"When I arrived there were no staff around other than cleaners who were unable to help us which confused us. There was a notice in the office window telling us that on Christmas day and boxing day Management would be spending it with their families. I have no objections with this. However They could have told us about this when we booked so that we would know what to do. Why was it not possible to have one staff member about from say noon till 10pm on these days? I had no phone with me so I couldn't find out how to get entry and had to rely on another guest who was also very angry. It took 2 hours to get entry and was forced to abandon a pre arranged visit to a friend. The unit was very good in every respect and it's a pity that my stay was spoiled by not being given notice of the position."
