Perfect place to stay im Ko Lipe”
Everything was great here. First we booked only one night, because we wanted to check the other places in Ko Lipe first, before we commit our self. So on the first day we checked nearly all other beach resorts on the island and decided no better place to stay then Mali Resort Sunrise Beach. Especially the huge pool with its two islands was my favorite. The beach was also nice and clean. Breakfast could be ordered a la carte, as much and often as we wanted. A small problem with the shower head was fixed within 15 minutes after us telling the reception. WIFI was good, only the fact that you have to login into it every time when you change your location within the resort was a little bit annoying. If I come back to Ko Lipe, for sure only to Mali Resort Sunrise Beach

Exceptional”
We enjoyed our stay here... a great location on Sunrise beach for snorkelling the islands and/or organising a boat and just a few minutes to walking street eating places (our fave was Noy Wangcha-Aon). The pool was also a big bonus as not many hotels have one on Koh Lipe. Villa was nicely appointed and spacous even with extra bed. Only negative was the breakfast menu which was ok but a bit limited and not that special, it would have been nice to have some pancakes on there!

Hotel was awesome! Breakfast was superb! Hotel is near to walking street! And free pickup to hotel after immigration clearance. Thank u to Ms Clare their reservation manager for the warm wellcome and helping us transfer to another hotel the nxt day, thank u mali resort sunrise fr the pleasant honeymoon stay! Hoping to visit u guys again! :)

Great hotel, amazing staff ”
We had a lovely week at Mali Sunrise. Staff couldn’t be nicer, pool is stunning, rooms are beautiful, the restaurant, breakfast, cocktail bar are all lovely. We had an issue whilst staying in that the generator failed which left us without electricity for almost two days. However the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and dealt with it in the most professional way. Run by two nice American guys who were delightful throughout what was obviously a very stressful time for them. They put us up for two nights in the hotel next door and covered the costs AND refunded us two nights’ accommodation because the hotel next door wasn’t the same standard. I can’t fault them at all for the way they dealt with the issue and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Lovely big rooms and facilities. Pool was lagoon style which was attractive but guessing due to it being around 4’ deep, was a tad too warm to ‘cool down’! Staff very courteous and prompt with any requests. Great beach with amazing snorkelling. Overall, Koh Lipe ticked all the boxes and is highly recommended 😎

Comfortable villa for family with good brekkie over sunrise”
Stayed in a standalone villa that offered a fantastically spacious bathroom. My family of 5 stayed comfotably despite some flies visiting us but thats how living along the beach is. Brekkie is tasty and staff is willing to accomodate to special requests. Location on Sunrise beach is good cuz it offers a good sunrise view and not as noisy as Pattaya or dead as Sunset beach. Good food choices everywhere. Serendipity on on side, Sunrise Restaurant the other and Nee Papaya at the back. Highly recommend these three places for food - all within walking distance (5-10mins). Close to Walking Street although you might feel tired after walking back-and-forth for 5 days. Only grouse is the lack of rental for snorkelling equipment and miserable coral reef in front of hotel. Go to Walking Street to check out boat trip prices. Massage at Bundhaya resort is the best, same price as the one near Mali. But walking to Bundhaya is a little tiring and hot so take the one near Mali if you dont want to walk.

Nice Hotel with Good price.”
We came in a group of 4 adults and 1 toddler, booked 2 Villas (Hut) during low peak season. It is definitely worthy to stay with Mali Sunrise. The hotel is beautiful. However, the staffs were not well trained though, we stayed at the nearest villa to the reception area, it was pretty noisy, they joke and play as they work, it was especially unbearable in the morning when we still trying to catch some sleep. We arrived the Villa before the staffs, so we were already in the room when they came to clean up. Well, we noticed they did not change the bedsheets but just fold it back nicely, so we had to request it to be done because there was an obvious stain on it. It was all good then, I must agreed it was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful stay, worth the money and highly recommended”
We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The room was amazing with soft beddings and pillow. Pleasently surprise at the size of the room. Only things was the bathroom had a damp poor ventilation smell but it was something we could overlook. Hospitality from the front desk was top notch, with the receptionist having a relatively good command of english and a good knowledge of the island to help recommend for anything asked, ever smiling lady that reflects the Thai friendly culture. Toiletries were provided and daily towel change so really thumbs up for me. Breakfast wasn't too bad, was surprised you can order more than just one meal per person. We loved the pool as well, clean and warm waters. The best part was the beach right in front of the resort, quiet and view thats all too dreamy straight out of a post card. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back here again for our next trip.

Staffs are great but the rooms are disappointing ”
Great to see the staffs welcoming us at the pier , carrying the luggage and transferring us to the resort. They are friendly and nice. Checking in and out is fast and smooth. The services of hotel staffs are great too. Located with less than 10mins walking distance to walking street. Breakfast with limited choice but taste good. Short walking to beach, pool is beautiful. But Our experience at Koh Lipe at Mali resort was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. The room is beautiful with super spacious toilet but there were lots of cockroaches in the room (managed to kill at least 8 cockroaches and some even went into our luggages). There were many mosquitos too. Every time entering the room or waking up in the morning, there will be some lizards droppings on the bed sheet/blanket. The shower gel and shampoo bottle were empty. Furniture are dusty. Hope the cleanliness can be greatly improve.

Good sized room, easy to use resort”
Great Resort all around. Rooms were clean and new. All amenities were proper and working well. Good sized rooms with desk and couch. The Resort was well positioned on the island, beachfront. The resort is flat meaning it is easy to walk around. Many baby strollers with people easily doing laps around the resort due to the ease of getting around the resort. The Restaurant is beachfront and has ample seating and shade. We took a Fishing Trip from a recommended expert guide by the resort manager and were very well taken care of and caught a massive Sailfish.

Beautiful resort”
The resort is amazing. We stayed at the bali suite and the room is beautiful, has a nice ambiance, comfy bed and spacious bathroom. The pool is nice. The restaurant is by the beach, so we get to enjoy breakfast with a nice view and sea breeze. Food was okay. Staff was helpful. Will consider coming again. This resort is located at sunrise Beach. The beach is beautiful.

spent 6 days (5 nights) there. Very enjoyable resort, good location, sunrise beach is better than Pattaya beach I think. I would stay here again. No facilities though except the pool but what else is really needed?

We booked and stay in Balinee luxury villa. Big room, clean and comfortable bed, steps away from beach and crystal clear water. Restaurant by the beach, delicious breakfast. Staffs are very nice and friendly. I definitely comeback and stay in the same hotel again.!

Good place, still room for improvement”
Nice resort, except for 1 room... Stayed in Balinese Luxury Villa. Room B6 seems to be noisy due to machinery (around the clock). Both on duty managers, Claire & Tom, were very helpful. Not to forget other staffs, yes they were friendly and cheerful. Food menu definitely needs a significant improvement (especially breakfast). No hot water pot. As for the island itself; tried a few seafood restaurants. Definitely not the freshest seafood, but there are tonnes of choices.

Nice small resort for retreats”
The resort offer spacious room with nice ambient. Beach are just a step away and huge pool if you had enough of the sea. Be remind, there are no phone in the room and internet connection are slow/no connection in some of the room.

WOW!!! This place was absolutely amazing”
Pros - everything, big rooms, great pool, great restaurant/bar right on the beach, talk about heaven Cons - only 1, no do not disturb/please make up my room for the door, housekeeping banging on your door sometimes as early as 9am, no good after a big night
