"pros - near the airport, very peaceful place so it's the best time to relax and enjoy the views of nature, no traffic unlike in city area, has a lots of restaurants nearby (fresh seafoods forget about chicken and pork for awhile), all the staff are friendly although they can't speak a fluent english but I can see that they're trying their best to give all your needs. Wi-Fi connection was not that bad and even the swimming pool are clean. cons - theres no countdown event at the hotel (since we go there a day before new years eve) so we need to go to cenang beach to join the countdown, same as if you want to swim to the beach you still need to go to cenang beach. but overall this is one of the books I wont even forget, ill be back again soon in this place"

"My wife and I had planned a short trip to Lankawi and Kuala Lumpur with the idea of celebrating her birthday, as well as our second honeymoon. The moment we arrived there, we were overwhelmed by the warm and friendly reception by our hosts - Dietmar and Maria, the lovely couple who own the place. The place is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay. Maria prepares an awesome English breakfast in the morning, which must not be missed! Dietmar has a range of scooters and bikes available for hire, which he maintains in great condition given his passion for bikes. A bike is a must-have in Langkawi, if you are looking to cut transportation costs (cabs are quite expensive) and cover long stretches within the island. I have fallen in love with Langkawi as a holiday destination - it definitely demands a second visit. Whenever I do, we'll make sure to book our stay at Ocean Lodge. Extremely affordable, great value for money, highly recommended. "

"We were so happy when our room was upgraded to Sea Village Executive Studio Suite when we actually booked for Sea Village Deluxe Studio Suite. We got the best sea view. The studio suite was clean and well equipped with appliances.Bathroom was spacious, got bathtub. Our balcony was awesome. There was buggy service that took us from car park to our suite. We also used the buggy service when we checked out. However, due to the location, sometimes no water at the beach when low tide. Quiet place, but we liked it cause we traveled with little kid. It is 15 mins drive to Cenang Beach (most of the atttractions) but we don't mind (we kinda enjoy leisure driving?). I would say this resort is not for beach activities, but more for relaxing and mind theraphy kind of place. I would definitely visit this resort again."
