“Comfortable Family Suite in a Great Location”
There is no free parking. The parking here is paid. At Bangi Gateway, it costs RM8.50 per day. There are two types of parking: basement and outdoor. So the “free parking” benefit should probably be removed because it can mislead customers who want to book this hotel. There is a lift available, which makes it easy to bring up luggage if you have a lot of things. The room I got (Family Suite) was comfortable. The air conditioner, fan, and lights all worked well. A mini fridge and night lamp were also provided. There was a TV, but… on the first day I managed to connect it, then suddenly the channels disappeared. Overall, the TV didn’t function. For the Family Suite, two double beds are provided. What was lacking, however, was that the pillowcases and blanket had a slight smell. I asked the staff to change them, and they gave me fresh ones. So the hospitality was okay. The bathroom and toilet are combined. Overall, everything was fine. I actually liked the bathroom because it was comfortable. The water pressure was strong and not slow. The water heater worked perfectly. The room also had a clothes rack with hangers. But there was no large wardrobe—only many drawers for storage. The power plugs were all functioning and not damaged. Towels were provided. There were also cups and instant coffee, but for better hygiene, it’s better to wash the cups before using them. Cold, hot, and warm drinking water are available, but you need to take them from the counter area. They are not provided inside the room. An iron is also available, but it’s placed outside (shared). A deposit is required. It’s better to pay in cash. The amount is RM50, and the deposit will be returned during checkout. The location is strategic because everything is nearby—restaurants, Jaya Grocer supermarket, Watsons. Everything is close since it’s inside Bangi Gateway Mall. Overall, I give it 8/10.
