taxis were waiting there at 6.30am! it is a short walk from a large touristy street in pantai cenang. we didn't have the time to explore but the street seemed to have a lot of shops and eateries.

Besides high-end hotels, this is the place to be if you are not in the mood for the many cheap but rundown hotels in Pantai Cenang. The hotel is located on a narrow strip of land and does not have the best access to the beach with only one room is 'beachfront'. Next door plot is cordoned off. But the outdoor decor is one of the best and the rooms are simple, modern, clean with everything working. Staff was always helpful.

Great location, right in the heart of Pantai Cenang. Staffs were amazing and the room is big and spacious. They have scooter rental right at the counter too, just don't forget to bring your driver's license. The only down side is that their towels and bed sheets were stained and doesnt feel too clean. Every one of them that we got. And while cleaning the rooms, they did nothing but change the towels, proper the bed sheet and change the rubbish bin. Any rubbish outside of the bin were not cleared at all. But I'm sure all these could be improved easily and not that of a big issue.

overall impression: the cottage is lead by two brothers who really do everything for you to give you a second home on langkawi. there's a common area outside a cottage where you could meet and chat in a very friendly atmosphere - it just feels like home! if i woulf come back to langkawi - and i'm pretty sure i will - i'll definitely stay here again. would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a quiet place to hang out in the nature, but not far from the entertainment and the beach. location: the cottage is located in a small village called kampung haji saad, but is only 3 minutes walking away from the jalan pantai cenang, the main area of langkawi, and therefore only 3 minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever been to. at the cottage you don't hear the traffic from the main road, but you still are just there! the indian restaurant down the road serves delicious food for very low prices. try it out! rooms: the rooms with a fan only can get very hot at night, so if you don't handle it try to get a room with ac. i could change the room after two nights without any problem thanks to the owners. basically, the rooms are clean and very well kept, but quite basic.

Jika saya mengunjungi lagi Langkawi, sudah pasti saya akan menempah The Chapter Suites & Hotel sekali lagi. Tempat dan suasana hotel yang menarik berhampiran pusat belibelah bebas cukai dan tak perlu menggunakan kenderaan untuk pergi belibelah bebas cukai hanya sekitar 200 meter dari hotel. Restoran dan kedai makan juga hanya 100 - 300 meter dari hotel. Jarak hotel dengan Maybank sekitar 500 meter dan mesen ATM 200 meter 400 meter dari Pantai Cenang Amat berbaloi dengan nilai mata wang

It's Great! Me and my fellow uni friend stayed in The Village Langkawi for only three nights. It already made us feel like home and missed it so much while we were leaving. It's very natural (cattle are all around and chicken woke us up every morning) and a good night view (thousands of millions stars can be seen in the sky). The hotel itself is good. The bed is very comfortable. Wifi is strong. And the host of the Hotel allowed us to use the frige. They also helped us to take care of our stuff even though we'd checked out. Five minutes' walk to Pantai Ceneng main road (which all restaurants and shops are around) and Pantai Cenang beach as well. Ten minutes to Airport. All in all, recommend The Village Langkawi to everyone!

Chenang Inn is just located at Pantai Cenang, walkable distance to the beach, and with affordable price. The hotel is new, but I think they need to do something on the maintenance. Dirty water is dripping when we use the basin. The staffs are very polite and helpful during our stay. The price is worth for the stay and I definitely will stay at there again but hopefully they will review on the maintenance.

Value for money - Yes! Room is big, with fridge, electric kettle, towels, heater. They have water dispenser infront of Reception area, drinking water is free! Location - Yes! Near in Pantai Cenang, it is just 3-5 mins drive. 10-20 mins drive to Oriental Village. 10-20 mins drive to Kuah. It's like Cenang is the center 😁 Cleanliness - Yes! Room is clean. Toilet is clean! Staff - Yes! She's accomodating! We asked if they are offering Island Hopping tour and luckily, yes, they have packages. Island Hopping tour for the 3 Islands for 30myr only! Cheaper than Klook 😁 They are also offering motorbike rental and other island hopping packages. Ask the reception. Facilities - nothing much. The place is so quiet. You can hear frogs. If you are looking for a place just to sleep, take a bath and mostly you are outside, this one's for you! So affordable and worth the money. Highly recommended!

- location is okay. if you wouldnt mind to walk maybe 15-20mins to pantai cenang area,then the location is okay. - very quiet and peaceful at night. since the villa is located at the back (i would say back) of pantai cenang, there is no nightlife around this area. good for family with babies & elderly who wish to have a peaceful sleep at night. - room & toilet is very big!😊 - there is no service for car rental here. so make sure you rent a car from airport when you arrive. but they do have bike rental service. - overall experience is good. and im satisfied with my stay here👍😍
