I recently stayed at Palm Hotel in Ipoh and had a generally wonderful experience. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The location is great, with easy access to nearby attractions, which made it very convenient for sightseeing. The amenities provided were top-notched . Parking infront of the hotel. Need to pay parking but its easier with t&g. So can park anywhere in perak within time that I paid. Deposit in cash only. I really hope hotel can provide qr code because now all cashless. I didnt bring any cash. Luckily my sister got cash Early check-in. I loveeeeed this. We arrived 30mins earlier. At first the receiptionist said need to wait 3pm but maybe the room already cleaned, so we can check-in Got room in 1st floor. They have lift so dont worry for wheelchair Room spacioud & clean except for mattress cover got stain for both bed. King size were really good & super single not single size. Love it Just the aircond already fixed the temperature Last. They stated iron provided. But not in room. Iron board already in room so i call to request for iron. They came to check & come again to give the iron but remind us to return after use because other guest want it too. Hotel should provide more iron. No need to rush to return till our checkout. The receiptionist also give me “the look” bcause i didn return till my checkout 😆 Thats all thank you.

I booked family suite. I and family total 6 orang. I thought we can just fits all dalam 1 bilik sebab mmg bilik besar as what u can see from the picture. And I think the king bed is very big enough plus there is a sofa. But they are very strict and the room is only for 4 people. So, i need to book another 1 room for another 2 family members. It’s ok. Room clean, katil besar, bed sheets and comforter clean, bantal still empuk like new. Oh ya, they are very strict on the checked out time. 10-15mins before 12pm they already call to remind us. And mereka akan check bilik before mereka release us and our deposit. Everything just ok. But, there is 1 situation happened that i am very very thankful to the front desk staff. After finishing the check-in process at the counter, I sat on the sofa while waiting for other family members to come in with their belongings. Somehow, I forgot my handbag on the couch and we headed straight to the room. As we had traveled a long way to get to ipoh, that night we had slept early. The next morning, I called the front desk to ask something and even after that, they asked if I had left a handbag? I asked her to check the i.c in the bag and it looks like they have never opened the bag and then she read the i.c and it is true that it belongs to me. At the same time, I checked and it turned out that my handbag was not with me. I panicked and went down to get my handbag. I was worried because I was carrying a large amount of money. After checking, everything is still in my handbag. I would like to thank the 2 Indian women who work at the front desk for being honest and kind. But only, they should have come to the room earlier and inquired about the handbags found. But maybe as i said, maybe they have never opened the handbag and waiting for someone to come over asking about the handbag. in any case I am still grateful to them and this hotel is definitely the best!

Stay there for one quick night, bed and bathroom was great and clean, but shower drainage might be a bit slow. Our next door is a family, and we can hear baby crying clearly as the room designed as connecting room, luckily the hotel is not in peak period.

Overall a pleasant stay and good housekeeping and bed maintenance. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back to chose this hotel for all my future trips to Ipoh Pros: • Ample car park at shop lot area. For those coming from different state will need Park@Perak App to pay for parking • There is lift and suitable for fmly with older adults as don't have to take stairs • Welcoming staff • Family Room with lounge was spacious and corner room • Minibar with free water and ipoh 3in1 white coffee • Aircon is centralized and got cool faster • Dark curtains kept room dark during a hot evening • Shower water pressure and bathroom amenities was in good condition • Towels was provided and clean • Bed and pillows was in clean condition and comfortable • I checked in slightly earlier than check in time and hotel staffs was accommodative • Had quite a number of lamps in the room give a nice ambience • Lobby is cozy and well maintained • Opposite distance to Aeon mall Farlim • 7 min drive to Ipoh city or town Cons: • The room could get noisy during full occupancy of the hotel rooms. I checked in Thurs so not many, there was another guest next door and I could hear people talking and closing opening doors and shower tap. • TV volume was purposely set to a reduced volume, probably to avoid noise. • Hair dryer auto offs every 1 min and will need to wait at least 3 minutes before it can be reused again. Unsure if it was program in such a way to prevent overheating • Ironing board and iron was provided but ironing board was in poor condition and iron had burnt stain • There's no wardrobe but has a iron rod with 6 hangers to hand clothes if needed • No fridge in room
