Gorgeous view”
Big and beautiful bungalows, very clean and luxurious. Big balcony with comfortable chairs. The breakfast buffet is magnificent, so much to choose from, and a great coffee machine that made delicious cappuccino. The best with this place is the beach though! Big and beautiful with white sand. Big and fun waves and also corals for snorkling a bit further out. The little hotel bar by the beach serves really nice shakes, and their food was also really good! However, the sandbar thing that can be seen on the pictures are no longer there. It was there when I visitited this hotel 11 years ago. We believe that it is the building of the new luxury resort down at the beach that made it disappear - they've put big rocks where it usually begun. It doesnt change my opinion Mountain resort, but it's a shame that the authorities on the island allowed it, as it was beautiful.

We stayd there for 6 nights and it was amazing. We had room 11. Room 12 has the best location(privacy) in my opinion. But nothing to complain, houskeeping is doing their job well! We had everyday free snacks, soda’s and beer delivered to our room.

If you like snorkeling this hotel is the best in Lipe. You can walking down to beach and swim 10 meter to meet Nemo fish family. The other thing is this beach actually private, not too much traveler from other place and no boats coy.

Amazing Service”
I’m only a few nights into my stay, but I love this place and I’ve stayed at 4 other places on the island. Not all rooms in a category are created equal, but they do all seem nice and everything is spotless. What really stands out is the amazing service from absolutely everyone (and a great front desk staff). The breakfast is very nice with a lot of options, an unbeatable view, and they have a fantastic espresso machine. I put 5 stars for location because I chose this spot for the location, but it’s not for everyone. To me, it’s on the nicest beach which is very unspoilt, and that’s where I want to spend my days. It’s a bit of a hike to the centre (a bit over 1km) in the daytime heat, so if you don’t want the beach every day then it may not be for you. They do have a shuttle though that runs every 15 mins between 6pm and 10pm, so great for dinner and if you’re out later then there’s a taxi or being forced to get exercise (work off that breakfast!). I would absolutely stay here again.

I loved my stay at Mountain Resort! It was by far the best resort in all my stay in Thailand (and I have been to Koh Phi Phi and Bangkok before Koh Lipe). The staff, the view from the hotel, the great breakfast, made it a perfect and relaxing stay! I would certainly come back to this hotel and definitely will recommend to everyone (couples or family with little children). They have free transfer from Hotel to Walking Street. The swimming pool was delicious and the beach was simply speechless!!! Again, by far the best value for money!!!

Garden view room is nice with cold aircond! Lucky enough to be greeted by cute and fluffy cat😍! The beach is super nice, and clean eventhough not big, and less crowd as only the resort and nearby resort guest come here. The bar/cafe at the beach serving fusion local f&b and beer too, and the service staff is very nice and smile not stop😍. The Front desk also verry nice and accomodating. The dining area is very beautiful and serving good selection of breakfast buffet. Is about 15 min from the Pataya Beach, however dont worry, “local taxi” is ready almost all the time. Do book this resort!!!

Amazing views”
We loved our 5 nights at this hotel. The views are incredible and our room was very big and comfortable. There were a lot of mosquitoes all over the island but they left a spray and a mosquito zapper in our room which was helpful, unfortunately every day the bathroom, in particular, ended up looking like a mosquito graveyard but they were slow and easy to catch so we didn't actually get bitten very much at all. The breakfast spread looks very impressive but it was just okay. There were enough choices so we all had something we were happy enough to eat each day. The views are incredible from the breakfast room though, you could never get sick of that view! The beach down below the hotel is gorgeous and the snorkeling was fantastic, you didn't have to go far from the shore to see amazing coral and fish etc. It would have been nice if the kayaks etc had been available to guests for free but the seating down at the beach was great for guests. Overall it was fabulous.

Can see view of the blue sea and mountain from the Hotel. Silent, no noise. Staff are nice. Breakfast good, during 2021, they serve as all you can eat, not buffet.

Great off-the-beaten track location ”
We extended our stay 3 times here, so clearly we enjoyed our stay very much. Fantastic views from the breakfast terrace, and very tasty breakfast with lots of choices, including great curries & fried noodles and lots more. The rooms are very spacious and the pool is really pleasant. The beach is amazing, the beach bar is great and offers good food. Couple of constructive inputs to management: - Staff should really improve their basic English, especially the receptionists. - The stairway to the beach is nasty... Would be asy to clean and maintain. - It would be much more comfortable to have some cushions on the wood chaise lounges. We look forward to visiting again and will be curious if some of these points will improve. It's a great spot to spend a very relaxing vacation

Stunning location ”
Couldn't ask for a more stunning location, our bungalow was very clean and comfortable. Note lots of steps to the beach but well worth it. The shuttle service to Walking Street every evening was excellent as was the pick up and drop off to the boat. The staff were excellent and friendly.

Truly felt like a vacation ”
Excellent location that is isolated from all other resorts. Beautiful section of the beach and quiet. Hotel rooms were big and clean. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back!

The resort is well maintained and has a nice pool. It’s location on the beach is picture perfect and in my option the nicest because it was quieter and less long tail traffic than sunrise or sunset. They offer a free pick up/drop off to the ferry and evening shuttle to the walking street market which was very handy. They required us to wear a mask at breakfast which we thought was over the top because masks weren’t mandated. Also, they didn’t provide any hand wash at the buffet. So if you really wanted to make a difference in spreading germs ditch the masks and provide hand washing at each table. I would also like to see these island resorts to provide filtered water in reusable bottles /glasses so there isn’t so much plastic waste.

Great spot with beautiful views”
We were in a garden deluxe next to the frog pond which was quite noisy. Also the hike up the hill is 76 steps but if those two things don't bother you it's a beautiful resort
