I booked this hotel for the 2nd time as the 1st time was with good memories, however we had to wait for more than 1 hour to check in to our room. We were a group of 9 with 2 elderlies and we arrived there around 3pm which is hotel's check-in time. Although they were aware of my arrival time which was supposed to be around 1 pm but due to flight delay, we reached there by 3 pm but still our rooms were NOT ready and we had to wait until 4 pm (I'd asked for 3rd floor rooms). After one hour, they still didn't say anything while the 9 of us were frustrated and when I tried to ask them why rooms are not ready I got the most ridiculous response that I have ever heard: "The rooms you requested are still not ready and we are not sure when they can be ready" I was told this after 1 hour and then they said "We are going to give you 2 rooms at ground floor and 1 room is still not ready as housekeeping hasn't finished yet." If they could not give me the rooms at higher floor, they could've told me sooner instead of keeping me for more than an hour but I still get this part. However they did NOT even have available rooms at ANY floor and when I said I booked 3 rooms more than one week before and I was here at 3 pm and I expect my rooms to be ready upon my ARRIVAL, they said "it's not our fault, it's housekeeping fault!!!!" How awful a management can be that they cannot sync up their teams together and let one blame the other one. It's like a guest would care whose fault it is. Anyways, I won't be going back to this hotel and it's not that it's a bad hotel and I would NOT recommend it to you if you want your room to be ready on time and believe me waiting time is NOT 10, 15 or 20 minutes as the 1st time, I also waited for more almost an hour but I could understand that as I'd arrived before 3 pm. I have a complaint about AGODA as they had not shared my special requests with the hotel and they didn't have what I had written while booking my rooms through your website.

Room 318 is so comfy and interior is so good. Incredibly spacious room and bathroom - the tub also. Cleanliness is superb. Ombak villa staff's are very friendly. Great taste of breakfast and its choice. Nearby to airport. Beautiful spots everywhere to enjoy the shot taking. ** Waited 20minutes for buggy service to go for breakfast after booking call has made and end up by walking myself to the restaurant. But overall, I enjoyed my stay at Ombak Villa just only with RM199 for amazing deluxe room. Recommended.

This place is wonderful. A few minutes drive from the airport. 10-15 minutes from Pantai Cenang beach area. 15 minutes from the Skybridge area. Make sure you get Uber, because the cabs are expensive. You can always rent motorbikes but I'm glad I took Uber, it was so convenient and super cheap. Pool - the best thing about this hotel is the rooftop pool. The views are amazing from there and the pool itself is great. You can spend an entire day there. It's great, they have their own restaurant so you can order food and drinks anytime you want. Breakfast - I LOVED the breakfast. They will make you any kind of eggs you want so try different styles. They also have a great selection of Malaysian cuisine but if you're not into it, there's more than enough Western food. Lots and lots of fruits and yogurts, cereal and milk and juices. They also have a great selection of breads including whole wheat, which I loved. A few times they also had hummus! I'm getting hungry by just writing about this haha. Enjoy your stay, it's a great place!

We stayed in 3317 a triple sharing accommodation which has a kitchen. Unfortunately the kitchen does not have any cooking utensils or burners. Luckily we did not intend to cook anything there except to boil water to make quick 3in1 beverages. Bath towels were provided with a standard hotel soap (no fancy soaps), water pressure very good, enjoyed the showers. A split type air-conditioner is provided to cool the room which overtime can also cool the dining and kitchen. The room entry are keyless where a RF card is provided and to power the room we needed to insert into the slot. Only one card is provided and when leaving the room need to remove and that cuts the power into the room. So no way to run the A/C all the time. We did not explore the pool nor breakfast provided. Anyway there are plenty eateries around to enjoy local food. Loved the seafood at one of the kampong outlets, service was efficient and super fast!! Suggest to the hotel management to provided cable TV at the minimum some local varieties to keep us entertained.

We arrived at night, and wanted a cheap basic hotel which was located between the airport and ferry terminal. We chanced upon this hotel and for the price, was not expecting a lot! However, this hotel turned out to be the best value I have ever stayed in! Due to the location though, I can only recommend it if you are in transit, or else, rent a car (which you will have to, to get around Langkawi). Staff were very helpful to advice on places to go to eat, and even calling the restaurant on our behalf to send a shuttle (oh yes, the restaurant was NOT cheap!! But, they brought us there and back so we can't complain). The only grouse I have is in the morning, breakfast is supposed to be served from 7am, we went down at 7.30am and the waiter was still setting up.. only after we were done, more food came out, by 8am.. I can't help but wonder what happens if a customer needed to be out of the hotel earlier.. He/she would be very disappointed not to get their breakfast that morning. Having said that, the lone waiter (possibly he was the only one doing everything behind the scenes and in front)was very friendly and gave us big smiles so we didn't mind.

not many cab drivers knew where this was, so it took a while to find it. i wasn't expecting much, as i was only there for one night to fly out the next day. but the hotel blew my expectation. i wished i had stayed here longer. its very convenient, literally just minutes away from the airport. if i remember correctly the drive and the check in took me no longer than 5mins altogether. the place is very clean, with all the amenities. the beds were very comfy, bed sheets and bath towel were super soft. i've been on the road for a while so it was like luxury. the wifi is super fast.. and syed and his family were accommodating, insisting i join them for dinner, but i had already eaten. his wife then came up to my room to give me a piece of cake instead. they were very lovely, i'd definitely come back here again next and would recommend it to anyone that wants to be nearby the airport
