Exceeded Expectation”
Loved every minute at The Moracea. I had a delux beachfront bungalow which sat right in front of the ocean. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed and a huge, deep round bath in the bathroom which I had requested. The 'backyard' held a pool approx 100 meters long. One of four pools. Fifty meters to the left of my room was happy hour bar with cocktails priced at approx 120baht($4.40aud) and 100 meters to the right was the main dining area and another 2 bars. Not far from the hotel along the beach was a massage hut ($12.50aud) for 1 hour Thai Massage. Food at The Moracea was nice but not exceptional. Breakfast choices were many and varied from a signature croissant eggs Benedict to traditional Thai dishes. The town of Khao Lak was only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the resort and had many nice restaurants. I will be back next year.

Room 703 Best Room in the Resort!”
My husband and I recently stayed in the private bungalow with it’s own private infinity pool. The room was worth the extra cost as it was absolutely beautiful! The numerous public pools were still quiet, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone and the bar drinks were yummy! The beach has rocky areas and they don’t offer chairs directly on it but around it so you still have an amazing view! The spa was great, wished there was a way to view the services they provide and book appointments online though. All in all we both highly recommend Moracea!

Moracea: great resort layout and peaceful location”
The layout of the resort really helped make me feel like I was in a smaller boutique resort. Lots of little areas protected by palm trees and bushes allowing guests to choose if they want a private feel or move to the beach or center for more action. The resort is built into the hillside, so as others have stated, there are some steps and inclines, but that is overcome easily by the staff driving you up or down when asked. The room was nicely decorated and looked just like the pictures. Comfortable bed, good AC, warm showers - all good in the room. The food on site was excellent, but the alcoholic drinks were only OK. I do not recommend doing the all-inclusive but rather grab a taxi (they wait right outside the resort) and go to one of the many wonderful restaurants and bars in town. Save the resort restaurants for the really lazy days when you just want to do nothing :

We booked a pool villa and felt very well. The resort is extremely quiet, the view to the sea is fantastic. Beach and sea are very clean, the water clear. Staff extraordinary friendly and helpful, what every we needed was taken care in minutes. Even the price quite high, I would like to come again, because what you get is a relaxing holiday in a beautiful sorrounding.

Staying here you will feel like a first class person. The surroundings are lovely, the ambiance is great, the food is above average, and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. A great place to when visiting Khaolak. Be prepared to get some exercise as you walk from place to place but you can call for them to come and pick you up and drop you off where you like. A very lovely and comfortable resort.

Great place my wife and confusion me enjoyed . The lovely greenery prestine beach, courteous staff and a lovely variety of food made this stay a memorable one. The charges were reasonable and good value for money. The 3600 Bhat taxi fare from Phuket Airport to resort and back and the monitor lizards walking around freely were a few of the surprises. There was no activity at the resort but it could be fun during the season time . We enjoyed our stay though spells of heavy rain did force us to stay indoors.

- I stay in Allamanda pool villa which located on the hill. From my room, total beach view can be seen (different view in each room). - Staff is exceptionally helpful. They also provide shuttle bus in resort. - The beach is exclusive for guests. This resort has the best scenery compared with nearby resorts.

I stayed a week in a premium room overlooking the ocean. I loved the room, it’s functionality and the details in decoration. Makes you feel homey. The breakfast buffet is massive with choices for every palate. The gym is decent equipped , no excuse not to workout and keep focusing on your goals. The surroundings are lush green, the pool decent sized and the beach a long stretch for good walks. Definitely a 5 star resort I would no hesitate to stay again.

The hotel was clearly having shortage of sun beds by the pools and even though it was prohibited to reserve sun beds for more than 30 min, guests would leave their towels on them and go have breakfast and come back 3-4 hours later. Restaurant food was not the best either. The rest was amazing, the territory and the beach and the rooms were great
