I booked at the Jnr Suite, place was clean, very strategic area walking distance to malls, 24hr shops, 24hr restaurants & night clubs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool is big. Bedroom and living room are in separate rooms. Wifi connection is good. There are mini fridge, sink to wash my kitchen utensils & water boiler for my coffee. During that time was Christmas Day and i was been given free cookies from the Hotel.

Location is conveniently located in the city centre- Imperial Mall & Permaisuri Imperial Mall is just 3-5 minutes walk away and so as Miri Handicraft Centre, and the popular Wireless Walk street food. It has basement parking, rooms are clean and spacious, and it is disable community friendly. Service staffs especially at Chatterbox Cofeehouse are friendly and accommodating especially. Breakfast has a variety of options. Worth every penny!

Pleasantly surprised ”
We didn’t expect the room we booked was big! Our kids enjoyed the large space as they had their own entertainment area. We also liked the separated bathrooms/toilet. The bed was huge and comfy. We had a good night sleep indeed! We enjoyed the pool too.. however there still was no hot shower and poor maintenance of the pool toilet since the last time we stayed here pre covid days. It was dark and gloomy and has no soap nor shampoo. Food selection for breakfast buffet was great too.. service was excellent

Old hotel, but clean and functional”
- Location is great and room with great view (we stayed in family room 1215) - Room is clean except for the bathroom which is a bit old - Staff are friendly The downside of this hotel are: - Pool not maintained well, doors are broken and no guard. No kids pool either. - Terrible service at The Restaurant. We arrived the hotel past lunch time (around 3pm) and were informed that ala carte food was available to be ordered. Food arrived 1hr later with my parents and kids were hungry. And we were the ONLY customers that time. That kind of service did traumatized me. I don’t think I will come back (although the bed are comfortable!)

The best place to unwind and relax. Room is very spacious! Cleanliness superb! Staff is friendly! Breakfast spread was just nice. I'd come back anytime soon. Wireless walk is just downstairs. There is also one 24hr minimart for your convenient.

They closed the swimming pool during my stay, although the country no longer has restriction on that. The room is cheaper, location is strategic, and breakfast is ok considering the cheap room price. When I booked, Agoda shows bathtub included but in reality there is none, so I had to pay RM20 extra for a better room. Anyway, I believe this has been rectified? Thanks

Central location ”
Chosen Mega Hotel for its central location. Though the hotel has seen better days, rooms are clean. The bathtub should have been updated. There were marks at the sides which looked like hairs sticking to the tub. It's ok for a standing shower but will definitely not soakin the tub. Liked the omelette and nasi lemak in the breakfast buffet spread. It would be great if the pool is available, but it's been closed for renovations for a long time. Overall, value for money for a short stay. Malls, seafood restaurant, massage parlours, supermarket, dryfoods shop, etc are all within walking distance 👍

On the top list for nice hotel for everyone that comes to Miri. Really well known hotel. Located in the middle of Miri city. Malls are just nearby the hotel. Their breakfast are the spotlight of the stay, super tasty. Super clean and nice design. Worth the price.

Everything is fine BUT...”
Everything is okay except for the noise blasting from the nearby clubs/ pubs (or in-house entertainment outlet, we couldn't tell) was so loud and unbearable and it continued up till 10am. It was hard for us to fall asleep. FYI, our room is facing PUMASERA building. My friend who is facing AIA building also had the same issue with the loud noise.

The locations is strategy as it is middle of the town. Alot of happening nightlife and food around. It is recomended to stay for sleep and put ur luggage. Nothing fancy about the room in term of decorations, view and design. Maybe something occur during my check in and check out. The receiptionist need to take quite sometime to process the customer before me.Maybe they have improved and do not put the trainee alone at the receiptionist counter anymore now..

I love how the place is really close to shopping malls and night market/ food stalls are just 3 mins walk. The staff are all friendly and helpful, so is polite. My second time staying at Mega Hotel and still loving it.
