Exceptional”
Well-located just outside of the hustle and bustle of town but just a short drive away. Quiet and scenic location. The owner is very kind! Nearby a couple of cute coffee shops with great views as well as many other tourist attractions.

Pleasant Stay”
Owner and both of his brothers are very Friendly! And speaks English very well! Location of property is good too as you can enjoy scenic views right from your room corridor or the best view is at their property dinning area/breakfast area. Although my room is kinda outdated, but its clean and free from bugs. Parking is right beside your lodging.

Friendly host nice facilities ”
Host is very friendly and offers to assist in any way possible. The place has plenty to offer(gym pool etc) A little far from the city but renting a motorbike overcomes this easily, would highly recommend

Location isn't enough. ”
Nice swimming pool, lovely view, friendly manager. However, no hot water in our room, the room was not cleaned after the first day, water bottles not replaced, and toiletries, in very minimal supply, not replenished. Towels were unchanged. the room was clean, but the bathroom mouldy and unkempt. This lack of attention to detail is quite typical of Pai, where rooms are generally overpriced and lacking care and effort.

I was hoping for a clean peaceful place in nature with a nice pool. The room was dirty, on the first night there was loud music instead of sounds of jungle on second night non stop banging and water flowing in room above me all night. Room was so dirty and pool was broken and unusable. This place is the dirtiest place I've stayed and when my friend offered to have me at her hotel on last night I was happy to check out early and go there instead. For same price in town she had clean sparkling room with hot water and clean sheets. I would recommend staying elsewhere to happy village.

The hotel is set about 5-7 minutes outside of town by car/motorbike. In fact renting a motorbike is essential if you stay here, but you really should get one if you visit Pai to make the most of your time. The hotel rents motorbikes for 150THB per day with helmet with no hassles. No need to leave your passport, and no scams. Rent full of Petrol and return full. It is NOT a walkable distance to town, and there are no taxi/tuk tuks, so a motorbike is a must. The first mention must be of the hospitality of the owner and family. They really go above and beyond and i felt more like an old friend than guest. They picked me up and dropped me off in town for free, and were very hospitable during my stay. On my checkout i had left a couple of items in the room, and the owner came and found me in a cafe in town to returned the items. I really appreciated that gesture. Thank you. Amazing. The pool is absolutely idyllic, postcard stuff. There is also a gym and sauna onsite. This would be a very nice place to rest for a few days, as there are coffee shops and view points withing meters of the hotel. Just head into town for meals. The bungalows are very new, and are extremely comfortable with AC/TV and comfortable beds. Enough room to move around with a spacious wet room that has a very nice shower. Some constructive criticism: the cleaners could make more effort in the bathrooms, there is a soapy feel to the wall/floor and the sink was not cleaned at all during my stay. I do hope the owners will address this because it really is the only minor downside. Also in the colder months, it would be very nice to have a second blanket in the room. I'm sure the owners would have been only too happy to supply me with one, but i obviously didn't want to disturb anyone at 3am - and it was my last day. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time Im in PAI. This time i will stay longer, chill and recharge my batteries. Final mention to the lovely white dog that will come to gree

The owners of Pai Happy Village treated us so well! They gave us information about the surrounding area, suggested sights and gave directions, fed us a lovely basic breakfast daily, and received rides to and from downtown when didn't rent their scooters (which we did for a few days and were a lot of fun). We expecially enjoyed the view from our room and the pool where we were surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Our room was comfortable and clean, our air con efficient, and our balcony very useful for evening card games. Pai Happy Village exceeded our expectations! We were happy to be a short distance from town where it's quiet, but close enough to the tourist attractions. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful place”
Pai Happy Village is a great place to stay. Our room was very nice,the bed was very confortable,the bathroom was also good and everything looks new and clean. In the resort you can also have a beautiful swimmingpool with a fantastic mountain wiew where you can see a magical sunset. If you like to work out you have a nice little gim just down by the pool and the sauna. Absolutley gourgeos. The owner is very frendly,he was very helpfull. He tooks as to the bus station the day we leave. Thank you so much Leh.

A good place that could be brilliant”
I stayed at this place on two separate occassions and would stay again. It suits my needs in that it has a fitness centre and pool and my objective was to lose weigbt. The sunset viewed from the porch is memorable. Be aware they have a dog that wonders the property who is friendly once she gets to know you. My first encounter was far from pleasant and I felt that it's owner could have been more proactive in resolving the matter. Nevertheless the staff do their best. This place would be brilliant if they kept up with general maintenance. Deep cleaning the bathroom, descaling the shower heads, mending broken furniture, etc. The property is approximately 4km from Pai centre it's worth hiring a scooter or pay 150 baht for a trip into town. The website claims that there is daily house keeping this was not my experience. As I said before this a good place to stay that just requires some attention to detail to make it great.

Lovely stay”
This place was great. Big room, hot shower, nice pool and friendly staff. You need a motorbike as it is outside of Pai center but it is better value for the money. The dogs are funny too.

This place is amazing. A little dated and needs a little more love but it was the perfect location. And the owner is just amazing. He’s gonna do his best to make yourself at home. Don’t regret going to Pai happy Village.

Beautiful place, great staff”
Really enjoyed staying here. View at the pool over the mountains was one of my favorite parts of visiting Pai, actually. For this price, I recommend... though the rooms are looking old and worn, and could use a refresh. Not super comfortable. Excellent staff. You'll want to rent a bike or motorbike to get around the mountains and into town.

Lacks character”
We were convinced by the reviews, but got a bit disappointed after seeing and comparing to other places in Pai. It has absolutely no character, just a concrete bungalow far from the town. We thought we need to go so far out of town to get some sleep, but no, you can get a nice quiet place that is actually in town, for the same money. Staff was really nice though.

Disappointing”
Read mixed reviews but overall seemed good so booked it for 2 nights. When we checked in we were slightly disappointed to find that the room did not look as good as the photos but it seemed reasonable for the price. The owner knocked on the door and offered another room for us (we hadn’t said anything) because he thought our room smelled bad. So we had a look and were given a room in a block nearer the entrance. On first sight it looked nicer as it was better decorated with photos on wall etc. But we were disappointed with this room because of: - noise from neighbours’ rooms and bathrooms - poorly maintained/general wear and tear of furnishings - large showerhead wasn’t working - sulphur smell from aircon/sink in room - mattress old and squeaky - patio doors didn’t lock properly We felt like we should have stayed in the original room. It’s a shame because the view is outstanding, the staff are lovely and this could be an amazing place with some improvements.

Exceptional”
We loved our stay here. The owner is AMAZING. Beyond nice. He dropped us off at the bus stop when we left. The rooms are modern, clean, spacious. Cleaned daily, free water in the fridge. The hotel has a pool with mountain views, a gym, and sauna. Definitely need to rent a scooter (you can rent from them), not in town but is quiet and closer to nature. Hands down would recommend and stay here again.

A little gem in the mountains ”
This place is perfect. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to make you happy. They rooms lovely and clean, bed really comfy and shower is nice and hot! Breakfast is eggs, breads and spreads & tea and coffee, basic but lovely. 5 mins moped from town and about 5-10 mins to lots of attractions including the amazing Canyon at sunset! Loved this place - would defo recommend!
