I arrived to check in at midnight and the receptionist Mr. Chong is really helpful. He explained He is knowledgeable about the hotel's facilities, services, and the surrounding area. He provided me with directions, and recommendations for currency exchange, and offer suggestions for activities and attractions. He is informative and has an in-depth understanding of the hotel's offerings and should be able to answer any questions I might have about their stay. He is also friendly and approachable. to me where can I get a passport photo for my visa and where can I get cash (MYR) for my visa. He is able to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently, resolving any issues that may arise during my stay. This is some information for people who needs a Thai visa: 9:30 am you can go to DHL for passport photos 10:00 am you can get documents printed at Hock Choon Supermarket 1/F, 11:00 Am you can get currency exchange 1/F. The house keeping team is really professional, I came back to my room spotless every day. I stayed here for 4 nights. Hope this is helpful.

Oakwood hotels do not disappoint”
We stayed for 3 nights to watch a concert in KL. We have stayed in the Oakwood branch in Manila, and we have always loved staying there. We especially like that there is a kitchenette is all their rooms, and the have big closets and bathrooms. The rooms are quite spacious considering how reasonably priced they are. We liked the quiet residential location, even though it takes about 20+ minutes to reach the city center by car. Even though check-in was at 3 PM, they allowed us to check-in at 1 PM, as soon as we arrived. One comment about the staff: they are not quite friendly but are able to provide information when you ask them. I also asked one male staff at the reception to inform housekeeping to clean our room because we forgot to turn off the DND light. We were disappointed to find out when we got back to the room that it was not cleaned. This was a failure in communication that was a bit frustrating. Overall we had a nice stay and will probably stay here again when we go back to KL.

First things first, breakfast was a delightful affair. The variety of options provided a good start to the day, and the quality of the food was impressive. Although I didn't have the opportunity to take a dip in the pool, it was a sight to behold. Impeccably maintained and visually appealing, it certainly added to the overall ambiance of the hotel. I must commend the staff for their friendliness and professionalism. The front desk team was approachable and always willing to assist with any inquiries or requests. I also received great assistance from the helpful guard, whose presence added to the sense of security throughout my stay. One of the notable advantages of this hotel is its convenient location. It is situated close to a supermarket and a 711, making it easy to fulfill any immediate needs. Furthermore, the hotel serves as an excellent starting point for various tours, and its proximity to the iconic Petronas Towers is definitely a plus. In terms of value for money, Oakwood Hotel and Residences Malaysia delivers. However, I did encounter a few minor inconveniences.
